There is no bait, it is singlehandlely one of worst anime ever made. Almost bad as Ex-Arm but atleast you laugh and enjoy Ex-Arm unlike this

| I'll be real, favourite episode so far (on this rewatch, that is). Really cool directing, car escape scene was great, but also, I like how Maine's written from the very start. I was reminded here that in my memory, he's the best written character, story-wise, to me, won't say why here of course but yeah. The way the cool world relates with the themes I feel is a reason why Trigger was fit for this series for the most part. Other than simply being cool which is what was wanted of course. |

| These first three episodes have done a prety great job of capturing the vibe of Night City from the game, the minor stuff like the in-universe slang or the various gang factions being referenced is nice to see. Maine's Cyberpunk crew seem like a cool rag tag bunch of misfits. I'm also curious to see how it's going to play out with the Arasaka Academy people - they've been brought up numerous times already so looks like they're positioned for some kind of major role in the story. |
