| seem like the author loss control on the series just like the author of Devilman said how he write story, but unlike him he forced hard for ending he had planned with Aki for whatever reason |

| So Aki won after all. With how uncomfortable their relationship was I didn't think they would go through with it. I can see how Aki grew to like him since he was a different person for her for most of the show. But Masamune spent most of his life hating her even when he was building their relationship, the sudden change of heart after all the straining wasn't convincing. Especially after the fact that he realized that Aki was a bad influence on him and he felt more comfortable around Yoshino. Made more sense if he end up choosing Yoshino or even Neko who really cared for him the way he really was. Anyway, this season animation felt much weaker than the first. But I really liked the fact they went through the whole story and actually had a real ending. Also, Aki looked great with the short hair, should have cut it earlier. |

| I think Aki was the right girl for him. The entire story revolves around her. Aki's character development was incredible. She wasn't overly jealous and stirred up drama with Yoshino. She accepted her even dating him which was crazy even though that didn't happen. I do prefer Yohshino and Fujinomiya a lot more. In terms of waifu material, you can have a lot more fun with them. Fujinomiya needed more backstory. They should have had anime endings in the form of OVA's that go with different routes similar to Fate, but make it a non-canon episodic one. One for Yoshino, and one for Fujinomiya. Tsunderes have this power. Reminds me of another anime where a Tsundere won but left me empty inside feeling bad for the loss of the other girl. Opportunity costs everywhere. You can only have one, unless you do a harem ending. Very impressive season. |

| Reverse subversion. I liked it but the animation made it hard sometimes. The old animation style was better, and appealing. |

| I cant believe this anime have not only fooled me once but twice!! That was how good the twist was, but pacing wise it was bad and there are so many flaws. Still I enjoyed and hated it at the same time just like season 1 i keep catching up w my nostalgia, this kind of anime makes me feel alive |

| In a way he actually did get his revenge, almost as planned, since the girl who really did call him the mean nickname (Yoshino) fell in love with him and then got rejected. |
