checking in again, no 2023 release I guess..
absolutely wild that we got season 1 in 2017, the movie just 2 years later in 2019 which already felt like an eternity back then because of course anime movies come very slowly to the west and now nearly 5! years later there is still nothing solid
I might actually just learn japanese and read the damn novel before this comes out

| As of 2024, there are 14 volumes, of which 12 (it'll be 13th in December) have been localized by Yen Press, I have to pick it back up but I believe it might be ending soon or maybe it'll end in the 14th volume; if you're patient enough you won't have to read it in Japanese. |

I mean I know of 1 solution, but it's very tedious.
If you already know spoken Japanese and are capable of understanding the romanization, there are many tools out there for converting moonrunes into the latin script.
If you hook up an AI that takes the text from an image into a text file and then transfer that text over to the moonrune decrypter and then take the decrypted text and paste it back at the location on the image it was originally on, you will be able to read manga without needing to learn the writing system.
Takes a little coding knowledge and effort, but it's just a solution that came to my mind lol, also maybe even someone made such a program already, idk. :p

Pretty sure it's already existed for quite a while too, because I remember a year or 2 ago seeing some mentions of some companies using AI translate their manga because their localizers kept getting criticized for translating unfaithfully. |
