This was a nice send-off episode. Seeing as there are other factions more stronger and probably more dastardly, Sakura as a class captain decides to wage war against the KEEL.

Season 2 I'll be waiting for you in my dreams

I went into this hoping that it wouldn't turn out like that shitshow Tokyo Revengers and thank god it didn't. This show was far more enjoyable than I expected even if the story was somewhat predictable. The characters were interesting and fun. Most importantly the main character wasn't some crybaby or weakling but someone who strived to become stronger. The action scenes were also quite fluid and fun to watch. Though I did find the whole Shishitoren arc a bit dragged out but overall it was a great show. The writer of Tokyo Revengers really needs to take notes on how to write a proper main character and a good story. I am honestly quite hyped up for Season 2 of Wind Breaker.

Extremely overrated anime. Probably will be the most overrated anime of the year imo. Even more than Solo Levelling.
Both eye candy shows with very poor story and characters. I think Wind is less enjoyable tho.
5/10.
@ZER0PT But Frieren already is the most overrated anime of the year and of the decade tho lol. U cant beat that ever. Even if its more like cozy chill anime than serious brawl, chars in WB are enjoyable coz even the 2-3rd roles are quite good and not just a dead background like in solo L. u mentioned, where they are non existent quite literally..

Kinda frustrating that they're starting a new arc on the last episode because it seems to be the most interesting one so far, especially that the Keel clan seems absolutely hardcore and I like that how the whole class is teaming up to help that guy saving his friend from them, now I'm genuinely hyped for S2, but overall it was a fine show, probably too shounenish for my taste because the characters could be quite ridiculous at times especially Lion Head members (except Togame of course)

Good music and I like the general premise... but the show felt like it moved at half the speed it should have.

A cool series and great characters despite, once again like Tokyo Revengers, a slightly surreal story.

By that I mean that it's hard to believe that hundreds of kids can, in total freedom and with no outside intervention, just go around beating the crap out of each other, in a setting that's supposed to be realistic (it's worth pointing out). I still find it hard to believe.

What's needed for this kind of series is an exposition scene with more work, more detail, more surrealism if you like. A simple example that could have worked for this series: this story takes place in a city ravaged by delinquency, a rate that has reached figures that are only increasing. Former delinquents end up at Furin High School, in a neighbourhood plagued by all kinds of vandalism. Their credo: protect the neighbourhood at all costs.

All we know at the start of the series is that there are some nasty gangs operating in the area and one nice one = Furin. The first sentence of my example alone would have been enough to make the story more believable. This kind of show sorely lacks the context to believe in what's going on from a global point of view.

Leaving aside this detail, if we take the show for what it is, i.e. young people beating the crap out of each other, it obviously works well. Sakura is cool, classy and her embarrassed side was fun for a convincing backstory. And, of course, the other members of the class and Chief Umemiya were perfectly integrated into the show with really cool designs too, which I think is the series' number 1 attraction.

With its fights, which had the punch, the good choreography and the sakuga scenes to make the whole thing a big show. And with a very good quality OST, which fitted in well with the gang battle style.

After all, I can't help thinking that all these kids have a brain damage and psychological problems like Chouji, but you really have to put these things out of your mind and look at it from another angle to appreciate the series. It promotes certain values, brotherhood, freedom and those kinds of values that the show wants to convey and I think it worked pretty well.

Fortunately, a sequel is planned, and I'm keen to see how Sakura will climb the ladder surrounded by her new friends rather than alone to reach the top.

P.s. I really liked Kotoha's presence and feminine touch.
