Meaning that it will adapt the rest of the LN from Volume 8-13. Is that true? If it's not true, pls explain more. 2) I would really like to know the duration/length of this movie. I'm going to be really dissapointed if it's only 1 hour. 1) yes, it adapted all the remaining LNs. I heard that some of the vols are just fillers. 2) according to aniDB, it will be 115 minutes long And the full length is 1 hour, 57 minutes, 32 seconds = 1:57:32 |

Is this series not popular in the west? Or a lot of people just don't know about the movie. The amount of discussion is seriously lacking for a finale. |

I loved each and every second of this movie!! This is one of those rare cases where the LN completely gets adapted!! And it's one of those even rare cases where we're left completely satisfied with an amazing Happy Ending!!! This has got to be one of the best endings I've ever seen!!! I feel completely satisfied with no questions left!! It's a strong 10/10. A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE!!! |

Bagazias said: the first one (this is probably the last paragraph of his mail) was basically his rant about his meeting with Maruzu company employers, he ended the paragraph with 'aaah i want to play galge.. i want to flirt with the heroine... I want to meet you faster/hayaku aitai yo...'Amazing closure to a great series! I understand that Meguri's route is basically his love confession to Megumi. However I would like to know what was he writing in those emails ( I wish I understood Japanese :() Afterwards he commented that even he found that mail to be quite gross. But then he pasted the entire mail into his 'Meguri route 22nd scenario' text file, changing Megumi's name there into Meguri (this part is the first paragraph of his mail with few Megumi's name written on it since he originally wrote it for her). Then Utaha came to check it since she thought he was just writing his game's scenario, but she found out that theres a part of the mail where he has yet to change Megumi's name into Meguri. Then he sent the edited mail as their Meguri's 22nd scenario into Megumi. So I'm guessing that he is inserting their whole drama there (or at least the apologizing mail) into their game's main heroine's route scenario. edit : the movie also pointed out that he even added his kissing+confession scene into their game edit2 : also in the first half of the movie, it also pointed out that he included s2 scene during Eternal flat insert (eps 8) as Meguri 14th scenario text and s2 scene during Glistening flat insert (eps 11) as Meguri 15th scenario text. We can safely assume that he included everything he experienced with Megumi into their game. |

I am really happy with how it ended. I admit that the scene after the credits made me think about the worst possible ending.... Megumi the best of all ..for me.. :P |

I love Utaha senpai, but Megumi is definitely the best girl for Tomoya. The ending was very satisfying for me and I am glad there was an epilogue. I will say, the first part of the epilogue got me. I was annoyed with Eriri crying. Like come on, she choose her dreams over Tomoya, what did she expect? I don't blame her for choosing her dreams, but the moment she did that, she lost Tomoya. I am really happy I watched this series. I am glad there was an complete ending. |

A satisfying finale to a good romcom. Solid 9/10 for me, although I wasn't that fond of Megumi before this movie, she did receive good development and I gotta admit that she's the best pair for Tomoya. Also, I seem to be the only one who appreciates Eriri around here. Not that I complain, she's quite the character... Man, so many endings to iconic romcoms lately. First Oregairu, and now this. |

The movie was pretty decent , but i gotta admit that it was extremely rushed , I would have loved a third season. It is still pretty decent and had a really satisfying ending 8/10 |

Mmm.. I felt the opposite. I actually came in expecting it to be rushed because a lot of LN readers said they skipped a lot of material. After watching it though, I was pleasantly surprised. The pacing was totally fine and It didn't feel rush to me. Like, usually my main criticism for anime movies is that they always feel somewhat rushed which is why I don't like them nearly as much. This movie was different for me. Just my opinion though. |

Remember his confession to Megumi? He says she's the only one he can be comfortable with and stay as natural as possible, without admiring or obsessing her more than necessary. Eriri and Utaha could not give that to Tomoya because they chose to get better as artist so that Tomoya can admire them more, but what Tomoya needed wasn't that, he just wanted someone who can stand as an equal with him. It was their misunderstanding of Tomoya's personality. What Utaha pointed that by calling his help they wouldn't be able to get Tomoya back was because she understood that they were already too late to get into relationship with him as pointed in the movie where she eavesdropped Tomoya phonecalling Megumi at hospital..that they are already intimate enough to call each others name and that he wanted to celebrate her birthday with just the two of them. She knew that their failure with Fields Chronicle would be their last chance to stand as an equal to Tomoya. Even worse, both Eriri and Utaha realized that what he wrote in his laptop during his stay there wasn't actually his game's scenario/story.. but his real feelings towards Megumi. So yeah, during s2 ending and Glistening flat insert by Megumi, he is already locked into Megumi's route. The movie pointed this too when Megumi said 'The main heroine shouldn't hug him, let him cry as much as he wants' during their skype conversation. edit : TL;DR they wanted to get better as an artist because of him.. to the point of leaving his side. But it backfired them instead well yeah you're totally right about that i still dont understand the scene that eriri said "hey tomoya do you love me " and tomoya starts crying saying how would i know |

She also knows that Tomoya's answer doesn't really matter, because either way it's too late and she's putting him in a bad situation. That's why Tomoya answers with "Like hell I know". |

Is this a great conclusion to Saekano OR WHAT. Just like Oregairu, it's been 5 years (4 to be exact if following the film's release in Japan) since I've ever seen such satisfaction. And of course, the main heroine Megumi Kato has to win the disgusting weeb otaku Tomoya's heart, although the trio of Kato, Eriri and Utaha has been floating around and playing cupid jokes to quiver his thoughts of conquering Blessing Software's objectives, rather than achieving Tomoya's ideal girl over the past 2 seasons. And oh yes, the periodical humor and 4th wall breaks that always gets me just like the series will. Pretty good content (rushed or not I can't really tell), but the romance is easily 10/10 heart pangs of damage here and there. I won't get into the LNs (for being a convoluted mess), but at least the anime was a lotta fun in the yesteryears (and still is today). Great send-off. Megumi will always be best Waifu of Saekano. |

Well, I sure got worried seeing that troll after credits. The way he hugged Megumi after that was exactly how I felt too. That epilogue tho. Perfection. Last 10 or so minutes alone made me bump my score by 1. I just couldn't imagine better and more satysfying way to end it. |

After nearly 5 years when i started to watch Sanae (and i haven't even known this series before) it's done...with such big happy end that i could cry tears of joy. The Up and Down in the anime series were surprising, funny, depressing (that i wanted to punch our MC for real for his dense), lovely (Megumi moments with Tomoya ftw) and so natural that i just can say...the author managed all these things and put them together and created big grand final. It did hit me like a truck when Tomoya & Megumi talked about the game and the scene of (not to) hug. That scene( & song) from S2 in ep 11, i couldn't never forget. I am just Anime-only watcher and couldn't wait what will happen now since it was clear where the story goes. Then... When they finally confessed each other (Tomaya x Megumi) their love, hugged and even kissed it was the moment, after the torture of Tomoya's dense, i just said "Finally...you've let me wait so long, you both makes me happy now". As a grown man i can just thank the author for such great anime! It was maybe a citarpillar (season 1) in the beginning, but ended as butterfly (movie). Wonderful! But something bothers me currently of the translation and maybe someone can answer that: During the confession, there is the scene when Megumi says what Tomoya is in her eyes while she is crying. Is this translation really correct?? (see pic) This scene is around 1h 25min. I really want know, because this translation doesn't feel right! thank you! :) |

I love how Eriri was shocked when she found out he moved on to Megumi even though she betrayed him twice and left his circle, were the viewers supposed to feel sympathy for her when she would cry? because honestly both Kasumi and Eriri treated him like shit in comparison to the god tier girl known as Megumi( the only redeeming quality of this series) so I was just angry every time I saw them on the screen. Seriously though, fuck both of them I still wish he never forgave them in season 2. |

kwnji said: now i'm confused, in Brazil we use the engagement ring on the right hand and the married one on the left... well, it may be different in other countries, idk xD That is really possible since in germany it's opposite. Married couples are carrying their rings on the ringfinger of right hand :D The left hand is used for the engagement (if they know it because not everyone knows this since it's older tradition). I just guessed it in same way because why should Megumi carry a ring, when we don't even know that Megumi and Tomoya are married because there are no indication like a nameplate of family name on door. Also Megumi was called as Katou-chan by Tomoya's cousin. So then my conclusion was: If Megumi is carrying a ring on ringfinger on left hand, she is engaged with Tomoya :) Just a dream, but well...when there are any Q&A by author about the epilog and somebody ask him "Is she really engaged?" and he answer "Yes"...i am gonna cry my tears of joy off. Then they are not even a couple of love, they are (nearly)-married couple...the peak of love :D But i am just dreaming...and hoping! |

"Tomoya ist mein Ein und Alles" is translated back by each word something like "Tomoya is my one and all". The better way of translation is "Tomoya means everything to me (and more)". Of course in the world of translations, it can be beautified or changed slightly to fit the context more, but the main idea here is her trying to announce that 'we are a couple so please don't disturb us' to everyone, and its actually rather commonly used in anime/manga/webnovels so I kinda got used to it but I can see how it might be misleading to other languages |

This is the perfect ending to a wonderful series. I thought Tomoya will end up with Utaha but it turns out it wasn't real and the real ending is where Tomoya and Megumi ended up together. Best girl wins! I'm glad the movie didn't felt like rushed and kept it's pace. I really loved the confession scene, it's just beautiful. |

now, I really want to go make a game again with a group of friends. Though, I can. I am not doing it since I have no group of friends who shares it. |

this was overwhelming to watch what Utaha and Eriri had to go through to acknowledge Tomoya and Megumi relationship not to mention choosing Megumi at the end for Tomoya to be with just came out of nowhere considering he had less connection with her and there was no charisma between them at all .. sigh ... after that the suffering started of me wanted to get to the end of this so i can forget about this shit WTF is wrong with some authors and their dumb picks Tomoya had so much better connection and charisma with Utaha and Eriri . i would have been better with any of these 2 my ship was Utaha because she has an amazing connection and charisma with Tomoya and i would have been fine with Eriri as well because i felt that connection too but Megumi ?! seriously ? WTF ! that girl was a ghost for most of the manga and the show what a poor choice this was that absolutely don't make any sense this was not a satisfying ending to me at all and i was being generous with the 5/10 that i gave for the movie and that was only for the sake of the show in general and not for this movie specifically if it was for just this movie i would even go to 3/10 even . sigh ... what a mess of a movie this was . |

Got the closure I needed. Megumi is ordinary and that's what makes her so loveable. I haven't been feeling romance in anime lately but Kato changes that. The kiss scene had me mesmerized. I guess this is what happiness feels like; when the girl you were rooting for actually wins. Was scared a bit after the credits. They really had me there... |

I didn't know about the original source, but kept thinking that "Damn, this sounds straight out of that one scene in Kaguya-sama" |

Oh, so it's continuation with the new group, huh.. Yeah, Utaha and Eriri left the group, after all.. Well, still maybe they'll get their time.. At start there is plenty of them, actually.. Will see, if we'll see more of other members later, and more of them as well.. And Michiru as always isn't part of the harem, and just doing, what she likes, I guess.. ;P Yeah, I like this anime among all - for the things, how it breaks fourth wall, as well as 5th wall, or something, mixing the game they're making and reality.. ;P I like these bits a lot.. ;P Well, of course there are more things I like.. Like characters are great.. Or other things.. ;p That's some nice anime cars in the parking lot (at 10:00).. ;D I mean, all of them are anime themed cars.. Is it place known for weebs gathering or something?.. ;P As well as people being passionate about their anime work or stuff like this, how to write or draw something, or other things - I like this as well.. ;P Ah, they're in Akihabara - makes sense then, why all cars are anime themed.. ;P Well, that's actually good suggestions by Katou.. How to get through writer's block, really.. If you have time - these things can work, really.. Also, nice to see back best girl Megumi Katou, by the way.. She is very enjoyable.. Like, how she now with calm voice discusses things with Tomoya.. I really like Katou at times, she's just such an enjoyable character to watch.. ;P And also Aki wrote all routes already, except for main heroine?.. Well, already a huge work done, then.. Well, still deadlines exist probably, yeah.. It seems just everyone reacts with "geh!" when seeing Akane.. ;D Well, she probably doesn't care too much that others would love her, as long as they do their work.. And probably such creators as Utaha and Eriri - wouldn't probably need motivation in pleasing boss, lol.. If anything, I imagine, they're just motivated by creation itself.. And all these little details of wife-husband life of Megumi and Tomoya.. Like her cooking to him, or eating his not finished sandwich he had a bite of.. I like these things so much.. It's so cute.. ;P Honestly.. Cafes would be much better, if they'd have anime girls posters in their kimono or gym uniform like on 19:20.. ;P Or in cute clothes.. That's the art I'd want to see in the cafe, that's the art that would make me feel good and relaxed.. Being in a place, where not your normal things allowed?.. Makes me worry less, and be more like myself, than trying to be just on the normal culture side.. Not some random paintings of flowers or whatever.. Well, we're not there yet, and maybe my country won't be there, really, in my lifetime.. Oh well, it is, how it is.. But just some random thing I'd enjoy, I guess.. Still, plenty of other things to enjoy in life, as well as other ways to get anime girls dosage in your blood.. ;P Akane, though, is quite judging, isn't she.. And, I mean.. Why not?.. Have you heard about gap moe or something, woman?.. ;D And, lol, again with 4th wall playing.. I mean.. Kousaka is the woman, who is exactly adding offensive stuff to this anime.. ;D And she's speaking about work needing offensive stuff, lol.. I like this playing on 4th wall, really.. It's like mix of walls.. Things like these apply to all 3 levels.. Maybe even more.. Real world.. Here also would be this anime in real world.. The anime world.. And the game world they're making.. These 3 layers overlapping a lot - is quite good.. ;P And yeah.. Some kind of conflict or something - also what is needed in the anime work, really.. Even if it is slice of life anime, or something.. In that case there still has to be something like not agreeing what to eat for lunch, blowing it out of proportions for dramatic battle between girls! Or something.. Ah, so after all, it was a compliment by Akane.. How she was laughing on moe gap, and stuff.. Ok then.. ;p On the other hand, I don't know, if it all has to be like this, really.. You can have mix of crazy stuff and wholesome stuff, really.. Or sometimes times of that, followed by times of this.. So yeah.. Well, in the end, what Aki will write - will see.. Hopefully, he and Katou will talk things out, what they'll want to see in the end at scenario.. By the way, Tomoya has both Ultimate Madoka figure, as well as small thingy of Tamaki Iroha from Magia Record spinoff.. I'd guess, it's a newer reference.. And nice to see him enjoying both, btw.. Even if Magia Record is still to open, really, needing season 2, is what I mean, and things only getting somewhere.. Still nice.. And yeah.. I like that Tomoya and Megumi discuss her route together.. Or their route.. .. It seems they play out some things as well.. ;P Yeah, sometimes girls hold their birthday as something special, aren't they.. Not like it's wrong, right, or anything.. Just, I guess, it's a special day, isn't it?.. As well as they're more open to some stuff in then, to be honest.. And well.. Isn't this a good dramatic event in between the wholesomeness, with her birthday getting interrupted in this way, hm?.. ;P Well, if talking meta.. And in itself, it's a sad event, really, with Akane maybe losing her hand?.. Well, will see.. As well as sad for Megumi.. Eh?.. What are these silent words moments mean?.. That Megumi and Tomoya don't listen to each other or something?.. Not sure.. Well, it seems our protag Tomoya will have to do some more work.. Let's see, if negotiations will work out.. But if anything.. It's again interesting to see, how much he cares about talents of Utaha and Eriri.. Oh, so not only negotiations, but also handling project, is what he'd do?.. Man, Tomoya is something.. And poor Megumi, I think.. But well, wouldn't asking him to stay - wouldn't it be too much from her side?.. Even if I love Megumi a lot myself.. Just that this situation means a lot to Utaha and Eriri, to their future.. But also.. Don't Tomoya have to look after himself and his group as well?.. As well as his studies?.. I don't know myself.. But in the end, Tomoya is just such a lover of the talent of the anime creators, isn't he?.. Hm.. So now.. This anime actually turns into Tomoya working for another company, not getting anything probably, but just to support Utaha's and Eriri's talent, huh.. Well, that is certainly a huge change.. I'm not too sure, how cutting 2 characters was something good for producing, though?.. I mean, is it voice lines or something, that would make 2 weeks?.. I'm not too sure, how it works.. Well, Megumi rejecting anything is in a way.. Interesting?.. Relatable?.. Understandable?.. Somehow.. All of this.. And neither of these.. At the end of the day.. It's unsure period in their relationship, and it's indeed isn't like they're going out or anything.. And who really knows, especially from Megumi's perspective - if Tomoya just randomly gets in relationship with any of the girls during these 2 weeks.. I mean.. In the past, Utaha did kiss Tomoya, for example.. So really if they'd really decide to do something like this.. This could become like this.. Well, I mean.. It kinda is important to support Tomoya's last route, of the main heroine.. But it also doesn't necessary mean anything long term.. Like, they can help him with route, but then they can just stay friends with Megumi, even finishing route.. Yeah, separation might help, actually.. It being dramatic event and stuff, speaking 2D terms.. But still.. It's not necessary.. Though, being prepared for that.. Is what is possible.. But.. Does also the main heroine route have to end well as well, to be honest?.. It's possible to release it with the bad end as well.. Not like I think it'd be a great choice, though, I think.. Still.. I partially agree, but also partially think that it's not necessary the end for Utaha and Eriri.. After all, dating doesn't always end in marriage as well.. Even if I like Megumi more myself.. I like all the characters, I guess.. So Tomoya manages to be honest with Megumi, that is the reason, huh.. That he loves her.. Well.. Interesting to know.. And I'd say you're a bit not honest, Tomoya.. Or rather forgetting something, probably.. ;P Forgetting the hill scene, don't you, Tomoya?.. Where Katou lost her hat.. And just go ahead and tell me, that you didn't admire her back then, Tomoya! So.. Yeah, Tomoya.. You're a forgetful sometimes, aren't you.. ;P Though, I can understand, how other girls could have seemed unreachable.. Oh, come on, Tomoya.. Aren't you in weeb culture?.. ;P Why would you really not be proud your taste being called a trash?.. ;P Well, maybe I wouldn't.. But it'd also wouldn't be a trouble, as well as what Akane means by this.. And Blessing Software team is full now.. Well, Eriri got her assurance at least in that Tomoya loved her back.. So she doesn't have to complex like she's not attractive girl, or some other random crap what we sometimes might think, when we don't end up with someone.. It's good.. And Megumi.. Yeah.. She's not your ordinary girl who falls in love with ordinary guy.. Oh, they sold all 2000 copies.. Nice.. ;P Man, this anime was so great.. It's also a great end to the anime.. I hope.. That I get more of this series in my life in the future.. Be it music, fanart, or new series - it's a series that are very dear to me.. And I hope that some of it remains in my future life, comes in the future again and again.. |
