| Hair-chan looks okay so far, but I still can't stand Rikka. I suspect MC will end up with her, even though he is clearly interested in popular girl whom I actually like. Too bad she is likely to lose because she isn't the main female heroine. Oh well, all in all it was an entertaining episode, though I was hoping that maybe the teacher would try to limit Rikka's rampage. 4/5. |

Now that they've formed a club and Nibutani joined, the cast are finally in place and things can only get better from here. Speaking of Nibutani, she totally wants Yuuta. Maybe she's also a closet chuunibyou and has finally found a place where she can set herself free ;D. Holy shit, i thought i was the only one getting that vibe!!! Nibutani seems to be really interested in Yuuta, and im guessing she and him had some kind of encounter earlier--maybe when he was in middle school perhaps. but i cant wait to see how this develops, so damn funny and full of awesomesauce!!! my only concern with this setup so far, is that this triangle forming will bring about useless drama that this anime does not need. its kinda clear that its a YuutaXRikka pairing, any serious development for a YuutaXNibutani pair will kinda kill it for me lol Episode Naxcore: 5/5 Definitely one of the best animes this season!!? |

| This episode had me laughing from the beginning to the end. My sides are still hurting. The broom stick fight was epic. I find it ironic how this comedy fight scenes are better than a lot of action animes fight scenes XD. It almost make you want this show to turn into into an action anime. Well almost. Sanae, the blonde girl, that joined the cast appears to be Rikka's protege so it is no surprise that her imagination is just as crasy as Rikka. I loved how Nana, their club director, trolled Rikka when she pretended to have a foreigner alter-ego/ It looks like Nibutani, the hottest girl in class as well as Yuuta's crush has joined their crazy club. I would like to see how this development affect the Yuuta and Rikka relationship down the line. I wonder if Nibutani is a closet chunni. That would be something. |

| May not have been as funny as the last two but for an episode dedicated entirely to forming and joining clubs this was very entertaining. Saying that i found Yuuta wanting to go back in time to hit himself and Rikka trying to catch the paper and trick her teacher into believing she has multiple personalities to be very hilarious. | I think Shinka has ulterior motives for joining that club, and is pretending to be interested in Yuuta in order to infiltrate the club and achieve her goal. He'll probably realize that eventually, and realize that Rikka is the only girl who truly likes him. |

| I read overwhelmingly positive opinions about the latest episode but of the 9 pages of comments I see only one comment that points out that "Kumin, Sanae, Touka and Chimera(cut) are original characters. They are not in light novel." Does it make you dumbfounded at what KyoAni can do to "improve" a non-anime work and make it look a lot more appealing to anime fans? They have been doing it with K-On and Nichijou but in Chu2byo this was brought to a higher level with so many important subsidiary characters being anime original. |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

Edit: I found out that Satone is from the second novel, while the anime most likely only covers the first. |

Up till now, I don't think anyone cares that he's not joining the club, because Rikka and Sanae are pretty much nutjobs, and Kumin does nothing but sleep. However, Shinka is considered the hottest girl in the school and she joins that same club. He still has the option to go back on his word and join. If he doesn't, you can pretty much be guaranteed that the boys will l label him as crazy, or even gay, and that his school life will forever be ruined. |

I knew from the start they were original, but taking K-ON!! as a reference, they did a rather good job adding characters. I haven't read the novel, mostly because I did a shallow search and couldn't find it... should I really care about it? Because importing the first volume is on a exorbitant price in the only site I've found it with a fair shipping price. I mean, care enough to search a RAW? |

| I love the broomstick too. If KyoAni can make godtier magic fight scenes as awesome as that, they should make a mahou shoujo anime. It'll be awesome. The best part is seeing Nibutani in a cheerleader costume and surprisingly joining the club. She's absolutely cute. Looking forward in getting to know more about her. |

Basically the feedback by fans in Japan is that the anime does well to make the best use of the media of animation to make it fun while the novel makes use of the media of text to give deeper insight of the relationship between the characters and how they feel. However the story would see quite different since so many new characters are added in the anime and they all seem to have quite substantial role to play.
