This was such a good episode.

To be honest I felt kinda bad for Levi. He has sacrificed so much only to be put in this situation. Not getting the result you expected after so much hard work can really crush you.

I also feel really bad for Falco, he seems to be good person and is not filled with hatred like Gabi, but has to go through so much because of her. He deserves better.

Also you gotta admire Sasha's father, he could have gotten more emotional and killed Gabi but he didn't. Although I currently really dislike Gabi, I'm hoping that she'll change and realise that she was wrong. After all she's just a brainwashed child.

Can't wait for the next episode!

This episode was pretty disappointing for me, Gabi feels so shoved into the plot at this point, she openly disrespects all the eldians in the room and somehow all of them just forgive her for killing Sasha like whats up with that? It was established that Jean and Connie only had Sasha left, and they just sit back as her killer berates them. The reasoning for the father not killing her would have made sense if this wasnt some kid you picked up a couple days ago and valuing them over your daughter. At least that yeagerist part was cool

So basically everyone should grab a knife and stab the 12 year old kid. The father shows maturity, everyone is different and handles situations differently, if you were a dad you probably would have murdered the 12 year old kid, someone else would have instead curse her out and call her all sort of name, another person may have walked out of the restaurant before doing something he later regrets. It just depends on the individual.

You have Niccola and the girl Sasha saved that agree with your point of view, now if the little girl had forgiven Gabi then you would have an argument as she is a kid as most kids are not mature enough to control their anger, she wont be able to control her anger or know how to be mature, hence why she tried to kill Gabi out of rage! It makes perfect sense.

Jean and Connie were already mad at her in episode 8, remember Floch wanted her to be thrown off the blimp but Jean refuses, so I'm not sure why you expected them to get upset again just because Gabi says bad stuff to Sasha it should be obvious to them by now that Gabi is a brainwash kid.

It would be like an adult arguing with a kid, you as the adult should understand there is no point arguing with a kid, hence why Jean and Connie refuse to waste their time with a brainwash kid.

If two grown adults are arguing with a kid, then those adults are not mature at all.

Little action but one of the better episodes so far this season. The moral dilemma of the casualties of war and the desire for revenge was well embodied. Great job by the VA.

One of the best scenes in anime when levi was getting depressed and flashbacks were running through background, it just killed me, whoever thought of that scene was a pure artist

And tension wise this episode might've broken the thread but I may start to hate when they just leave u on the cliffhanger,

Many ppl are appreciating floch but in this ep he just appeared to be just another asshole and I didn't liked it one bit

What a crazy episode ! Everything was so good !
- Livai with Sieg, and remembering the sacrifices of his comrades for Eren
- Niccolo when he learns the truth about Gaby, his hatred and sadness against her, the same for Kaya, who try to kill her, Sasha’s parents helpless with this situation
- Eren joining Mikasa, Armin and Gaby as naturally as it is surreal
- The Pro Jeagers, aware of the conspiracy with wine, with the machiavellian smile of Flock
5/5 this episode, I was breathless !

Great episode overall, but man I really wanted Gabi to die then and there. Not to mention how she felt no remorse for killing Sasha and to say that in front of Nicolo all so high an mighty really irritates me. Worst character imo, and I have no idea why Isayama gave her so much bs plot armor to have her not be killed.

That and the fact that the father didn't seek some sort of revenge is also bad story writing. If I lost my child to someone, I would want to see them get the worst punishment possible before they were killed.

Also, can Falco please stop getting hurt for the actions that Gabi has caused please!?! At least he's more logical and sound compared to her, I like him better as a character instead

In the AOT universe, it's fair game. And I'm pretty sure anyone at this point would want to have Gabi killed or be the ones to do it themselves. Have you not seen all the Gabi getting punched in the face videos on YT? People just hate her guts and I honestly can't blame them. Not to mention how happy she looked mentioning how she killed Sasha in front of Nicolo, now that just shows how little remorse she has. At least Falco is the more sane one, Gabi just ruins the mood whenever she's on screen

Damn those last few minutes were awesome. I love how Eren just casually strolls in like it's nothing. Him and his new crew look completely in control and they won't let themselves be taken for chumps. Also the tables have completely turned since Hange was talking down to Floch a few episodes ago. Gotta love it.
Excited for Eren to finally get to talk to Mikasa and Armin next week. Should be fun.

Overall a pretty great episode, it's just getting really annoying how people are STILL treating Gabi like some innocent child who just spilled some milk and needs a hug when she killed 2 of their fucking guys. Then another one after they locked her up. Who cares about avenging Sasha, Gabi is a fucking nuisance and dangerous to keep around. I wish somebody would bring that obvious point up instead of all the "good guys" coddling her and everyone else trying to kill her in bursts of emotion treated as irrational.

Thank you for putting it into words!! Gabi at this point should not have lived this long and should've honestly been killed for how violent she is. And the fact that Mikasa and Armin try to protect her after she took their friends's life is even more ridiculous I tell you!

This episode made me want to hate Gabi again. LOOK WHAT YOUVE DONE BITCH, TASTE THE AGONY, GRIEVANCE, AND RAGE THAT NICCOLO AND THE BLOUSE FAMILY ARE UNDERGOING NOW. But no Falco still saved her and is hit hard from the wine bottle. Shit gets deep from here.

WTF, those wine bottles are actually Zeke's spinal fluid that makes humans turn into Titans, oh this is going to cause some destruction within the walls. And wow it keeps getting twisted, looks like Zeke and Yelena twisted the Eldians all this time, and the Yeagerists are truly blinded by their goals

And finally Eren decided to talk with Mikasa and Armin (& Gabi)...I'm just gonna say this for only this moment, FUCK YOU EREN AND YOUR EXTREME WAYS TO "SOLVE" THIS PROBLEM. Look I still don't know and I still can't understand the true motives and actions that are at play right now, but I just hate the fact that Eren pretty much shitted on our cast right now. Who knows maybe I'll change my mind later and be proven wrong next episode. But goddamn Eren is looking like the villain now for me, and it's bittersweet to know that.

This episode... yes this one.... the Seiyuu’s really did great work... Just to mention some
• the way Gabi said “Watashi-mo oniichan....” was really funny to listen... Sakura Ayane really did great work
• Sasha’s father’s way of speaking about Sasha
• And my boy Kamiya.... his voice part reminiscing/remembering the past was well done
• as always good work by Elric EdwardHange’s VA
And yeaaahhhh you should hello meeting ur friends after long time like Eren 🤣
Floch’s that face is definitely gonna be a funny meme
Lastly.... keep ur hands on table

Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves... some of you would be quick to shoot a child. He released Sasha into the forest, so he took responsibility of Sasha's demise.

It's okay Gabi, a lot of people here just don't undertand Isayama's writing. Amazing speech and writing.

MAPPA again with a stellar job bringing this chapter(s) to life. Nicolo and Gabi’s seiyuus knocked it out the park with their wine bottle scene.

“Kill this.. kill that...all you ever think about is killing just like someone else I know” this is basically the core of SnK’s second half summed up. The juxtaposition between Gabi and Eren. People who hate Gabi fail to understand her character and it’s sad.

Sasha’s parents choosing to spare her is also a core theme. You can’t break the cycle of violence by just killing and seeking revenge. Eventually someone has to let it go. As Gabi said, Sasha killed people she cared about first. If they’d killed Gabi, there would be people who cared about her that would seek vengeance too.

Next week is the infamous slave convo. Lets hope it’s done right.

I don't get how they resist the temptation of killing Gabi, the girl who killed your daughter is standing there and calling your daughter a demon but you're doing nothing to her. I don't know if whether I should call what he did 'being a nice guy' or 'being dumb as fuck'.

I know right? I'd kill myself if I had parents like that. Gabi is literally sheltered with plot armour, which parent in the world would literally forgive the killer of their child while giving a fucking philosophical speech? Not to mention, his friends, Jean, Connie, Mikasa, all of them shower Gabi with forgiveness. Connie is quick to blame Eren for Sasha's death, but yeah he don't give a fuck about Gabi who's standing in front of him, who literally DIRECTLY killed Sasha.

Some very religious people in some societies have done exactly what Sasha's dad did. It's an incredible show of human generosity and magnificence. I wouldn't have in me. I suppose that Sasha's dad saw a stupid, ignorant, brainwashed little girl and realized that her dying wouldn't bring his daughter back.
Connie makes less sense though. Like you said, he was quick to blame Eren but when faced with Gabi he says nothing. I suppose it's a reflection of Isayama's deep love for the Gabi character.

WHATTTTTTTTTT EREN JUST WALKED IN........HAND ALREADY CUT. It was so subtle that it made me scream out loud. ''The Jaegerists'' are not playing. Floch looking mad scary.

Niccolo going for the hit with the wine bottle but ofcourse Falco had to save Gabi once again. Even after that epic save from Falco, Niccolo still punched the shit out of Gabi. Niccolo gave Sasha's dad the option to kill his daughters murderer but he didn't, Kaya on the other hand was ready to end Gabi.

Falco got wine with Zeke's spinal fluid in his mouth.... The whole wine thing was pretty smart by Yelena.

That shot with Levi talking about all the times he saved Eren with all of the sacrifices in the back was SO FUCKING SICK....

Solid episode as usual, This episode was so good probably my favorite from this season.

In terms of the Gabi resolution....eh. While I understand Sasha dad's perspective on refusing to kill Gabi because of preventing cycle of hatred coughlast of us 2cough it is starting to get kinda annoying that Gabi herself isn't really facing any negative consequences. Like she literally killed 2 scouts in marely (one of which nobody seems to actually care about but anywho) and brutally beat up a prison guard yet all she's gotten so far is love and care from the victim's family and maybe getting shouted at once or twice? It doesn't matter if she's 10 or 100, actions do have consequences and she clearly isn't getting any

Though in fairness the revelation only just happened so will have to wait and see how it plays out later on kek

Holy moly it is getting wild.

The kindness of Sasha’s family saved Gabi’s life and may have shifted her perspective on Eldians even more. The top of Paradis’s military are sleeping titans and Falco may have been infected too. Hange and the top Scouts (minus Mikasa, Armin, and Levi) were captured by the Yeagerists. And we finally get the conversation between Eren, Armin, and Mikasa that we have been waiting for WITH Gabi there too.

Okay guys I get the fact that everyone wants Gabi dead but can you literally deep the fact that you want a grown man who adopts orphans to kill a 12 year old child in front of his family like that's messed up.

He's being extremely mature and understanding of the situation. He knows sasha's killed and it's the saying ''The only ones who should kill, are those who are prepared to be killed.'' (lelouch btw). It's all about ending the cycle of hatred, killing gabi would do nothing but push the cycle of hatred onto falco, who'd end up trying to kill someone and so far etc etc.

I'm sure gabi would be dead if she was an adult instead of a literal brainwashed 12 year old girl

I wonder if anything happening in recent time can change Gabi's view of the Eldians.
Poor Braus Family witnessing all this and having to deal with it too.
Eren and Zeke's plan got leaked, guess this late into the game it was calculated and doesn't really matter anymore.
Finally Eren, Mikasa and Armin meet and can talk... the preview shows Armin and Mikasa are shocked by whatever Eren is going to tell them...

all these comments full of gabi hate... are you guys even paying attention to this series? you may not like gabi, but hating her to the point of wanting to "stab" and "kill" her is ridiculous and it shows that some of you are not mature enough for this series and you're totally missing the point Isayama is trying to show all of you.

that scene where -Gabi proudly tells Nicolo how she killed one of the evils, expecting validation from her own kind for destroying an "enemy", while on the contrary she almost gets killed because of her action which she thought was the absolute and true- was so sad. not to mention that a few minutes later she found out that the girl whom she killed was the daughter of the person she is living with right now. like, wow? she must be questioning her whole life right now as she was heavily brain washed and bullied into thinking that killing the "evils" (her own kind) was the only good choice to survive. now that someone she trusted tried to kill her because she killed an evil, her whole mind filled with dogmas must be completely broken and confused right now.

i'm ready for her redemption arc.

Almost as good as episode 6 from S3P2, and one of the best episode of the Season. Once again, marvelous writing, and the direction/soundtrack capture the feeling of the scenes perfectly. Animation was a bit still again, but that's literally the least important aspect of an episode like this.
