| With the awful pacing this anime has been going through, it'll need at least 24 episodes to do it justice. Alas, I smell this is just a promotional material for the Light Novels. Laura knows who Chifuyu is even before the incident since she won the first Mondo Grosso tournament. Like many others, she idolized her. To see Chifuyu abandon her chance to win the tourney again is like a powerful blow to Laura (have you ever read stories about those "fans" seething in rage in defense of their idols? Same thing). Thanks to that however, Chifuyu has to teach in the Bundeswehr (or the future equivalent thereof), and for Laura, it's like a dream come true. Probably she is a super soldier that is Chifuyu's star pupil, but when Chifuyu had to leave for the IS Academy, Laura couldn't understand why. After all, she's got her, (and possibly other stellar soldiers under her wing as well). Upon hearing that Chifuyu's brother is in the IS Academy, it would be logical for her to transfer there, beat the shit out of Ichika to prove his inferiority, and (in her mind) use that as a bargaining tool to get Chifuyu back to Germany. | I'm watching this anime only because of Houki and now Charlotte. After watching MSLN Strikers, I have an EXTREME aversion to "practice" battles. Can they not have an actual opponent. And the droid thing a few episodes ago was the most generic robot I have seen to date. I'm starting to worry about the "plot" 6 episodes in and there is no real plot... aside from all the girls vying for Ichika's attention And why do all male leads in harem anime have to be so dense... |

| I like how Ichika is able to do some REALLY bromantic things without feeling slightly gay. If holding hands isn't bad enough, he actually grabs another "man" by the shoulders and asks to change together. In any case, I really like Charlotte/France. She seems to be the only girl who isn't super clingy and unreasonable in demanding Ichika's attention. Still love Cecillia the most though. :3 |

| All i can say is that in a single episode, Charlotte earn more points to Ichika than every other heroines combined. France-tan suddenly got a Total win ^.^ The ED feel really wonderful now. and by the way I just loved to see Charlotte in the female uniform and for those who have questions about the chest thing There is something called Breast Binding you know and that's in our modern days so you can imagine what kind of technology they got there in Infinite Stratos.. |

Besides I believe it's not fair to just bash the Harem genre and outlined it as a generic. It's like you are saying it has no meaning or whatsoever [LOL] that there was no point in making this show first, I don't know about all that bad shows that the harem genre has but here is something you can base your opinion on, INFINITE STRATOS original work was LIGHT NOVEL and It's not based on b]some ergo, Dating Sim games or even Visual Novels so that you can decided "Oh this show is solely for Fanservice purposes and it has not plot or whatsoever"... You see, Can you imagine someone reading 300 pages for One Volume of it's Light Novels just because of its so-called fanservice , it doesn't make any sense to do that you know, and that 300 pages that I am talking about is average pages number for one volume of Infinite Stratos.. To be honest, if it was based on manga or manhwa then I can see that there is a room to be bashing it because of its fanservice but that ain't the case here... The Light Novels for Infinite Stratos got sold well then got popular and translated into more than one language and finally made it's way to Anime.. Usually most of the Anime adaptions from the light novels works are good because they have a story behind them. |

I haven't watch that many anime and I already can see that this kind of anime has been done a millions of time. Maybe for you, but the only thing interesting in this show is the 3D CG action. I don't think they can do much in the last 6 episodes, I bet it's gonna have the same generic crap harem ending. |

Freezing is better because it doesn't lie to it's audience on what it is doing. It's being a shitty B-movie anime (rivaling Shikabane Hime, better than it as a matter of fact). And with that it tends to be enjoyable even though they can go overboard with the fan service. This is all you can expect from this show, although it does have a plot it's mostly about Chicks against Chicks. At least in the show I don't find anyone annoying. Kazuya use to annoy me, but he's starting to be better and less cringe worthy than Ichika. The show is decent and the fanservice that they is not EXTREMELY FORCED. Inifinite Stratos has alot of forced moments that don't seem natural. I'm done, nuff said. If you don't agree, then I don't care. Here is a simple answer for all these questions.. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN DON'T BOTHER WATCHING IT as simple as that, you can have fun watching the stuff that you Like, for ex. like Freeze etc... instead of watching stuff that you say that you don't enjoy... | It seems to me that Charlotte is the only girl that can actually get Ichika to be embarassed, to affect him. Usually, when he interacts with girls, he doesn't really care about it, but this episode it is shown how he blushed, stumbled for words, etc. And apparently she doesn't display a direct interest in him, which is a plus to her personality. A plot is a synopsis of a story and the definition on what's going on so we can get the gist about what's going to happen. This show has nothing of that. Harem's can be AWESOME if they are EXECUTED right with a plot (ex: Aoi Yori Aoshi, Shuffle, Love Hina, and Sekirei). If they are lazy then they should be bashed. This show is the definition of LAZY. Also, Light novels are not always adapted well to anime (ex: Akikan=GARBAGE). This episode thread already fails for just realizing that the dude is a chick. And also how she can fit her breasts in her tight suit. Ahem...THIS IS ANIME! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN ANIME. It's not freakin' rocket science! Anyway, stereotypes in ainme are nothing new, they are everywhere and only so very few anime manage to crate something unique and, if you want, politically, socially, culturally and morally (?) correct. So you really can't expect something different from a generic harem. So, I am in agreement with you that this is not a well made anime, it's just another harem, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy Charlote, for example, now does it? Now, what I don' see is how IS is similar to parod moves (movies I detest). | When I first saw Charles/Charlotte is was like, "Wait a second, there's no way that's a guy!" Especially after he/she was reluctant to change in front of Ichika. I guess I was right. But before they revealed it, even after I figured it out, every scene she was in I thought, "Shota, shota, shota..." But now she's not a shota, she's moe. I guess I learned my lesson for like the tenth time that there is only one guy in a harem, no exceptions. |
