| I'm pretty sure Sarada is the child of Sasuke and Karin. This gives Kishimoto a chance to preach the message that family does not have to be related by blood to be family (although this is a terrible way to go about it with it), therefore creating a contrast with Orochimaru's experiments about genetics (nature) trumping choices (nurture). Sasuke wasn't cheating on Sakura though. He's not even the type that seems interested in sex despite his need to revive the Uchiha clan. I have two theories: 1) Sarada was an experiment created by fusing Karin's and Sasuke's DNA together because the combined Uzumaki and Uchiha genes would create a powerful child. 2) Sarada was the product of Karin unknowingly procreating with a Sasuke clone (as Sakura Hiden has one of them flirting with Sakura). Basically, rape by deception. |
