Cornelia's a stubborn bitch. People getting thrown overboard and she's just like "lol don't legitimize terrorism."

Lelouch used his power perfectly here, forcing the terrorists to commit suicide. If Britannia's smart, they'll make the Black Knights an ally. But I have a feeling they're not, so...

This was an amazing episode. Also, the movement Lulu did with his hands at the end, you know, the 'those with power, fear me, those without, seek me' movement, reminded me of D. Gray man's 'one hand for Akuma, one hand for humanity'.

Order of the Edge Knights, jk, but that's a veeery generic name.

Lelouch is developing a Light-esque Vigilante personality, we'll see how that goes.

So, he can basically make this idiotic Resistance do anything he wants by giving any poor excuse. Even if the lie isn't something going with the Resistance's own goal. Congratulations Lelouch, you find some nice puppets here!

3/5

Coolness factor +1 (10)

@CodeBlazeFate Suzaku, his father Genbu... do they have any more relative called Byakkô or Seiryû? XD (mythical cardinal beasts of China)

Well, he had more than prove his competence to them as a miracle worker and tactician (partially since most of his opponents were scrubs) so they have no reason not to go along with just about anything he says.

Heh, you've said coolness factor +1 a lot. How many coolness points does this anime have now?

Nah, they don't. Also, fuck Suzaku (you'll start really getting into that mindset later)

Started watching this title because heard it is much like Death Note in terms of mind games things. But I got really disappointed of either Lelouch's intelligence or determination to achieve his goal as he dealt big damage in the rebellion forces. To my mind, ordering Euphy to kill Cornelia could be an excellent move for the plot. It is sad that Euphy as character is obviously protected to be paired with shiny justice mech boy.

UPD: In general, this episode is still very good.

This was really fucking cool. Lelouch is a pretty awesome anti-villain. It's so fascinating see how he is approaching his effective destruction of an empire. I wonder how effective his announcement will be (great outfits, by the way).

What a good episode. Getting to see Lelouch execute his plans is always cool, and that speech at the end topped it off very nicely. I wonder what the people's reaction to his rescue and speech will be.

I was looking through my DVR to find an anime to watch and i loaded up Gundress... towards the end they had to infiltrate an island base via a tunnel... kinda sounded familiar and yep episode 8 of code geass... Very amazing how many similarities between an anime made in 1999 and an anime made in 2007 are. Anyways i just wanted to point it out ;)
just admit you wanted to call out code geass for "plagiarizing". Don't talk in a disgustingly roundabout way.

really curious of your thoughts of Lelouch as a character in comparison to Light after (if) you finished both seasons of code geass.

so what i'm understanding is that nobody in japan actually knows what a lot of the royal family looks like which is odd but it explains things i guess

does nobody who knows lelouch recognise his voice when he is zero? i guess it is hard when you haven't got a face to go with the voice, but nunnally? she hears his voice all the time and she doesn't recognise it??

but overall this episode was good! i quite liked it. and anyone saying they can't see the light/lelouch comparison is lying through their teeth

I guess Lelouch doesn't desire to kill all of the royals if they are of the kind self-sacrificial type. I'm guessing most aren't though.

I wonder if this will change the public's view on Zero, even if just by a bit?

Epic episode. Glad Lelouch showed those brittanian and Eleven suckers that killing innocents isn't cool.

And looks like Suzaku has a trauma of people dying. He reacted really severely to Britannian hostage dying.

Lol Suzaku wanted Brittanians because it was systemic without emotions and Lelouch used emotions to get to Cornelia.

Heroes of Justice heh.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

Order of the Black Knights? That's a lame name but whatever. Lelouch is still a badass. His plan worked again and his orginization will probably grow now.

how you not love Prime Lelouch

turning a hostage situation into a therical stage to promote himself and hid new found Black Knights

thought he'd clip Euphy , but he has sibling love for his naive little sis

found Cornilia's weakness , he maternal instinct to protect Euphy ..

but back to Lelouch .. if only he could get those terrorist on his side , he'd have a personal hit dog org at his disposal to take care of dirty business

anyways ,, on to the next ep!!

Englischsprachiger Raum

Is it just, me or did Sazuki Open fire on the building he knew had his friends inside?
He then believed he had killed them. I don't believe he would do this all in the name of being an honorary Britannian.

Hmm shame about the other guys though, defenitly felt like valuable man power you wouldn't want to lose.
WAIT does he still not know his friend is the one using that suit bro how, it's like everyone knows except him. Well not everyone of course but you know. It kinda felt like at least fairly easy to get knowledge. Anyway he defenitly popped off there at the end NGL that was kind of hype. A bit corny sure, and his morals and ethics being in between Batman and Darth Vader like I said before is defenitly right, didn't know what to call it before but it's defenitly kind of more "Jedi" morals and ethics. (by which I mean the "good" jedi not all of the corrupt clone wars ones.) The ones who actually fight and act by the code of "protect the weak"
And aren't just pawns of a certain emperor in a war.
