| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, the end really got me. The whole episode felt pretty and positive that the bit about the Memory Defect was quite intense in that moment, that was great. Though it was obvious that Chihiro wasn't the same person as in ef's yesterday, but I didn't expect something like that. ef is really pretty, the animation, the ED, sunshine and water... they even shape the mouths of the characters according to the words they utter - that's pretty amazing, especially on close-ups. The bit at the end, where all those scenes were shown very quickly did also look damn nice to me. I'm looking forward to more. |

| Like the last episode I found It spectacular. The story is intriguing and progressing at a nice rate while not losing interest. And again the different ehm camera shots were a beauty to behold. |

| wow, my wild guess of whats wrong with chihiro was right. Glad that my favorite pairing gets some progress in the story, wondering how renji will respond to this. Also wondering what they said at the end that was muted and fast-forwarded. |
| I liked the episode a lot but I felt like it went a little slow. But otherwise, I really liked the scene where she was telling him about the memory defect with the clouds going past her. Very pretty. |

| very nice the first episode i wasnt sold on this anime the second episode was better i love it. just cause i havent said it good ed sequence. by far i like Chihiro maybe it is the eye patch hehehe cant wait to see how it develops some more also hiro likes miyako since he himself told her about being a manga artist |

| I figured the girl had some kind of memory related problem since she seemed to always be writing on the notebook, and she always asked obvious questions to Renji when they re-met. It's gonna be interesting to see how their relation develops from now on. Just like in the first episode, I loved how this one was directed artwise. Chihiro's voice continues to annoy me though... Still looking forward to the next one. |

| This episode was awesome. As in the first episode, the animation was lovely and it's good that the story progressed further. I caught on that she had a memory problem, obviously from her diary/notebook, it pretty much told her everything about the previous day. It's so sad though, 13 hours! =\ |

| This is seriously turning into a very intriguing show. Chihiro's problem threw me for a loop, I figured she had memory problems but not to that extent. This episode was nice all around and the animation quality just amazes me as do the characters. I can say without a doubt I can't wait for the next episode to see what happens next |

| wow that was a nice curve ball. I have one prediction though, the three main girls each have their own problems and it was just random that they met the three main guy characters. If you noticed the girl with the manga guy is color blind. Watch ep 1 at the snow part and you will know what I mean. This show is really weird, theirs no real way of telling what the plot is or what it's supposed to be about, which is neat. The graphics are also amazing! I can't wait till the next ep. |

| Hehe, so i was right ^^. The 2nd time Chihiro met Renji i straight away thought "she's got a memory defect". And what do you know, i was right ^^. As soon as i saw Chihiro get that message from other purple haired girl (forgot name ;;) i straight away thought twins, and i was right at that too. This is probably my 1st/2nd ish fav anime of the fall season so far, its just superb ^^. oh yeah, and great engrish ending (probably gonna be op from now on) ^^. |

| firstly, i had no idea what was going on whatsoever, i am starting to understand the plot a little bit more now, i did notice that chihiro was kinda odd asking if he was renji, my first assumption was that she was blind. man am i stupid :P, now i see that probably everybody in this anime is kinda connected somehow, i hope. liking the art and the new ED, awesome btw |

| I LOVE this. the animation is SPECTACULAR, the story is ABSORBING, the characters are INTRIGUING.. Not to mention it has an amazing sound. now... I am waiting for an OP... and yeah, I figured out in the first ep she had that memory problem.. |
| Eh, I'm used to Chihiro's voice already. And it was obvious that she had some memory problems, but I was still surprised when Chihiro revealed she has a memory defect. I had some other predictions in my mind. |
| chihiro's voice is a little annoying, but i kinda figured she had amemory problem since she said in the first episode that she couldn't live without her notebook. i'm really liking the renji and chihiro story though. this show is just so captivating so far, the music and animation are beautiful, and the story is interesting =) |

| I really liked this episode, but I'm yet sold to this anime. The ending was quite unexpected (at least to me). One thing that I love in this anime is the quality of the animation and art. I also like the way they matched the words with the characters mouth (as was refered in the first post). |

| I loved this episode. It was obvious to me she had memory problems but the true extent is worse than I thought. Now I see why Himura told Renji to be prepared. This show is proving to be more interesting now. |

| Hmm, the whole Renji Chihiro ordeal might turn out to be like 50 First Dates but hopefully without the suck. It's interesting to see a show like this that actually features several main male characters rather than just one. |

| As I saw "50 First Date" in like 2 weeks ago, I found it a bit disappointed about it [as the film explored most of the 'point' and possible 'twists' of the illness]... but anyway, I do like the story, the camera shots and the quality are great and the music [specially this ending] was pretty well-done xD I just find the anime kinda slow =s |
| Heh, unlike what the general sentiment seems to be, I actually find Renji's voice to be mildly annoying, and not Chihiro's. Otherwise, a nice episode+ED, and I'm looking forward to the rest. |

| As of the second episode I can say I start to fall in love with ef, this seems like a truly awesome anime. I found the whole memory defect thing a bit sad tho'. I'm wondering when Hiro and that other chick will get more screenplay, somehow their story fits me more. And the animation, ahhh! <3 |

| yeah the premise is stolen directly from that movie with Adam Sandler...umm..."50 first dates" yeah :-) but i felt it would be like that from the 1st episode this anime is sooo...Shaft...you gotta love(not) the random railroad frames or the town pictures/shooting hoops that appear all of a sudden 4/5...i'm a bit disappointed so far |
