| Lots of interesting theories in this thread. I, personally, have been suspicious of Sara since episode 1, she seems to be connected to the otter cops. In fact, even her lips look like those of an otter, not exactly human - they're rather triangle-ish. Also, her kappa doesn't even look like a kappa - she doesn't have a beak! Sara's poses also mildly remember those of the cops (when she stands on 1 leg). Otter in disguise confirmed! It's their nature according to the folklore, after all. What's really interesting is how exactly the process of leaking secrets during sarazanmai is happening. Are all events shared by everybody or not? Is the secret "flowing" like in the bottom of the screen so that the 1st person sees what's going to be leaked, the 2nd person receives his own bit of information, and the 3rd person receives everything? Understanding this process seems to be crucial in order to get the characters and their knowledge of each other. In fact, in all 3 leaks Tooi was always in the middle, getting the least amount of secrets from everybody. He doesn't even need them though. So only Enta and Kazuki got the most information since it was more important to them. It might be just my confused speculation though, and maybe everybody knows everything shown during the sarazanmai sequence. But it doesn't seem to make sense given how the process of leaking secrets is depicted (one person is leaking it and the other one is receiving it, so the one in the middle receives the least). Anyway, I wonder how much of Enta's confession actually happened and got remembered by Kazuki. | Okay. Despite being very confused and unsure at first, I'm really into this anime. It's SO PRETTY. This episode made way more sense I thought. A lot of people say you either love or hate Ikuhara's stuff but not for me because I really LOVE Shoujo Kakumei Utena, it's one of my top ten anime but I did not get into Mawaru Penguindrum but I'm really enjoying this so far. So, it's hit or miss for me. Also, Enta is the gay ICON that we need and deserve. Bless him. |
