| Better than second season FOR SURE but it wasn't that hard to achieve honestly lol. Liked the animation a lot, especially in the opening it looks SO GOOD. The mini arc with the dragon was decent as well. But the scenes with other heroes... soooo boring imo, I can't even stand these guys. And the miko outfit was such a WTF moment too, even a grade schooler wouldn't come up with such a silly concept, what the hell. Suddenly Raphtalia isn't just a poor slave and demi-human anymore, bur former royality of some kind yeeeeah okay sure whatever. 6/10 |

| So I guess we have the next arc set already. Suddenly Raphtalia is a descendant of some country we've never heard of and which has been monitoring her forever it seems. Great... This show really overstayed its welcome, after a weak season 2, season 3 was not able to improve. If anything the writing got even worse, by making the other heroes even dumber and just copy + paste a whole story arc. 5/10 |
| Being stalked your entire life for circumstances outside your control would piss a lot of people off. Surprised Raphtalia isn't more irate. Pretty decent season. The new characters weren't anything I hadn't seen before, but they were still likeable enough. The main appeal was the more engaging, well-directed battles; and a more entertaining and varied plot than the tiring banality the Spirit Tortoise arc was assaulting you with. Unfortunately, it still had to recycle Malty and her inexplicably successful attempts to gaslight the retarded heroes constantly — something that should've been impossible after she was exposed in Season 1. |

| Great! Epic! Wonderful! Such a quality adaptation, as well as quality to-be-continued episode. If someone's after Raphtalia, they must be destroyed! Go go Shield Hero! Yeah, his "rising" can't be completed just yet. The final deal would PROBABLY be the phoenix's revival but before that, there are probably or most probably some countries or nations that are up to no good and that are against the Shield Hero. His war or his mission has just begun. He has a lot of work to do. Whoever called this series generic must be blind. I've read a lot of isekai, but this is just intriguing. P.S. Naofumi was probably leering or probably not earlier as he looks at Raphtalia to wear the Kimono. Either way, Raphtalia is cute. I definitely don't know what his feelings for Raphtalia yet, but I don't want spoilers even if the answer is obvious. Anyway, I'm looking forward to S4. Definitely hyped for it! Lastly, there's a lot of things I want to ask about Trash/Staff Hero, but let's just wait for the reveal. Bitch needs to go away real soon. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| This season was slightly better than season 2, but the leveling system is still really odd, the odd side quest wandering is less adventure and more just weird attempts at what feels like filler. And abolish the slavery already ffs, shield fool. Stop paying for people in that rotten business. At least they kindamade amends with the other cardinal heroes, btu that really should have been done in season 2 so season 3 could have something more fulfilling. Least everyones still alive lol 5.5/10 til next season :p |
| I really don't like this part because there are too many holes in the scenario that don't work. Why didn't it trigger that attack when they came back from the other world? Because she was wearing the outfit when she came back And, as we've been told, they're still there to keep an eye on her Why now, it doesn't make sense! But above all, why a priestess' outfit? It's really crazy, it's an outfit from another world and it's triggering coups d'état, it's nonsense. It's sad, because I think this season is really nice, but there are too many things that don't fit, that aren't coherent, that don't make any sense at all. The sudden weapon that appeared on Lysia, the fact that it breaks slave buckets without explanation. (Well, personally, that just reinforces my point that the slave bucket is a piece of crap, anyone can break it super easily). The memory stones of Gaelon, father of the other girl, and Gaelon, newborn, which make the demonic dragon, don't make sense. (One thing I didn't quite get was why? Why did the demon dragon, when he spawned, want to kill the heroes from the other world, but I thought he was a demon dragon from that world?) A demonic dragon that controls Naomi's shield, without any explanation. |

| This is a significant improvement over the second season, which really should have been skipped, or turned into OVA, or just flashback sequences, hopefully they will continue this trend with season 4. |

Raphtalia looked good in her shrine maiden outfit imo. However, this episode was more about her in the role she plays in.
Felt kinda rushed though and it didn't give the finale vibe that I had hoped for. At least we do get all the relevant characters in the show making appearances one more time. Maybe I was expecting more but the season finale definitely felt a little underwhelming.

| @Stark700 Season 1 had multiple finale episodes, most prominently, after the trial of King/Malty, where Ralphtalia is drunk fighting with that knight, Malty attempting to poison the shield hero. Then extra finales, the island episode where they're having fun, Ralphtalia gets drunk again, has an arm wrestling match with that knight instead. Then finally the ships at sea fighting waves, and fight with Glass. |
