| @xCrylo Yeah I'm surprised by the ratings too, I thought this would easily be an 8 considering how other anime are rated. I like your pairings, I disagree a bit on the fact that Miuna has become more independent as we've only seen a good minute of her that's a big assumption. The most disappointing and slightly annoying thing is how all/maybe most the characters like someone who doesn't like them back. |
| Idk how to feel, i really wanted Manaka x Hikari, but now Miuna and Hikari seems the most likley. I feel like Hikari x Miuna will end up happening, the out of nowhere Manaka will just show up. |
| i was surprised of the timeskip, i was expecting the next episode to continue where it left off, but i guess not. and why is everyone shipping miuna with hikari? i don't understand that. that's his niece i don't think he'd feel anything for her besides family love. besides, we're not sure if manaka is officially gone. she might come back, and i remember her saying that she wanted to tell hikari something. i'm sure it was a confession. but hey, i might be wrong. |
| looks like chisaki stayed? first off, just with the op it's pretty obvious that there are going to be miuna / hikari feelings everything starts off really cute i think they did a really good job with the time skip designs, the changes really subtle but you can tell the characters are older and have changed a bit. wow these chisaki / tsumugu feelings are growing. you know when i first looked at the anime poster i was definitely not prepared for emotional damage. ALSO WHERE IS KANAME. I AM ANGRY. WHERE IS KANAME. KANAME DEFENSE SQUAD. |
| 5 years passed, Everyone was Aged and Changed, and Hikari who frozen age due Hibernation wake up in Sadness because she Failed to save Manaka. Glad Hikari was saved but still depressing episode. :'( waiting the next story~ |

| Wow. Just wow. Five years. Age differences. I have to say I was expecting time skip but the way they did it was the best. Love polygon is now officially broken and now one arises (Miyuna is now same age as Hikari). Tsumugu is old whereas Manaka is young. Chisaki is old whereas Hikari is young. Dat consequences. I wonder if others are waking up even later. And Manaka waking up the last? Oh well - one thing I have to say - adult Chisaki is looking so hot! :) |

| Wow. All those feels. I actually felt for Tsumugu finally, you could tell it's killing him to live with Chisaki while she thinks primarily of the others. That and Miuna's situation are the most interesting to me going forward. Kaname x Sayu is pretty much a lock, though I wonder when he'll come back. Goodness, that ending was just executed so damn well. |

| OMG. No freaking way. This is amazing! I absolutely love time skips - that's why I love manga like BgI and NANA. I'm happy that Chisaki stayed on the surface. It sucks a bit for her, but it adds an interesting complication to the story, and I absolutely love how close she's gotten to Tsumugu. It's beautiful that he still respects her love for Hikari though, even though Tsumugu clearly likes Chisaki, and really, always has. Poor Tsumugu. Chisaki should really love him. :) I'll always be a Tsumugu x Chisaki fan. Seriously. They work so well together, and I consider myself a lot like Chisaki - I think too much, just like her. I know I would do well with someone more straightforward like Tsumugu. Anyways. Wow. This is awkward for Hikari. Well, since he's still in junior high like Miuna, I guess their romance will work out? ;D That's just wrong though. Miuna loving her uncle >_< Gah, but it's real now. Poor kid she rejected. I'm kinda set with these relationships for the end: Hikari x Manaka Tsumugu x Chisaki And then poor Miuna and Kaname are left over. I wonder if Kaname showed up with Hikari, though. When Kaname learns that Chisaki and Tsumugu stayed together, I think he'll be pissed. Well, not pissed. xD Just hurt. Because them hugging that was literally the last thing his eyes saw before he fell over >__> WELLL, he's gotta deal with it, because that is my OTP this season ahaha. I just cannot wait for the next episode, kyaa <3 The last time we had a great timeskip was all the way back in Shinsekai Yori, so I can't wait to see what Nagi no Asukara does with this timeskip! |

| What...why did episode end ;_; i want more, come on. I feel so bad for Miuna and Tsumugu tho.Well, more for Miuna who will probably end up alone when Manaka magically shows up.Tsumugu will probably end up with Chisaki, and Kaname with Sayu.At least thats what i think. Anyways, after first episode of this show i rated it 6/10.13 episodes after, it went up to 9/10, just too awesome. |

| Took me a while to figure out there was a time-skip, right when the guy driving mentioned Egawa getting someone pregnant, so I thought to myself "Talk of middle school kids doing it...on a PG13 anime that's going to be aired on TV? Impossibru. Some significant amount of time must have passed" I was expecting Hikari to punch through the ice like a zombie clawing out of it's grave. A bit disappointed. Also, why did he have to be naked? Did the sea god or the sea strip him before putting him in cold-sleep? Because if that's the case, there's going to be a lot of naked people waking up in that village eventually. Was hoping he had aged along with everyone else, like a person in a coma rather than someone cryogenically frozen. Because now, although he is just as old as Tsumugu, Hikari's still mentally and physically a middle school kid when he should be a college kid. That makes it more awkward with him being the same as Miuna, and will probably be attending school with her, also being a potential love interest despite technically being her uncle (Is that legal? Even by marriage or distantly related?)...not that it's unheard of, since I myself am in the same age group as my uncle and aunt. I hope the rest of them start to wake up in the next episode...hopefully clothed, because if they aren't, then Hikari has no damn reason to be naked! Almost forgot to mention it, but that Akira kid needs a smack in the head. I don't know what Japan's cultural viewpoint towards this act of sexual assault is, but if they deem it to be innocent mischief, then it's still messed up regardless. And yes, it's sexual assault, not harassment. I see it as no different than kicking a pregnant woman in the stomach. Or imagine poking someone in the ass that has hemorrhoids. There would be a lot of pain, blood, and fecal matter. Don't even try to play the "he's too young to know any better" BS card with me, because whatever his parents are doing to teach him he shouldn't do it, they're obviously not strict enough. I hope Akari eventually turns into the stereotypical large, loud, and husky mother with a stick seemingly glued to her hand ready to give anyone a spanking at any given time while screaming at the top of her lungs "Get back here you damn kids!". But seeing as how this show is okay with showing the full ass of naked young boys of TV (Tsumugu even covered him with his jacket, but they made him not even use it!)...I don't think this is going to happen within this lifetime. I'm beginning to think this show was made for a primarily female audience. |

| Well, I feel bad for Kaname, poor kid never got the chance. the op makes so feel so awkward how Kaname is so small compared to Chisaki. I was kinda rooting for the Manaka and Tsumugu boat, but the last few episodes kind of made me feel that she was too bright or distant from him. And now I there's like no hope for the pairing. ; 7 ; Now that Manaka is temporarily out of the picture while everyone is back, there's a lot of room for dramatic development hur. Does anyone know why Manaka has fins, while no one else seems to btw? ' 3 ' |
| Wow. A lot of things has changed, like from the visual they revealed. Can't wait to see how Hikari will get by. With Hikari's body in about the same age as Miuna, looks like they would be paired from what I see... and Chisaki and Tsumugu... really loving their pairing now, since they are the once who grew up together after all. |

| Wow! I was so blown away by the time skip! Like I knew it was bound to happen but for things to have turned out this way was just shocking! Chisaki getting left behind and getting taken in my Tsumugu and his grandpa was something I did not see coming at all! Their relationship has evolved a lot and I'm pretty sure Tsumugu loves her now even though she loves Hikari but omg it doesn't stop there, Hikari comes back and is still like 13!! Wtf is she going to do now? And Miuna who still loves him just happens to be his age now however he is still like her uncle! Haha things couldn't get any more interesting then this. This is by far the biggest love polygon I have ever seen in any anime ever! Can't wait for next week xD |

| I still hate chisaki(or maybe it's just tsumugu or both)...can't believe that she actually agreed to stay w/ tsumugu's house after a month/year of the ofu something But deym this episode is epic.... the most important part is the freaking opening!! I can't help but think that the one who catches the umbrella is manaka!! lol |

| Woah, all them feels just come popping right back up. I totally expected a time-skip, but I was thinking maybe one or two years.... but FIVE?!?! Oh well.... at least that clears up a lot of the unresolved love angles somewhat. Everyone seems to be on about Chisaki still having feelings for Hikari, but I think the one holding her back from any type of relationship is actually Kaname. Think about it, the guy confessed to you three times, you watch him get tossed into the sea and go missing for five years. Like I mentioned in my long-ass psycho-analysis in last episode's thread, the Hikari x Chisaki ship has already sunk since Ep 12. But man... I still can't get over the five year time skip.... right now it seems like a lot of the love lines are being set into stone. Hikari x Manaka is the most likely pairing of all of those. Why? Because he's the first in the long line of Sea People descendants, technically the next leader who has to continue the traditional bloodline of the Sea peps. If the Sea God ain't gonna let go of Manaka, he sure as heck won't let go of Hikari (Asian traditional thinking of how the male heir has to pass on the bloodline or something like that). In the end Hikari's feelings for Manaka are still too strong, I doubt even Miuna will be able to break that bond. It will be an interesting triangle to watch for the second half of the season though. Chisaki x Tsumugu pairing was just like I predicted (I rule, lol). Survivors guilt will make it so they don't do nothing until certain feels are resolved. Chisaki is in my opinion totally over Hikari. If, and I say this only because it hasn't happened yet, Kaname returns, we will get a crazy ass triangle where Kaname is at a huge disadvantage. 5 years of cohabitation is nothing to be sniffed at. Plus, Chisaki has already adapted to living on the surface world. To me, it would make no sense for her to return to the Sea Village any more, and in the eventuality that Kaname resurfaces like Hikari, Chisaki will then be resolved of her survivors guilt, and given the time-skip/hibernation effect leaving Kaname 5 years in the past, it will be even harder for Kaname and Chisaki to get together (not saying impossible just yet though), even if Kaname puts in all the time and effort to catch up to Chisaki, and even if Chisaki does feel responsible for Kaname falling into the water and stuff. In my opinion though, the long-ass time skip effectively ended Kaname's chances. I totally feel for the guy, because he really was the most mature of the bunch and I was rooting for him. Given he's not the heir of the Sea Village or anything, I think its possible Kaname'll either develop feelings for Sayu, or he'll end up as the forever alone best friend who gets the short end of the stick and goes back to the Sea Village because he won't be able to stand being in close proximity to the Chisaki x Tsumugu pairing. As for Miuna, I think the second arc of this series will be all her trying to win Hikari over, losing the battle and then end up with her going out with the kid who confessed to her just now, or something like that. She may have been the star of this episode, but mark my words, she ain't anywhere close to getting with Hikari. Oh wellz..... just my two cents. In a perfect world, the original four would have gotten together and Tsumugu would have buggered off somewhere with someone else, but this time skip just blew that out of the water (Seriously, he didn't do enough in the first half of the season to warrant my liking him, way too Emo). Now all I'm hoping is that Kaname won't end up as the Emo/Forever Alone character that the author seems to want him to portray. Dammit, next episode please! |
