| To be honest I was completely lost with this episode, like I missed 3 episodes in between. Aside from that the fast pacing was nearly terrible, bats - new girl - old party bullied her - slave ritual - Turtle of something - strange woman appears - end. Still I am a fan, but I won't expect it to be better than season one |

| Didn't take long for the show to remind me how awful the supporting cast and antagonists are, with that whole "we kicked you out cause you are weak" shtick. We do get a mysterious hooded lady at the end, so who knows what the coming arc has in store for us. The show is starving for any decent background characters. I hope the disinterest those 3 other heroes mean we actually get some new characters introduced. We were also introduced to some character from another world at the end of last season, hopefully they come back soon |

| Alright shield bros back with all of his awesome party members still intact. Even if my previous watch of the first season only in one year gap, i feel like i've been watching this since the first air date because i am so forgetful about the world building of this anime. But first thing first, welcome back the adventure of the shield hero, and sure i already interesting to know what can of story of the adventure they wanna wrap up this time. Giant spirit tortoise? HanaKana? Green-haired girl become Naofumi slave? Project- Bitc- Anyway, once again, and for last, welcome back, raising of the shield hero! |

| The wave concept wasn't very interesting to begin with but now they pause it because of something else occurring. Almost feels like watching the start of a filler arc. Hopefully the new girl improves because she seems like a real major pain. |

| I can't stand the other heroes. They have made them too stupid and annoying. I understand the story is about the shield hero and they have to make him look good but it's too much. One of my biggest complaints in season 1 and it looks like it won't be changing at all. |

| Rishia is the worst so far, She can't stop talking about Itsuki Naofumi should have just kicked her out of his own party the moment she made it clear that she only want to get strong so that Itsuki can look up to her matter of fact he shouldn't have welcomed her and should have treated her the same way he treated Melty when she asked to join him when Naofumi \saw Rishia Crying over the fact that she was kicked out of Itsuki party he should have just said: Oh poor you, well hope you have a good day anyways and just walk away |

| Quite alright episode with nice pacing and interesting introduction to the new arc, ending with a nice cliffhanger. However, there were few things I did not like about it. While I forgot many things about Shield Hero's first season, I remembered the most important themes or character traits of the most important characters. That's why I couldn't understand why Raphtalia, somebody so much damaged by slave trading business in the past, suffering from trauma and reacting with aggression pretty much each time she saw any trace of that kind of actions in season 1, was so enthusiastic about not only bringing Rishia to that guy capable of preparing contract to bind somebody to someone as their slave, but she smiled, was kind, and even encouraged Rishia about how it's beneficial for a warrior to become a slave of one of heroes. It was just odd. While Rishia seemed to be fine in season 1, or rather not good, but not bad (at least for that short time we were able to see her), in season 2 she seems to be one of characters that I will start disliking pretty fast. Selfish, annoying crybaby, ungrateful to Naofumi and focused only on returning to Itsuki (after leveling up enough under Naofumi and others' guidance, that is). |

| When did the green girl join the party again? I legit forgot she even existed. She's almost as annoying as the 3 clown heroes, she better go back to Itsuki by the end of the season. I was hoping they would ditch the MADKID songs for the OP this time, they're really out of place in this anime. |

| trash heroes i'm interested in why Rishia cares about the trashy bow guy so much, i dont remember much from the manga but even then, the manga misses quite a bit of info from the novel |

| Phew.. That was rushed. The pacing is all over the place. And at the same time it was... boring? I remember watching the last ep of the last season thinking "oh boy they are going to be ded soon with this timer!" and then BOOM okay the timer stops lets kill a tortoise. The way they portrait it in the show feels immensely rushed imo. Keeping expectations low tbh |

| unentertaining, no buildup, bad looking fights, not a good looking OP, obvious cgi. I am going to watch it to the end. Called this hype bubble bursting, and now this show is in the mal 7's. If the op and first episode ain't impressing people, it probably isn't getting better. Shield Hero I doubt will attract the shonen viewers for this season. |
| Finally season 2 ! But this first ep was not really "wow !" to get back in, a normal episode, it straight up continue after the last ep of season 1 And, my bad, Its been so long so I dont remember all characters, especially Liscia, who is she and why obsessed with the bow hero ? I dont really like her for now =/ The return of the worst girl ever, yeah no comment, I hope we dont see her too much ! And the other heroes, totally useless again, they went "Well Im out" Then Naofumi use his ultimate shield right at the start ? I think its just to remember us he have that xD |

| The green-haired girl needs to keep "Itsuki-sama" out of her mouth! I don't really mind her being a klutz but it's quite annoying that she keeps blabbing about the useless Bow Hero when the jerk abandoned her for being weak. Naofumi is surprisingly patient with her. |

| After over 2 years it's finally back and 3 brain cells heroes are still 3 brain cells. Amazing indeed. But yeah my main reason for watching this is definitely milf queen. |

| Almost 3 years after seeing the last season and 2 years into the global pandemic now, I've forgotten some of the side characters or maybe I'm just friggin' old now? LOL Like MMORPG if the Waves are major event stories then maybe the Spirit Tortoise is a side event story/quest... Itsuki-sama this, Itsuki-sama that, ughh it's only the first episode of the second season and despite her resolve to get a slave crest under Naofumi, I'm getting annoyed at Rishia. |
