| normally, I would roll my eyes at yet another attempt to stall out the actual relationship in a romance anime, but this was so similar to what happened to me on my 17th birthday that all i can feel is nostalgia. It played out so similarly it almost seems unreal. unlike in this show, i got rejected in the end though... h a h a |

| those friends are so petty / mischievous... "if i, by accident, would develop a crush on you, what would you do?" LOL "Shut up Nobu!" No problem, he still doesn't get it, and so many shenanigans follow, i wrote them on the side while i was watching exactly as she was writing ideas on how to confess but lost the will to point all of them. Otani is the male version of Tenma Tsukamoto, even if i'm not telling this as an insult as i like both her and School Rumble. Risa is so nice that didn't even notice it was her birthday, finally has a chance to wear a yukata and with a even bigger FINALLY is brave enough to tell those words. And the fact is... all the buildup to it and even the sort of clumsy deliver itself were very realistic. |

| Aww, this episode was so funny and cute! >.< For a second I thought Ootani would confess to Risa before she got the chance, but I guess? He didn’t found it out until she said it out loud… which gave us the most annoying cliffhanger ever?! I need to know!! Ps Nobuko was so hilarious and sweet this episode, definitely made me appreciate and love her even more! |
| Oh Otani...dense dense Otani. Your trying to make her happy but you don't even realize your the one upsetting her so much! I have to agree with the previous posters that Nobuko is being an excellent wing woman here! |
