| Ohhhhhh, okay okay. I faintly remember this part in the manga. I think I have a good idea of what's going on. Since Future Lucy said she didn't close the portal, that means someone else did it because she didn't make it in time. Imma assume Jellal did since he looks like he figured things out. I won't say the reason why Lucy wants it closed, but we'll see soon. Ahhhh, I'm so excited! :D No spoiler tag bc these are my own assumptions haha :P could be right or wrong :3 What I wanna know is what those shadows are that's swallowing up ppl and how tf Rogue became such a dickhead LOL. The moment Natsu got swallowed up, I was like O. I guess those previous ppl who got swallowed will most likely be able to come back alive hahhah X) |

| Good episode, decent action, but more importantly NATSU GOT HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM. My prediction is the dragons are coming through the gate and Lucy is trying to stop it; meaningwhile, Rogue certainly has dastardly intentions and is, in a small twist, trying to stop Lucy from saving the future instead. Lucy is evidently not in control of herself, though, and future Lucy had no recollection of it, so there must be something else afoot, too... It's a sort of loop-prophecy. The gate is opened because a time traveler warns them of impending calamity, but opening the gate is what causes the calamity. The predestined future only comes to pass because of future intervention. Ah, time travel. |
