| Table scene was very well done, Levi VS Monke was very well done, shame the ground started rumbling in Japan. Watching hypocrite Armong Tardlert get beatdown was fucking epic and probably my favorite scene in the entire season so far. |

| This was a great episode, unfortunate that the broadcast got interrupted by an earthquake. Hope Wakayama is doing okay. The table scene did not disappoint, Eren's a beast Jesus Christ! I kinda expected a CG Beast at this point but it was well done anyways. Zeke's scream sounded different but it was also well done! Kudos to Koyasu Takehito for doing what he does best. This was a pretty hyped fight and I think MAPPA delivered. Prefer the manga tho =P but great ep regardless, hope we can see the full broadcast soon 5/5 |

| Episode got cut short but at least some is avaible.Sucks they got another earthquake, at least it wasn't strong like the one a decade ago. Poor Mikasa and Armin But for Levi i feel the most sympathy, his path is just pain, a constant suffering over the lost... at least Levi revenged them, Erwin and the other Scouts, unless Zeke gets saved somehow. Zeke knew to run away from Levi, even if it was pointless since he couldn't escape and got his ass kicked in an instant. |

Left out a lot of dialog, among them the ackermans , why they are so powerful. And also Mikasa crying, did it have the same emotional impact for you, compared to when she cried after finding that eren was alive, or when he was having his mental breakdown? In the manga you could see all their facial expressions. Specially when eren tells mikasa that he always hated her, here we didn't get to see his facial expression, or armins when he got angry,. It was poorly done and they left out dialog. At least for me. Still thank god we got the manga. Previews episode, was good, this one, the most important one, was just done wrong. Blame Kodansha. I think you're overexaggerating the importance of the dialogue that was cut. |

It won't end here since they want to adapt the manga entirely. |

Which didn't happen. He didn't say anything about freezing while being transformed. Erens hand was bleeding most likely because he cut himself with a knife before entering the room |

It would make no sense for them to jump from talking about their intentions, to the ackermans???? It is the 2nd time they do not talk about the ackermanns. In the table scene in the manga, you had a clear view of their facial expressions. Here nearly nothing, not even eren "being evil: to mikasa. It was done in a hurry cuz they had to animate 1.5 chapters. Look, for me as long as the story is intact aot is a 10/10. This was similar to episode 3, reines backstory, and it was done badly, or not as good as i hoped for...w/e I remember them talking about the Ackermanns, though I might be mistaken. |

| Everything in the partial episode was done amazing, except for some shots in the forest scene as well as the CGI which I found really jarring. The Kenny theme for Levi vs Beast titan was weird but every other music choice was perfect. The direction was really good, and the storyboarding was monster like but I feel as if the animators slightly wasted the storyboard. Cheers to MAPPA for pulling through (for the most part) even though they had a shit schedule to work with. I really want part 2 to receive better treatment though because I can feel the massive potential just being wasted. 8/10 imo |

| They really nailed the table scene. Couldn't have asked for more. The only thing that maybe could have been changed were the soundtracks. Levi vs Zeke was fairly limited as expected, but they did the best they could and I'm ok with it. Had some cool shots but the "rapping" ost was completely misplaced in my opinion. OST in general is just a major downstep in this season imo. edit: I revisited the manga pages and they did cut some pretty good dialogue in the table scene. Kinda unfortunate but hey, it was still good. |

| @puppetmazter When first arriving at Paradis after the raid on Liberio district Zeke told the officials that his spinal fluid would freeze up any Eldian who gets it into their system (Seen in episode 13 "Children of the forest". However the freezing up part was a lie told by Zeke making people think nothing of the wine. But the effect of that lie is immense as almost all of the officials have spinal fluid in their system and if Zeke is in range they will transform with a mere shout. If you are still confused I recommend watching Episode 13 of s4 again. |

As for the EMA scene, no problem for me. Rather a loyal rendering of the manga dialogue, especially at the beginning, and looked nice too. There was a shot where Mikasa's eyes were fantastically detailed, but this was not the case of other shots or other characters. To see the goody Armin get a thorough beating was in a way satisfying. It's invariably interesting to see someone's beautiful ideas tested by real-life situations. Eren does have a point that Armin has always physically the weakest of the three, thought it seems a bit late to bring this point up at this stage when Armin has already proven many times that his strength lies in his other qualities. What a contrast between the harsh words of Eren now and the eulogy he had for Armin back in Midnight Sun. Makes you really wonder if he's being sincere. Eren's fighting style seemed a bit exaggerated to my taste (almost to the point of being comical to be quite frank). I thought he would rather deliver a few weighty blows than use Armin's face as a boxing bag. The talk itself and the first two blows that Armin directed at Eren were on the other hand very believable, I was totally with Armin at that moment. As for the Levi's fight scene, well... I did not expect much and I got what I expected. MAPPA didn't overexert themselves with the animation of 3DMG here, Levi is presented as one pose per each shot on a moving background. Not cool. I disilked the OST. It is one of the most emotionally loaded scenes, where Levi, being indeed so caring about his team as Zeke says, makes the difficult decision to slice them all up. I did not feel like this episode delivered on this emotional level in these scenes. The shot of Levi narrowing his eyes and coming to a decision while flying in the midst of the crowd of hungry titans is very nice, thanks MAPPA for this. The badass OST has nothing to do there imho. The view down and in between Levi's legs was rather an exotic artistic choice. There was less censorship that I expected, the scenes with Zeke throwing titan body parts at Levi are outright gore, either I don't remember it from the manga or I forgot. The CGI Beast titan looks real bad. To people who are not well versed in animation technology and time constraints it might seem rather ironic that the titans that appear more frequently this season look worse than those who appear for a few shots only. Overall, 7/10 episode. Not terrible but could have been better. |

We don't know exactly how they plan to do the rest (be at a Part 2, or even a movie perhaps), but the story is nowhere near done yet. And as it seems you've been able to avoid spoilers up until this point, well, keep it up, do your best not to get spoiled because there's a ton of bots going around right now giving out major spoilers. And if you're just baiting me, well then, screw you I guess LOL |

And Zeke turns people into titans with his yelling. Whats still confusing to me is, why the soldiers froze up in this episode. Zeke is nowhere near them so they couldnt have heard him yell. But if its exclusively the effect of the wine, then I guess its a coincidence that they froze up at this particular moment. |

| Woah finally an episode to pick it up for me, with the roundtable scene and the fight between Zeke and Levi in the forest!!! Damn Eren did not hesitate to hurt their souls, Mikasa finally hearing the words that she would go to hell to listen, and Armin realizing that he has become a bit like Bertholdt, and Gabi just sitting there all spectator mode. I never realized all this time what Eren disclosed us of the two's personalities, with Mikasa being a "servant" to Eren, and Armin loving Annie but it's because of Bertholdt's memories. And yep Armin took an awful beating by Eren there, it is their first and it is never fair from the start. What a very good scene there. At the forest, while the Yeagerists are in motion, Zeke escapes the forest and turns everyone a Titan due to the wine, ngl that was a very nice weapon to weaken an enemy. But Levi, after seeing Eren and Gabi took all the spotlight for the majority of the season, says "fuck it I'm going BEAST MODE again" and outbeasts Zeke for the third fucking time!!! Zeke once again defeated are swept by Levi...and then the fucking earthquake part happened. Well...I guess that's it for now, we'll just have to wait for the 7 remaining minutes of the episode and see where that fucking went. |
