| Another marvelous episode with a bit of a cliffhanger at the end. We can finally see Regs and Faputas backstory at least to some point well I can't wait for more. |

| Poor Nanachi. Mitty is an absolute treasure, but her clone can't leave the village walls. We didn't get a solid explanation about how Bondrewd created Mitty, obviously he did it within the village, but like, how?? ugh Faputa is an adorable demon. And of course, I love Reg so so much. He's my favourite character, and as Faputa says a few times in this episode, he is just so kind. I probably like him so much because there aren't that many kind characters throughout the series. Reg is absolutely selfless, and the backflashes we got to see of the two meeting were so cute! I hope Faputa gets to live in the end.. she's Immortal so I think there's a good chance, that she ends up like Nanachi and part of the team, but most of this series is trauma-porn so I'm not super hopefully lmao I didn't really get what Faputa's relation is to the "stone people", which are the Whistles. So she recognizes the people's souls in the Whistles, and the White Whistles who have visited the 6th layer.. and she also recognized the soul's wish to be worked on, I guess, to become it's true self. I can't recall when she stole Riko's whistle though.. I remember when Majikaji took it without asking and brought it to the weird jeweler/rock Smith. |

| Really good episode. Things are coming to a head now as most of the season has been hinting at. Speaking of the season as a whole, although it kinda *feels* like the season has been meandering a bit, I can't honestly say which part could/should have been done differently. I think part of why it feels that way is since so much of the season focuses on the village itself (for obvious reasons) and the flashbacks to the past. Season 1 moved so fast in comparison, with new vistas and creatures being introduced more frequently. We had some of that at the start of the season and less so after. Those worldbuilding parts, to me, are where MiA is at its absolute strongest, with the drama being a very close second. Back to the episode, Nanachi having to say goodbye to Mitty again, just damnit. Didn't really have the same emotional impact as the first time, but I don't think it was supposed to either. I do hope Nanachi gets the rest of her outfit back as well, as I'm much too used to see her with the big "hair"... cape? Wig? Faputa vs Reg was pretty brutal. Not so much in the fight itself, although animated really well, but rather the reasons behind it for both characters. I'm not sure on the decision to flip back and forth between past and present. It still works, but I can't help but think that maybe it could have had more of an impact if we knew more of Faputa's reasoning before seeing her slaughter the villagers. I also got the impression that the flashbacks were representing Reg slowly remembering his past, even if imperfectly so. Strangely, with Nanachi saying goodbye to Mitty and Reg fighting with Faputa, the biggest emotional hit for me was the small dudes following Nanachi, even though it killed them. Poor little dudes. |

I hate that this season came out the same year as Chainsaw Man and the Bleach finale because this show could easily be AOTY. My favorite episode in the series besides episode 13 of last season. As a manga reader too the next 2 episodes are going to be even better |

This was my favorite and most anticipated anime, but this season is a 5/10 plotwise compared to previous arcs. |
| Just amazing. At first when I was reading the manga and saw Mitty come back like this I wasn't sure how I felt, but this proper sendoff here definitely made it worth it. But man what amazing transitions this episode. Props to whoever directed this. One volume left of stuff I think they'll put into this season and 2 eps to go. It's going to be awesome. |
The cuts going back and forth from the flashbacks during Faputa and Regus fight was the best I've ever seen |

| wow what a episode, surprisingly my favorite episode yet! That was somewhat brutal to watch, yet beautiful. Reg and faputas story was so interesting and shown perfectly. 5/5 episode |

So why did almost everyone said this episode is masterpiece? And the 5/5 vote is 87%??? There must be a reason, rigjt? Yes - a difference of opinion. And numbers - popularity or being in the majority, never makes anything better or more correct. It just makes it more popular, which says nothing of its actual quality. |
