| The only bad thing I've heard about this anime is that the subs are blazingly fast. Not sure if true or not.... Nor am I sure if that's a factor of this not being in the top 10 but I'd imagine some viewers being off-put by having to pause and play constantly or slow it down...idk. Still gotta watch this myself. |

The dialogue is indeed very fast, the fastest i know of, but it's not unreadable, a lot of people got used to it after one or two episodes (me included) I always tell people not to be scared of the first 3 minutes, the amount of dialogue they throw you is ridiculous, but there's no reason to worry about them. I know a good amount of people that dropped this at the first 3 minutes. |

I didn't think the first episodes were that bad. Anyways the hook is supposed to be the last couple of episodes. There's a reason why each episode seems to be kind of similar with just the club changed. |

| MAL ratings are shit? Anyway this was an 8/10 anime for me. I enjoyed it a lot but I'm a sucker for anime that at least attempts to be unique. Generally something this abstract and different from more cliche anime will turn off a lot of viewers and the dialogue takes getting used to. |

I also did not think FLCL was that pretentious, my biggest gripe was the poor characterization of some of the characters, especially Haruko and Naota's older siblings. |

| Because not everyone has to think the same things as you. Personally I found this show to be 100% unengaging, by episode 4 I couldn't resist it anymore and had to drop it. Nothing, simply nothing caught my attention here, the show was completely unable to make me care for anything. | Because the show is a prententious bs with good animation and lot of dialogues that makes it look deeper than it is. It is a simple show with nothing interesting nor remarkable besides the animation and soundtrack, things that don't add anything for these types of shows imo. You are joking, right? I'm watching the show without any issues with english subtittles and english isn't even my native language. |
