| There aren't many strong 'manly man' characters in Takeo's role and there aren't many prettyboy characters who aren't just assholes. Takeo is kind of dumb, and still provides comic relief as characters of his type usually do, but this time it's about his story and about his feelings. Suna is stoic, and doesn't openly care about other people, but so far I get the feeling that he's a good guy at heart. It's a little refreshing. Cute to see Takeo's commitment to helping Suna and Yamato even though he's an idiot. And of course the beam thing was unrealistically heavy, but that was a tense and cute scene too. Yamato herself isn't very interesting, but not offensively boring and I understand that there hasn't been too much room for her. Maybe she will develop soon. Animation style is relaxing. I want another episode. |

| the inner dialogue takeo was having with himself while holding the beam made me tear up a bit. he feels helpless that he can't ever be "the knight in shining armor", but at least comforts himself with the fact that he saved her. in the grand scheme of things, he can make her happy...even if he feels as if love is not an option for him. and I wanted to add...caring about someone else's well-being instead of your own, instead of fixating on a physical appearance....this is a more noble love. he may think it's second best, but those thoughts make him the best candidate for a relationship. |

| To those who think Takeo is dense or retarded..really!? He's not your typical harem MC which extremely DENSE and slow at everything. Imagine you're in his shoes and you had a super cool osananajimi that got confessed everywhere he goes. Even the children and old ladies think he's handsome/cool. And you walked right beside him but not even the ugliest girl would spare a glance to you, let alone confess. If you still don't get it, then go watch some harem anime and learn the definition of 'dense' ;) Overall a great episode. Takeo and Suna are true friends really. I like how Suna always set things right in the past if Takeo messed up even with a little sacrifice. Hard to find a friend like Suna nowadays lol :D |

| The series looks very promising. As much as I hate giving 10/10 to anime I already see the potential to rate it that way. But there is one thing that annoys me. If Takeo will keep thinking Yamato loves Sona for 2 more episodes, Im gonna drop this series. I hate that kind of developement... |

I wouldn't be surprised if Suno actually does more behind the scenes than we are lead to believe. He seems the type to take some effort to cover up his involvement to keep his friendly relationship as it is. I suspect he might even try to get Takeo and Yamato together later on and lend them a helping hand. |

Just like Harima from School Rumble, he missed the cue because he quickly dismissed all the possibilities that a girl is in love with them. |

But the next few episodes should clear it up for you. When I started the manga I was about ready to give up about 20-30 pages in, but by the time I had got to the 100th page of the first chapter, I knew this would probably become my favorite shoujo series. If the next episode goes the way I'm expecting, everyone's assumptions will be out the window. Great pacing on this episode. Can't wait til next week! |

| Takeo is so damn clueless xDD Yamato continues to be super kawaii and Suna is great as usual :) I really liked all the cute and funny moments in the episode Although it's pretty funny how this whole misunderstanding with who likes who is, I hope that it doesn't last too long and that Suna or Yamato clears up everything before the end |

| This is the epitome of a reverse-shoujo. The MC, a guy, is going through all the angst that the girls in shoujo's normally go through.... and IT WORKS! This show is seriously a great portrayal of how guys think, and the way they made Suno is so realistic, and those inner self-monologues were totally spot on (I busted at all the "Seriously dude, you're too close" moments). This is seriously how guys interact in real life, and I love how genuine it is. Takeo's monologue about the difference between him and Suno at saving girls would be definitely something that I would think of, but then I'd be like "but if he saved her like that, they'd both be crushed by the beam and die". I had some serious issues with the sudden falling construction beam, which made absolutely NO SENSE (seriously, if they were doing construction, NO ONE would be able to walk underneath like that, they'd cordon off the place for sure, this is JAPAN for god sake). Then the adults running around looking for something to hold the beam up just disappeared afterwards, also made no sense. You'd think they'd try to get Takeo out from under the beam first before anything, and not just run off. Stuff like that just does not happen, not like that.... Other than that, well... solid episode. Looking forward to seeing Takeo and Yamato get together. |

| The comedy is so mediocre, and I like it, not like any other anime that's so much insane and it's not even funny. I really really like it Rinko, she likes Takeo but sadly Takeo thinks she likes Suna. This is a good plot. Hope to enjoy the entire series. |
| While it's a "nice" anime as far as the romance goes... it's just not quite what I want to spend my time watching. Gonna pass on this one. Lol dude got stuck in a manhole. |
