Yeah I thought the same. Couldn't put my finger on what it was and while it wasn't bad it just didn't feel as smooth or have the same feel as the previous 7 episodes (to my eye at least). |

| Wow. 18 minutes without fanservice of any kind? That must be a new record. Good episode overall. Really liked Juju and Gojou's heart-to-heart conversation and character movements during the beach segment sure were nicely animated. |
| I think this episode earns the slapped status, like wow, I think this might be one of my favorite episodes for the beach part alone, but the whole episode was great. Shinju educates us on why cameras are better than mobile phone cameras and just how great they are in general, and next we see the studio they rented which ends up being an abandoned hospital, but it’s honestly a great location for photo shoots from the looks of it, also loved Shinju’s explanation on backlighting. Man that Sajuna backstory was really good too, and Gojo’s reaction was hilarious paired with Sajuna fainting immediately after. Lastly the phenomenal beach scene, I loved every part of it down to the colors and backgrounds, it was such a nice scene between Gojo and Marin, and it looked so good too. That final bit where Marin tells Gojo they’ll go to a lot of new places just the two of them was also great. This was such a great episode, easily a favorite of mine for sure. |

| we almost made it boys and girls one episode with any lewds only wholesome , it was very tame but maybe next time lol +1 for a non lame ass beach episode will say since it is the most standout episode for better or worse like im not gonna outright say it looks bad because it doesn't but it was clearly different from how it usually looks which was already great but i guess you could say overly produced at times? could only think this is why tokyo ward 24 looks like shit now gotta funnel all the money into making everyone look good in dress up lol Marin went full gal this week with her slang talk |

| The animation on this episode is a bit different from the other episode. I can't tell if it's way better or not. But the boobs animation on other episode feels way smoother than walking animation on this episode. Thou it is way easier to animate 1 part of the body than the entire body. Also the direction on this episode a bit feel different. And I feels like they use long shot a lot for this episode. |

The same applies to animation director of this episode, keisuke kobayashi, who has never fully done this job before, but is an amazing character acting animator (You can see some of his work here https://www.sakugabooru.com/post?tags=keisuke_kobayashi+). Both were very important people on the production of wonder egg, as kawakami was the action director on that show, and kobayashi was the main animator, so it was expected to see them both on sono bisque as the staff is the same as wonder egg Just to clarify, Kobayashi has done Animation direction work before (on numerous occasions), he's no newbie in this area. This just happens to be his first solo AD effort in a long while (since oreshura back in 2013 I think). |
| Beautifully animated episode. The character sakuga is great and the mini mahou shoujo part is nice too. The first part of episode is details of photograpghy technique by Shinju which the convo goes at camera specs and types and their prices which is informative because of how its true that the hobby is expensive, even Gojou has nice reactions to it. And the next is they visit the studio where they gonna do the photo shoot. Which Juju is eager to go but she was scared, when she sees it. And backstory of her and how she was passionate about cosplaying. Which she shares with Gojou. And he touched that there is a person that liking his craft which he was emotional to it. Great scene. The next part is about Gojo and Marin going to the beach because they just finished exam and making plans for the summer break. Which Marin boldly said that they can go to different places at summer break which he accepted. And Marin reactions to it is good. Overall my favorite episode of the anime |

| Jesus Christ, that was beautiful. The whole beach scene was definitely rotoscoped, it looked awkward at some points, but damn, did it feel surreal overall. CloverWorks definitely going above and beyond for this adaptation, well same for Akebi-chan. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| I just binged these 8 episodes in one sitting and I'm sad I have to watch weekly now :( Anyways this episode was wholesome and the beach scenes were gorgeous to look at; I don't get how people think the animation was ugly. |
| The photography talk was what kept me hooked for this episode lol despite some misinformed information about cameras. They mention a pro camera has bokeh but it's all in lenses, lower f stops produce more bokeh (e.g f1.8 f1.4 f1.2 f0.7 etc.) and resolution isn't the main reason it's because of the larger sensor size allowing better low light performance and exclusive flexibilities in color spaces (i.e canon colors, Sony colors or Nikon Colors) Shinju is underrated with her enthusiastic character portrayal in photography.  The team goes location scouting and eventually find an abandoned hospital building that will suit their cosplay shoot. Gojo gets awkwardly happy that someone appreciates his work but Juju is shocked that she hasn't held a boys hand despite reaching the end of high school. Near the end of the episode Marin wants to go to the beach out of nowhere with Gojo. Not sure whether their connection will develop since it's been avoided for the past 3 episodes. So far, it feels more down to earth despite the unequivocally unbelievable situations Gojo has got himself in. I thought more females would equate to a harem but the atmosphere is more like a friend group which is definitely a good motive to push especially with differing hobbies. |

| On today's episode: Inui-san freaking DIES and Marin finds some seaweed. Masterpiece episode Those photos at the beginning that Inui's older- er, younger sister took would be some damn good wallpaper material. How Marin was able to get that angle on Gojou when she took that photo of him, I don't know. I guess she teleported 100 feet to the right of her position, took the shot, then teleported right back. And also the zoom on that phone was insane. Definitely wasn't an iphone, probably a p30 pro or s21 ultra. Anyway I like how Marin is all admiring Gojou, and then a second later he proceeds to face plant in the water and freaking dies edit: also, a beach episode with no swim suits despite being a total ecchi anime- just the odd panty shot. This is rather revolutionary |

| I don't know but the animation this ep feels different. Not saying that I don't like it but the scenery was epic. Now, we've got an episode where we hear Shinju's voice a lot. I thought her VA was Reina Ueda but I was mistaken. Searched for some characters whom Hina Youmiya voiced but there were only a few I guess. I'm quite interested, I think I should watch Selection Project to hear more of her. |

| I feel the show blew it's load and lost steam after ep 5. Let's just get the confession, kiss, move on to next season. Ditch the Inui sisters and automatically this show would go from okay to enjoyable. |

| Reall feel-good episode. Marin and Shinju are making a friendship, while it seems that Gojo and Juju are also making one of their own. That bird scene was so well done; it really shows the personality of our two characters and it was really funny as well. The beach was really nice too, both him calling it beautiful and the animation. We get to see more adventures next week? Nice. |
