| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well so they started choosing partners in this episode. That was fast. Same goes for that with Carl I guess. Smooth~ That almost looked like a proposal with the stance. Their school actually looks kinda fun lol. If I was going to study aviation, I wouldn't mind it too much. I find the instructors to be hilariously entertaining to watch. |

| Thoughts: 0:06 do all schools have cherry blossom trees? Every anime with a school seems to have 1 3:19 Luis's hair is just way too long, even for a guy 3:32 so Luis is gay? He basically confirmed it with a wink… ew 5:13 again with the creepy white haired dude… 11:29 Mr. Bandereas is such a narcissist freak… that's the first thing I will think when I see some guy with long hair. 14:19 I have a feeling that the somewhat fat kid talking so eagerly will end up dying somehow 17:13 there's always got to be a "Melze" bastard in every great series eh… 18:27 what a proposal… maybe he did it like that cuz kal-el is a commoner & clarie is royalty 21:02 what a caring mother kal-el has. Hard to find them anywhere ----------------- Overall: 1. The OP song really sucks me into the series 2. The story pace feels a little slow for my taste, but it's slowly unfolding 3. Which makes it more interesting. Loving the world setting :D Some intros for the characters in the dorm and they all seem pretty fun. Liked Wolf. He's awesome ^^...The girls are all pretty nice. No one beats Claire though. She's just adorable <3...And Kal seems to be more of a BA than I thought. He owned the cocky bastard and smoothly picked Claire up in front of the views of everyone :o...Nicely done :D Some nice foreshadowing with why they have defenses and who against...etc And Kal being a prince is awesome too. Loving this so far. Can't wait for more ^^ |

| Nice episode. Liked seeing more of the other students. The class segregation between the noble class and the commoners should lead to more interesting conflict. Another thing that caught my attention was how the teachers responded to Benjamin when he asked why Isla is so heavily protected. The students look unaware of any conflict that might take place. Definitely looking forward to the dogfights in this series. I find it interesting that Ignacio knows about Kal-el's past as a prince. I'm looking forward to learning more about Ignacio and why he doesn't like Kal-el. |

| Still enjoying this quite a bit. The world building and slight mystery to the school is keeping interest, as is of course the whole class conflict. I liked the dynamic with the newly introduced group. The pairs were pretty obvious, especially Chiharu and the eager fellow. I figured Ari would end up pairing with Ignacio. That reveal at the end sure adds more intrigue as well. Now Carl reminds me even more of Oz. It feels nice being able to assume him and Claire are virtually a lock at this point. |

I think you did your math wrong. 12 knots x 24 hours x 30 days x 5 months = 43,200 knots. Convert that to miles and you get around 49,712 miles. The circumference is about 24,900 miles, so you would only circle the earth twice. |

Also what is annoying about her behavior? Both of them act like normal siblings. I really hope this show does't pull the stupid trope of her falling in love with Kae-el. |

| Kal-el showing that snobby noble who is the man around here. Loved the frustrating expression on that jerk's face. Claire is lovely as usual and although its in the synopsis it's interesting that the gray haired guy knows Kal-el's past. What's the connection? Can't wait to watch the next episode. |

| I have a newfound respect for Karl, shutting down that blonde noble while getting what he wants with one smooth move is pretty impressive. I like how the show makes fun of Ignacio by cutting him off mid sentence in the next episode previews. |

| Karl was like a smooth criminal when he asked Claire to fly with her, of course after putting that noble guy in his place. This episode was better than the first, I really like the way they capture the world in this show, it is just so amazing to look at, I would really want to fly through the place. But one thing that bothers me is how obvious they made the pairings in this show, you can tell that each pairing from the cast is going to end up in relationships towards the end, but after that, this show is pretty awesome. I do want to know more about Ignacio though, there has to be a reason why he is so isolated from the rest, and I'm sure it has to do with Karl considering he grabbed him by the hair in the OP and the ending of this episode. |

| Wolfgang...what a man XD That flight pairing is like the show telling us "here are your pairs." Guiche Faust got put in his place haha. Super smooth move by Karl. I let out a little squee when he took Claire's hand :D In Karl's flashback, he was standing atop a tower with his mom with his mom telling him "fly free." Heavily suggests they were exiled and confined in that tower. Most likely usurped since their empire is still there. I'm guessing Ignacio Axis's is from a family who supports the La Hire royalty and seeing Karl act all carefree is what upsets him. I love how the preview just cut Ignacio while was talking. It's like saying "shut up emo kid" ahaha. Countess Ulshyrra = Miss Minchin lmao. |

| Well... Looks like the feels train has begun. I feel like this anime's going to be one of the better ones of the season, and I'm excited~~! Kal-el and Claire are just so cute together, and that plot twist (can it even be considered that though) was something else. Monday seems like the perfect day for this to air, actually... I needed something on Mondays and I think the feels train anime we've got here is the best fit. |
