I was kinda looking forward to the concert at the end, but we only got to hear the chorus one fuwa fuwa time >< oh well, it was still an entertaining and relaxing episode. |

As usual, K-ON! gets by with only the bare minimum as far as the music goes. 6/10 from me. I can only hear Fuwa Fuwa Time so many times before I get annoyed. |

I wanted more music D: but it's K-ON, so what was I thinking? anyway, it was nice, cute, and funny episode, and I liked it ^^ bands have to take care of so many things before a concert o.o |

Great episode. I would say it was one of the best ones and yet still stuck with what made K-ON! great....the innocence of youth and inexperience. Their first concert went well from the sound of it. |
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about? |

I think this OVA is the perfect representation of why K-ON was so popular. It was simple It was cute It was VERY enjoyable and no complicated, over-the-top plot K-ON! was MY favorite anime of 2009, not because of the moe, but because of the simpleness, and the overall enjoyment this anime brought. can't wait for K-ON season 2!!! |

It could have used less yui moeblob and more concert and azunyan but it was still better than most of the show. And i'm not expecting hot snowball. |

I watched the entire episode with a big stupid grin on my face, which is what I had come to expect from the series. However, Mio's comments during the tea scene make me wonder if the second season might have a little more drama in it. Even if it doesn't, as long as K-ON! keeps me smiling like an idiot all the way through, I'll be content. As for some specifics... -As others had mentioned, no new music. Second season better deliver. -It kind of bugged me how there wasn't one guy in any of the other bands. I mean, really? Is all-girl bands the new thing in Japan? -Speaking of males, I think club-worker guy brings the grand total of guys in the series to like six or something. Him, the other teacher, the music store employee, Sawako's unrequited love, Ritsu's brother, and his friend. I think that's all of them. -In the shot of the effects pedals, the feet near them look freakishly small. |

I had a worse memory of k-on. This was actually rather entertaining with a nice feeling to it. The only complaint I have is: Again not enough performing. I would have loved to see/hear the other bands perform or at least one or two songs performed by the club. Or even only showing how the entered stage and started performing. But I suppose the episode was done good enough to justify that missing. |

OMG I missed K-ON! And, I missed Mio!! Is it just me or is the quality stepped way up for this special? The animation is brilliant, maybe I'm just forgetting, but I don't remeber it being this good in S1? I can't wait for the second season!!! Urahara Out!! Sent with Mal Updater |

It was pretty good, can't wait for the 2nd season. Btw, was there ever a time that a male character was in it besides the guy in this ep? Plus, I didn't know that Sensei's nickname was Catherine :o |

Awww that was really cute! I loved how Yui would mingle with those other band members, and Mio's face was so priceless when she did. Only wish they would have shown more of their song. All in all though, very good OVA. Left me with a happy feeling in the end. |

Really liked it, just relaxing, moe humor, the way only K-ON! does. And OMG that ending was BEAUTIFUL! It looks like a painting, thumbs up! BUT, as much as I REALLY liked it, I REALLY expected to see more... you know... MUSIC there. It's even called "LIVE HOUSE" for crying out loud! In fact, instead of a normal episode, I think a whole 20 minutes show would be a great idea for a K-ON! special =D |

Yui is so awesome in her Yui-ness... XD Can't describe it. She doesn't get nervous. She doesn't let others' appearances deter her at all. She comes up with ideas to have the spotlight not on her but... on Gitah/Guitah. "All pink" lights... typical Mio, haha! Azusa was in the episode but she didn't seem to have too much of a role. Oh well... I loved watching Yui in this episode. She amuses me. :) |

Need more episodes of them as a band in S2. This is solid proof of that. 8/10. |
