| Mr Compress's final sacrifice was pretty neat. Deku unlocks the 4th's quirk too [spoiler]which is danger sense. Basically spidey sense as a quirk The final few moments of this episode were really well done. The OST seemed so appropriate for those particular moments. The war finally concludes with neither side really achieving their goals but if I had to pick a side, I'd say the heroes took the L here. The amount of heroes they lost is monumental, the trust of the civilians in heroes is no more and the repercussions of this war have been devastating to the hero society. I am pretty hyped for the next cour. Here's hoping the animation stays as consistent as the first few episodes of the 1st cour. |

| RIP Mount Booty. We need a booty redemption arc. Clearly the best character of this arc was rabbit woman, I hope we get an entire rabbit arc. Toguraki continues to be the hero of the tale, while Deku brings dark cringe. I hope he can cringe out like Batman in his lair. LeMillion was useless. It turned out to be Toguraki's old catcher's mitt that brought him back to life. Hallelujah baseball, praise Shohei. Let's see what the future brings, as everyone escaped with zero damage that won't be magically repaired. Hopefully we get the ultra-violence next time, but probably more dorm tales and fluffy fillers until the end of the season. The biggest mystery is if Deku will be able to finally be a real character soon, we'll see. |
| And there’s that harsh lesson; sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you try you still lose. The heroes did absolutely everything they couldn’t but there was just no stopping the Villains this time. Of course, that doesn’t mean they can’t try again! But it’s going to take a lot to get past all this |

BNHA has always made it clear that these villains are just people who didn’t get the help they needed when they needed it but that doesn’t mean what they’ve done can just be forgotten |

| Feeling bad for Mr. Compress cannot said his last cool line before got knocked out. But well, good job doing your best performance against Best Jeanist fiber like that and save big boss for however season needs to coming out on the future. In the mean time, Deku realized another quirk from the previous wielder surge on. However its already too late to make a use of it. They lost, took their sweet time with the battle, and finally, this, well, not the best conclusion yet manage to be done. The end of the arc. Shigaraki granted AfO wish to retreat, with Gecko and Dabi on his side. But also left everyone else especially with Machia? Now that's something interesting to know what's next going on. Since the society already fallen apart from the hero dependency. Tho that why the other season on the make, because yeah, see you again, useless Deku! |

| Predictably Shigaraki -or is it All for One by now?- and the League escaped. A fitting end for the first cour. The villains might not have won completely but they wiped half of Japan with the heroes. And their goal of society losing faith in heroes is complete. Though Shigaraki's goal by now is merely destruction for destruction's sake. I wonder how much Shigaraki is a product of his toxic family and how much a product of All for One. If someone else had offered him his hand back then, as he suggested, he probably would have ended up completely different. He had pain and hate in him and All for One shamelessly cultivated it, endorsed it and amplified it... |

| No freakin way Deku is trying to save Shigaraki wtf?? No way they're trying to make Shigaraki sympathetic or make him out to be a victim of circumstances. Overhaul abused one kid and Midoriya was like F this guy, Shigaraki leveled multiple towns trying to kill hundreds of thousands and Midoriya was like "lemme save you". Mr.Compress part was actually cool, I like Kaitou Kid stereotype and he's got a good design too. I do agree with psyche-K's point though, Spinner and Compress don't belong with the league of villains, it just make no sense. |
