According to the novel, Chloe can manipulate air currents to make that illusion. Who cares about the science lol. |
| Lol, I love how everyone pretty much agrees that this one OVA really was better than all of season 2. Actually, it was better than the BOTH seasons combined. EXCELLENT fan service with good action scenes and Ichika was no where near as unbearable as he usually is. This was actually pretty damn good. | OVA > Season 2 by a mile. Also Laura in the apron was all I needed to see to be happy. Add some good times with Charlotte and you have me very pleased to say the least. Some plot progression was nice, it makes me more intrigued, and wanting a S3 for this. |

| So I'm gonna take a moment to list some differences/omissions between this OVA and the novel. The bread that Chloe cooked for Tabane at the beginning was burned. Really badly. Well, that's what happens when you try to cook with your eyes closed. Still, Tabane's such a nutjob that she eats it all and she really thinks it's delicious. The female researcher, Kagaribi, who was working on Ichika's suit at the R&D facility was actually a classmate of Chifuyu and Tabane. However, she is not their friend. She implies it's because Tabane is too much to handle. Earlier, I mentioned there is a scene in the ending where Chifuyu releases the American pilot from her custody. The novel identifies the Americans as an ultra-black ops squad that possesses absolutely no identifying marks. The IS suit they use is a stealth version of the 'Fang Quake' model that was only seen in Volume 6 of the books. The normal 'Fang Quake' has a tiger stripe paint job, but this one is painted more like a stealth bomber. The 'Fang Quake' is an American copy of Rin's 'Shenlong.' (Please take a moment to lol at America copying a Chinese design) More details on how Tatenashi fights the Americans. She scattered her IS's nanomachines throughout the hallway, which is how she picked up on their stealth cloaks. In the novel, she used her nanos to create four false Tatenashis to fight them. When the girls initially enter the computer world, they're in a bright forest wearing the same dress that "Alice in Wonderland" wore and a rabbit dressed in a suit appears. They chase the rabbit-man to a clearing with five doors, which is how they end up in their respective fantasies. Funny moment: Charlotte calls Laura a bunny, and she denies it, saying "Not a bunny, a BLACK HARE!" So basically, all those scenes in the OVA that look they take place in space with five doors? In the novel, it's supposed to be a virtual forest. The part when Tatenashi gets shot, the reason why she survives is because the U.S. troops actually administer first aid and morphine to her. They wanted to capture her and her IS and take them back to base. During the part where Maya shoots the living shit out of the 'Fang Quake', Chifuyu is drinking coffee and casually talking with Maya about how bad her coffee is while bullet casings are flying by her. The OVA does the battle between Chifuyu and the 'Fang Quake' not in the order the book does. In fact, Chifuyu and Maya have already destroyed the IS and captured the pilot by the time Ichika comes back to the Academy. When Ichika has to enter the World Purge, he gets tasered by Kanzashi and then put in the machine lol. When Ichika saves Rin from his fake, in the OVA he just punches the guy. In the novel, he hugs Rin tight, and Rin uses her IS cannons to vaporize the fake. Now, after he saves Rin, the World Purge virus adapts itself to lock Ichika out of the other girls' fantasies. The answer to get around this is that Kanzashi tells Ichika to wear disguises. From then, whenever Ichika shows up to rescue the girls from his fake self, in all instances he's wearing some kind of disguise that obscures his face. In Cecilia's fantasy, he was wearing an SAS officer's uniform and gas mask. In Charlotte's fantasy, he's dressed like Tuxedo Mask (a gentleman thief). In Laura's fantasy, he was wearing a knight's armor. So in Cecilia's fantasy, he kills the fake by shooting him in the face with a handgun. Kanzashi gets really jealous a lot more noticeably in the novel. In Charlotte's fantasy, when Ichika shows up as a kaitou, Charlotte freaks and she's the one who grabs a sword to try to kill him. However, real Ichika calls her "Charl" which she realizes fake Ichika always uses her full name. So she cuts off the fake's head. This kinda freaks real Ichika out lol. After Charlotte gets pissed at Ichika for seeing her naked, she actually makes him promise to take her on a date to a theme park. Fun fact about Laura's fantasy: the newspaper she's reading is an article about "the changing situation in the Middle East." So tell me: is she reading about IS Infinite Stratos or IS Islamic State? lol When real Ichika shows up in knight armor to save her, Laura grabs a meat cleaver to fight him. She actually knocks him down and is about to finish him, but then fake Ichika says "Do your best Laura" over and over again which morphs into "fight and kill" which freaks Laura out and gives real Ichika a chance to kill the fake. In the OVA, after that, Laura is just asleep when Ichika calls her "Sleeping Beauty." But in the novel, she's awake and she hears it, and she starts going into a furious denial of how she totally doesn't want to be married to him, raising a happy family, with three children. Um, yeah. The Houki fantasy was more or less the same, but the way Ichika gets Houki to realize he's the real deal is when after losing 27 times to the fake, he more or less says "screw it", runs up to Houki, grabs her tits and calls her name. Then he yells at the fake to go away and it vanishes haha. At the cafe confrontation scene between Chloe and Chifuyu, I noticed that the sword cane Chloe had was an OVA only thing. She was unarmed in the novel. I mentioned earlier there's a scene in the ending where Chifuyu releases the American pilot she captured and tells her to go back to base. Then she stands in front of Kurezakura and thinks to herself, "If you ever have to awaken, it'll definitely be the final battle." I think that covers everything. Chapter 1 of the volume was pure filler that the OVA didn't bother to cover, where the girls test out a UN-developed suit called the Extended Operation Seeker that is a complete joke compared to an IS. |

| Fanservice was great. Action was good. And some actual plot near the end. So now we know who taht character is. Her name is Chloe Chronicle and she's related to Laura too. Also she's a bio IS. What is Tabane doing? I'm sure that she's evil now. She's hiding it behind that face that always smiles. Hope we get a season 3 sometime soon. |

| As Someone said earlier, This OVA was better than the whole 2nd season. It made me loved Ling, Charlotte and Cecilia a whole lot more.. Ling was just friggin adorable when she was blushing. Cecilia, uff loved that bath scene. Saw a nipple there. I'm satisfied. Charlotte in a maid outfit, fell in love with her now lol Laura, sexy as fuck naked with just the apron. found it funny she called Itchka as her wife lol. Houki was kinda dissapointed but she had a nice dream like the rest of the girls want. get married, have a family. cute. They even managed to squeeze in some action. great ep 9/10 |

| Well that was nice. Everyone had their own fantasies, and thats all good and everything But the highlight was by far Chifuyu finally fighting. She is pretty brutal in a battle, and by the end of the OVA she had me even scared. Katana is her real name. If we ever get more IS I'm sure she will be in the forefront of girls vying for Ichika |

| Too bad, Houki got zero fanservice. First time main girl didn't get the most fanservice, instead the reverse happened. Oh well, I am happy for Charlotte and esp. Ling. She is my favorite and she got the most fanservice, banzai |

| Ok, well finally got around to watching this. Too bad it was with commie's fucking memer subs. I may have stage II cancer now, but at least I got to watch the OVA. There was a good bit of fanservice, but overall I thought it was a bit lacking. We only got 1 Rin nipple, some Cecilia nips, and a slight Tatenashi nip. Meanwhile Charlotte was in sexy underwear, but no full service. Laura in an apron butt naked, but no full service. And Houki was basically non-existent. The other thing that surprised me was no real fanservice until the 2nd half. We had the super long stripping and getting into the bath moment by Cecilia, but only got full boobs when fake Ichika showed up in the second half. Same with Rin. Chifuyu was fucking badass, and so was Maya, especially since that's the first time Maya piloted an IS for realsies. I wonder if that girl in the research lab, Kagaribi, will end up becoming a more prominent character or if she was a one time thing. After going through the comments, I'm surprised that this ended up catching up to the LNs because parts of this shit felt like the calm before the storm, like a prelude to a new season. We had an obvious conflict between Tabane and Chifuyu. Tabane had the new girl, Chloe Chronicle, hack the school and use the World Purge program, but was secretly after a core? Idk what the core was for, the IS data system maybe? I might've missed it. But apparently the core of the system is Chifuyu's IS unit, which is a humanoid? Like woah, fucking plot bomb dropped there. I couldn't make sense of any of that. Whatever it was, Tabane made it clear she wanted it, and Chifuyu made it clear that she wants it to stay where it is, and wants Tabane to stay the fuck away. So basically what we got thrown at us was: - Core of the IS data network actually being Chifuyu's IS unit core which has a human form. - Tabane having some secret plan involving said core. - Chifuyu not wanting Tabane to get involved. - New girl Chloe Chronicle, is Laura's fucking sister. But she seems to not be entirely human. I think Chifuyu mentioned something about a biological IS. - Other governments attempting to steal the unmanned IS cores. Hurry LNs!! Come out so we can get a season 3! |

And even so, what would you get from this? All the girls pretty much acted the same, gasping and being shy. All the personality, which people love them for, would be gone. Chifuyu was pretty badass in this episode, especially wearing that suit. Great action and I like to think that virtual reality thing made girl's feeling more stronger then it should. They like the dream they are having but I don't think everyone wants that assertive Ichika. He is pretty much player with mind set on one thing. Or the girls are that horny XD This episode made me appreciate Ichika a lot. When you look a various protagonists, they are mostly bored out of their mind and do not enjoy the change of pace that much. Whenever I see Ichika he is always full of enthusiasm. He was smiling while fishing. The guy truly enjoys everything. He saved those girls in a nick of time and thumbs up for that. This OVA was really good. If they keep things with this level I would very much like a season 3. ˇˇ P.S. Lol at the ending, Laura is holding down her apron while running XD |

| I don't even know what's going on. More than 2 years since I've watched the second season. I got here for the fanservice and was disappointed because it's very minimal. I can't even compare this to the second or first season because I barely remember them lol |
