There at the beginning they just went shoot-happy killing more humans than parasyte.. dam. Madhouse is brilliant when it comes to creating a panic/chaotic situation. At the beginning, in the van, the guy sitting next to shinichi was looking straight at him when Migi was talking... |

I wouldn't say this anime is trying to go for the idea that humans are monsters. More the idea that there are no monsters and that everyone is just trying to do the thing that is most valuable to themselves. This anime has always said that humans kill to protect others and further the collective, Parasytes kill to feed. AKA Moral relativism However, This was the only episode we see parasytes acting to kill others in order to protect themselves and risking their lives in order to benefit the collective. Likewise it was the first episode where we see humans selfishly concerned with themselves(sex in an emergency, standing up because they think they're always right. The running guy was pretty dumb though). I would say this episode demonstrated what Tamura Reiko was talking about pretty well. ...still they went too overboard with the whole killing thing, but I guess they want to pace it in a way to get a good last episode. |
| The troops not shooting on sight, but obediently following the parasite to a more open location was just plain inane. Other than that, however, it was a pretty good episode with all that evenly fast-paced action and intensity throughout. Action-wise at least, since the story progress was essentially nonexistent this time 'round, and one can't help but ponder if the content of this episode really deserved more than five minutes tops. |

I really like Uragami at the moment The swat team just taking out anyone who they see is rutheless As good as it was I still wanna see shinchi and Migi and technically its gonna be a 3 way next ep if you read the title weird... |

| I was a tad disappointed by lack of animation budget but the use of shading and facial expressions to convey fear were well done. The music was also very tense and added to the horrifying atmosphere. I like how the police in this series actually do real police work, not just half-ass it or act like total idiots. They take precaution and risks. Though they were definitely portrayed a bit more brutal than I'd expect police to act but given that this is supposed to be a special forces sort of deal, shooting people when they disobey makes sense, especially when if they make the slightest mistake, a parasite can kill people very easily. There were also many moments where you think Uragami is just trying to trick the police into shooting innocent people but it always seems to be otherwise. Though this is I guess fairly obvious since if he did trick them into shooting innocents, he'd be escorted away and imprisoned for life. It's freaky how he gets pleasure from saving people though, "If I wasn't here, those 2 would be full of holes". Gotou bringin out the big guns. The big guns being himself. SHOTGUN ARMS! |

| Whoa that last parasyte was tough, eating loads of bullets just to fire them back from his arm. The fact that he did not bleed either made me scratch my head... maybe he stopped the bullets before they penetrated any vitals or ... thinking back at the black glittering hole he got in his head, his body might be vital less and only contains parasites, though that would not make sense as the parasites need the human body to survive. |
| First off, I was expecting the Urigami to take advantage of his ability to trick the cops into gunning down innocent people. He is a serial killer, after all. Would have also made some tension because the cops wouldn't know who or who not to shoot. Second, was anyone else expecting the parasite to put on that guy's body armor and take his gun? The main combat weakness of the parasites is their lack of range. Having a gun would eliminate that weakness. The part that bugged me was when those four or five cops were standing in front of the indestructible parasite. When they saw their bullets weren't doing anything, they should have just ran away. But they predictably stood there and all got slaughtered. |

| This episode showed only a great bloodbath, and the protagonist stopped be doing nothing all the time, despite having a good dose of action there was almost no development of the plot I hope next episode shows a further development of the story and that Shinichi appear somewhat more .. |

| Excellent ep. Superb ep. Really I loved it. Shit got real in this ep. Poor Shinichi, want to help, but can't do anything. LOL, the police chief is shooting wild anyone that oppose. That's the way you only find in anime. Anyways, nice powers from the old parasyte dude. I knew he weren't just show off after Uragami ran off. He really had a intense look. I am looking so much for the next ep. I wonder what power the young parasyte got in store. This series have to be one of the best anime 2014/15. Too sad that's it's only 4 ep. left. Fortunately it will cover the whole manga. I wonder about the end though. I hope it isn't a crappy one. |

| The atmosphere was created well, and as a viewer it felt very tense when things started to deteriorate with Uragami's misjudgment, which led to the first human casualty. Yamagishi facilitating the tragedy that was about to unfold had me glued to the screen. I don't really blame him since parasites could kill them with a blink of an eye. |

Sorry to say, but there isn't much material left. the anime is currently on chapter 55/64. In other words there is only 9,5 chapters left to animate. That means 2,3 chapters per ep. Since it's so less material left, I think these 4 last ep. will be the last thing we will see of this series. Unless the animation studio want to make another season with a different ending, that i highly doubt. But what's positive is that there is always room for a OVA if we are lucky. :) |

| Damn, what an amazing episode, and Shinichi was barely even in it. Yeah, at one point i did feel sympathy towards the parasites, but come on - at the end of the day they still kill and eat humans. It's unfortunate that some humans acted as sacrifices, but there's always a cost. I really like the captain, he's one of those determined, results-trump-the-means-needed-to-achieve them type of people. The only thing i didn't like in this episode was all the soldiers actually following Gotou for no real reason. He is strong, but realistically he's still no match for 21st century weaponry. There are alot of ways to kill him, but no one except Shinichi knows that he's different from the other parasites anyway. Can't wait to see what happens to Hirokawa. 4.5/5 |

| One of the best episodes in a while. The reason for me is that it didn't have Murano in it whining about something. Lots of action....no Murano....some very dark humor. Yes indeed, a very nice episode. |

| Oh shit damn. Is it me or the parasytes have been working together for the survival of their species? What I mean by that is that the that girl who asked to be escorted out of the place, she basically sacrified herself for the greater good of her species. She had near to zero chance to get out of there alive, but her move basically created the chaos the parasytes needed to have a chance of survival out of this mess. I don't think we saw a parasyte, excepted of Reiko, do somethink suicidary. Anyway, that episode was brutal as fuck. Everyone was so pragmatic, even Shinichi. Just imagine him standing there and listening to all those screams, that must have been awful... That tank guy... Is he invincible or what?!? He received bullet right in his chest, yet, it did nothing. Does he have even one part being human? How can you kill that? I know... Flamethrower!! :D |

| Is it me or was there a slight similarity to the Chimera Ant arc from Hunter x Hunter? You get to a point where you feel one predator is fighting another predator over territory. I am so glad the person who created this manga took the story in this direction instead of the typical humans are good, parasites are bad angle. |

| Really bad execution. This was supposed to be an intense battle, is the climax of the war between humans and parasites. In the manga, this was quite something. Here it was very slow. Also I'm tired of this "end in a cliffhanger" pace. They should have included Hirokawa scene in this episode. |
