@Farabeuf not really. Having a lack of action means nothing if it doesn't build towards a grand narrative. The poll results show this season to be a massive disappointment relative to the hype. This isn't a show where sakuga alone can carry it unlike jjk amd kny. And we haven't had big twists.

| @SpiderMiles3523 It happened with the actual ratings of shows loads with it being bombed with 1s and 10s (especially whenever shows were close to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood's rating at the time well before the Frieren anime was a thing), but mal did implement a system for that. That dont work with polls though from what I know, those are susceptible to bot accounts spamming 1s to skew ratings and make it look bad, especially for a series like MT. It sucks since the episodes this cour have done nothing to deserve what its getting to this degree but cant control it. |

| @Rukasumi They dont have planes, regular cars? Carts with horses can only take them so far to get to a different continent. Have to traverse through some difficult or exhausting areas that they have to walk through? Hell the Dead End trio took 2-3 years one-way to go from Demon Continent to Fittoa lol. |

| I thought the right choice was obvious from the get go, Zanoba is absolutely right, Rudeus' will be born whether he's there or not. Anyway, when Sylphy announced her pregnancy, for some reason I was reminded of Frieren cause you know they're both elves. She will outlive everyone. |

| From a logical standpoint it seems weird for Rudy to leave his family for at least one year just when Sylphie is pregnant. On the other hand a little bit of adventure might do good for the story as a whole. |
| I guess, at least the turning point wasn't force by some BS tornado or mass scale teleportation. It's a decision he had to take. It sucks that the journey to get there alone is a year long. And just like Zanoba put it, children will still grow if they father isn't around and watching. |
| Could this "Turning Point 3" be one that alters the main "story line" of the World as possibly the main story has Paul and his entourage failing to help and save Zenith without Rudeus help, could it get him into trouble? |

| Etiher the anime didn't depict this very well, or I forgot what the anime was like. However, in the novel, the whole chapter was focusing on regrets. Among his acquaintances, Nanahoshi was the last one Rudy met, which means Rudy was under the anticipation that the journey would take 18 months up to 2 years when he bade farewell to other people. When Cliff was made aware of the news, Cliff regretted that he didn't build up enough experience on adventuring that he wasn't able to go alongside Elinalise. When Rinia and Pursena heard the news from Rudy, they thought they may never meet Rudy again because they would have graduated before Rudy returned. Also Nanahoshi was way more stylish in the novel.  |
| There are so many red flags, I can't even count them all. The biggest one would be the words Sylphie said about elves' tough childbirth which clearly wasn't meant as red herring and was mentioned for reason. In other words, in his absence, chances are she will deliver the child but the price would be her own life. That's why Hitogami said he will regret it. (it's also the only way his relationship with the last girl can ever start) I was still pretty curious about the part which mentioned cheating with one of catgirls but that would probably only happened if he didn't go on the journey. Or maybe it will still happen in the future. Still, Hitogami only told him what he needed to hear. I'm prety sure telling him to not go to Begaritt continent had the opposite effect on him and made his decision clear. Or do you think Hitogami can be his future self guiding him all along? |
