I have way many more posts than necessary which proves that I am an active member. In fact, I do visit and stay on MAL for a considerable amount of time daily. I use this time to help other clubs too. I have admined five clubs with this position although that has gone back to three because of activity. I believe all of them should be able to give you a reference if needed. I have a firm certainty that I do have the required level of English. I have been learning since the age of five or six. Although it is no doubt true that I make mistakes too. I still have a lot to go to be of a native level. As for the requirement necessary for the position, I have experience of more than a year, which I am very well aware, is something not very much of adoration. I have also participated a few official contest here and also managed to take places twice in a row. Why are you suitable for the role you applied for: I am dedicated to graphics design in itself despite not having that much experience as mentioned before. I also aim to be a professional in real-life so I think I do have the necessary kind of motivation to be able to fulfill this postion in a proper way. What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: I can bring various layout designs at least bimonthly if demanded then every now and then monthly. Regarding the optional role, I will surely try my utmost to help members around if they need guidance. What are your skill sets: My main feature I am proud of is that I am innovative and rather creative. I am not afraid of applying new or unknown things on my designs. However, I still attempt to keep up my own quality. I do not have hard feelings for critism either because those should come along with compliments, if any, as long as they are for the better. Why do you want to join: After our joint work in this year's Summer Festival, I started looking towards your club. I find your staff and whole club really disciplined which is quite rare for clubs. I would like to learn this attitude from you as well as trying to help you with what you need and with what I can do. What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: I have experience in webdesign and graphics - I had a website myself, and started working with Photoshop about 10 years ago. So I know how to handle BBCode, and I'm pretty good when it comes to structuring and formatting texts. I've never been a forum staff member, but I used to be a card maker for an online TCG. I also have a bit of experience when it comes to hosting, so I could jump in when there's a need for a co-host. Generally speaking, I'm a diplomatic person who can handle conflicts quite well. I think I have a variety of skill sets (x3), and I don't mind helping out here and there, wherever you need help. |

I do wish to make more friends as time passes on (Feel free to talk to me). With that, I also hope to design more and more for this club, to feel apart of the family that was gathered in the club. As to more of a personal level, I also would like to ventured into different types of artstyle from different request from people, as I do have a particular artstyle that I'm used to. (sort of dark and mystical) What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: I have both experiences with game designing and graphic design in real life. I can bring myself to help the club by making banners/cards/any form of graphical designs through photoshop and what not. In terms of game designs (though do provide me a few months, as I'm currently partaking in my internship too) I can also create a simple game for the club but I do need a few members with me. In terms of game hosting, as a game developer, I have a few games under my belt made by me. Although I haven't made a forum game in mafia society, I did made a roleplay based on the movie "saw" in my past (though the website is down, and all is lost.) I also can help with co hosting because of my experience. I would also love to make more future games for the club too. | Username: SoulEaterQUEEN Position: Other - Event Planner Do you meet the requirements: Yes to all but the bonus. Why do you want to join: I've realized that I have fallen in love with the club. I come to the club everyday trying to make sure to keep up with the posts; I never want to miss anything. I care a lot about everyone, and everything that this club represents, due to this, the club has became my only home. I want to do whatever, I can to help bring more people here, and feeling the same way as me. What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: I want to be more involved with the events, and my personality lets me brew up ideas with a lot of energy. I hope to get more people involved in participating with events, and to attract newcomers. I have already thought up of some ideas: Organized SW, could be once a week, a few times in a month, depends what people want. Finding new mini game threads to keep non-forum mafia players entertained/coming to visit the club more often. Anime watch challenge (mini) to get more people involved in the basic anime watching activity to drum up more discussions/interest as well. Multiplayer gaming events - be it on steam, or whatever you game with, if this something that others are interested in. Bigger events like Valentine's day; already want to do a matchmaker event for next year. While I am not busy with planning events, I would be willing to have secondary duties such as handing out newsletters, and updating the truth or dare thread. Skills that I have that may be beneficial for this position: I communicate very well with others in a positive way. I am pretty approachable, so any suggestions members have, or feedback I would make sure it was well received/encouraged. I use to be in a more leadership role when I played online games with other people, I helped planned events like SW/Karaoke nights that were done outside of game contexts. I also planned events with friends, movie nights, dinners, BBQs, gaming parties, etc. I only know basic BBC code, but I am always willing to learn more to help improve my duties. |

| Username: Zymf Position: Other (/Game Manager) Do you meet the requirements: Yes Why do you want to join: As you probably know, I LOOOOOVE designing new games and I've noticed that there are coming more and more interesting Mini/Misc games in the Game Queue. I don't exactly have enough time to host and actively participate in all of the games I want to + The Game Queues are always very long with other hosts wanting to host their games. Therefore I'd like to be someone that people can contact if they need help with their setup or need a co-host. I always check when there are new posts in the Game Queue, so I could double as a Game Manager if needed (though you don't seem to be in need for any of those atm) What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: I've been part of Mafia Society for quite some time now, so you should already know about my strengths and weaknesses when it comes to managing games. I'm very good at Game Balancing and coming up with new ideas. I also have quite a lot of experience in figuring out which game mechanics work and which simply doesn't. However, sometimes I'm a bit busy with IRL which results in small mistakes or delayed phase changes :/ Edit: On further inspection, that's exactly what a Game Manager does, so I guess "Other" is not the correct category xD |

| Username: Tingle Position: Graphic Designer Do you meet the requirements: lol yes. have been a staffy here before ;) Why do you want to join: I really missed this place in my break, and it's about time I came back and made some graphics for ya'll ^^ And Senpai has been nagging me to come back since the day I left xP I just realized that I joined staff because of him in the first place. I once again want to stimulate myself to practice and become better in this job. What can you bring to Mafia Society if you join: "A jolly baka" gosh I was sucha weeb. ;) Anyway, I am still quite cheerful, but have learned to have a serious and objective view on issues and problems that might occur in the club. Activity had dropped when I first joined staff and now this has occurred once again, so I am motivated in stimulating everyone to keep playing and keep enjoying the games we provide to them. Anyway. #Tingle2016 Example Works: Here is some of the stuff I've done for this club and other clubs in the past. I haven't made graphics for other eyes to see in a while, and I'm not planning on showing that stuff as it are strange edits I made of my friends as vegetables and stuff. So you'll just have to deal with the stuff you've already laid your eyes on before. |
