| Who the hell is Kishou? Totally forgot about that Asaemon. Also lol at Nurugai pulling a "Dororo". Didn't see that one coming. Well... there goes Genji-dono. That sure was a lot of talking coming from someone who formed part of this group just because of Yuzuriha's tits. Another 3/5 episode. Sagiri finally finding some resolve was nice tho. |

| The intro of the show has so far been much more entertaining than the actual island things. This honestly so far feels like an attack on Titan copy with less animation. Gabimaru is not that interesting to me in all honesty. Sagiri just seems like feminism bait. |
| Seriously who would eat anything from that island? That place is actually legitimately creepy and I wouldnt trust any plants from there as being safe. I like the pair introduced in this episode. |

| I'm glad Sagiri finally woke up from her unconsciousness. After all, this means that not all things on the island lead to direct death. In itself it is really strange that you can find all these statues of different religions everywhere. Who built them and for what reason? Is there maybe a chance for "normal" human beings living here? I have to admit that Genji wasn't entirely wrong with the idea of sending Sagiri home. But only if you look at her current mental and physical condition. Her skills as an executioner are beyond question, but in the current situation skills are required for combat, which she doesn't have due to a lack of experience. We were introduced to Nurugai and were able to follow their backstory. What a lousy way to be sentenced to execution just for living a peaceful life in the mountains without submitting to the shogunate. To be honest, I didn't expect Nurugai to be a woman either. So Tenza's reaction is more than understandable. The words Gabimaru spoke to Sagiri were very important to her. It strengthened her belief in how she would like to live her future life. Not as she was taught or instructed to do, but as she sees fit. I personally hate people who want to dictate how you live your life. The heated debate between Sagiri and Genji ended in quite a cliffhanger. It is safe to assume that Genji will die from the injury he inflicted. The question is, who will stop this monster Rokurouta? |

on | every episode characters gets introduced that i wish were the protagonists instead of Gabimaru. nothing against him his character arc/story is just not as interesting as all the others imo |

| I don't like to see a woman bowing to a man. I understand that "this was like that in the samurai era" but we are making anime in 2023 and we need to eradicate any male chauvinism existent. I would've rather enjoyed to see her taking that man's head instead, for talking down to her and devalue her. |

So dumb I'm used to watching movies or tv shows and those are 1 h minimum, 20 minutes should feel like they're over in an eye blink and yet i couldn't help but zone out throughout the episode because literally nothing about this show stands out. | This whole Sagiri plot is getting a little stale, but I guess she's getting some development as well, hopefully she will change and become the badass woman she really is deep down. Production is a bit wacky. |
