What do light novel readers expect from the anime version?

I read the manga, its as generic as an isekai story can be. Mc is super strong but meets a stronger enemy, enemy threathens to kidnap his female companions to be used as cum dumpsters by his henchman, then mc gets a power up. Very generic

Why is people writing about how SAO was botched in its adaptation? I read the novels and sure it loses some details, but it is at the same level of what can be considered a decent adaptation. Now if you consider it garbage it is because for you the novels are garbage to begin with.

To be fair the whole resurection scene didnt do it any favors and gave off the wrong impression and signles as it never actually happened even though the exact same scene was used earlier on but this time is reversed

Escaflowne and Inuyasha should ring a bell, those 2 are amazing.

I thought inuyasha was the protagonist of his own anime, anyway, the others I have not heard, but they are Chinese or Korean.

The saga of Tanya the Evil, Magic Knight Rayearth, The Vision of Escaflowne & there is So I’m A Spider So What which got an anime adaption

youjo senki is too different to consider it "isekai" since it is more like a travel to the past, but with magic, also the protagonist before was a man, escaflowne is also very different in style to consider him as an isekai, the spider girl I have not I read, but it sounds rather bizarre. But my point is that I want to see an isekai like today or generic such as smartphone/death march, but changing the boy for a girl I hope you understand me that a Japanese girl is transported to another medieval world and is the most powerful by default and it's all a story of self-insertion.

Isekai with an op female lead doing shit around the world are actually becoming kind of a trend lately in LN, it's still far from being as popular as the male ones but "Didn't I said to make my ability average in the next life" is a prime exemple of that and is getting an anime, "I was reincarnated as the vilainess all route lead to my doom" is also kind of similar but the MC isn't op for combat, it's also getting animated.

Other have recommanded "So I'm spider, so what?" and "Ascendance of a bookworm" and while both have female MC, they're not the generic type of isekai.
