| It's the classic bait and switch in isekai. Early chapters we see the MC kill his enemies but later on the author conveniently forget that he's an assassin and he writes MC where he let his enemies escape. In the manga he literally let the abuser get away. He didn't even kill his bodyguards. |

| Yes the mastermind was caught but lol MC is an assassin yes they have a creed to not take life lightly but it's still feels unsatisfying to see the abusers sweep under the rug. And to see the girls in the next episode become salesclerk as if nothing had happened makes me feel sick. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. Dropped. |

| I dont mind darker stuff in my anime but honestly in rather light hearted shows like this its just out of place. This shit is supposed to be for teens. This is just drama jerking. Also why is it always kids man. Why do they always have to be children.. So they spend the entire episode beeing dark and edgy and then they cant even give us the satisfaction of having the "assassin" kill the bad guys? Bruh he let some random women from death row bleed to death but this is the line? And this is supposed to look like a happy end just because Maha was spared what the other kids had to endure for 2 years? I mean I can appreciate how well this was written up to that point, it was actually unnerving, something anime rarely manages especially in a show like this it comes as a surprise. But thats also exactly why the payoff is garbage. PS: It just hit me, the entire episode is spend cementing Maha as the center of the group and after all that she just leaves them behind? Bruh thats even darker than I first thought |

| Episode one and two still maintain the best animation. This wasn't that poor though. Decent fight transitions on taking down the trafficker. Sad that he didn't execute them right then there. But seeing her do a catwoman off the balcony was solid. |

Take this revenge plot of this anime for example , is this a new trend for almost every revenge plot to always put rape scenes or scene that a girl was recently raped . | Re-Watching this show right now, and I remember how I liked this show because it wasn't afraid to go to the dark place with the characters. That said, this episode was far from being perfect. The ending pay-off wasn't good enough. Suffice it to say, I think most of us wanted to see the criminals dead, tortured to death preferably. Seems like they got arrested only and in such medieval corrupt society, that arrest won't last for long (realistically). Oh well, still a good episode with dark tone most Isekai shows shy away from. PS: To those saying that MC was being undercover and shit. You serious? He was out there expertly taking down two adults effortlessly by himself. You don't think those two said anything to anyone about it? Seems like sloppy writing at the end, with writer blowing his load in first half but not figuring out how to end it properly, leading to the disappointing end of the episode. |
