Is this a "you are so wrong" laugh? I'd like to be but if the previous three seasons are anything to go by I'm not. Its like in Gate with the Japanese military slaughtering everything in sight. No suspense. I mean seeing your enemies flee before you can be fun but it wont be a great show. I've been hoping for the introduction of more "players" to shake things up some but so far it hasn't happened. Maybe soon? |

Maybe soon? well going by the novel this is why i liked the ending of the first season u felt somewhat of a challenge coming up for the mc! in a world he was introduced to be all powerful at!... just because lot of the side characters r fodder doesn't mean they cant be good/interesting characters. but the anime does it so poorly u just feel bored watching them, this is why i prefer the manga, in manga format its much more bearable, in novels its easy to create characters like these but its mostly text. and in a novel theres ALOT of text so yeah, its different when its an anime anyway though i still like overlord. just wished they hadn't rushed s2 s3 that hard hell even s1 was rushed xD there were so many unnecessary parts they adapted and skipped, the budget and directing felt so lacking urghh xD don't even mention gate its Animation style/character designs.. was even more painful to watch |

| its 2020 already :( no season, no news...NOTHING...maybe its gonna take 3 years like from s1 to s2? Does anyone know if this anime is popular in japan and what are the chances of it coming out? I dont want your opinion based if you want it or no i want it based on actual facts and number |

It's one of the top selling light novels and got anime sequels thanks to foreign streaming and support so season 4 will likely happen eventually. A german overlord event said season 4 was in the works but they deleted that statement so they aren't ready yet. Madhouse's anime license for it should expire as well, maybe they are waiting for that so they can get a new studio since season the 2nd half of season 3 was awful. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
Tha's why i love Overlord, Ains and the gang can be kind to his friends/those under him, however has no problem going full evil on other ppl even entire country's even if they innocent/good ppl. And he can just switch to momon if he want to be righteous/hero and so on...lol |

| With the fourth season finally being released, its been so long, I cant fully get into it... For some reason I remembered the previous to be a way better feel overall, hmm... This one is still good goood man but I am not sure as much anymore |
