| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great episode. All I have to say is, would you like some Ramen? I was confused about a few things in the episode, looks like they switched the order of several scenes around, and next episode seems to have filler content concerning the guy who Ichigo beat up. I guess changing the pacing around is the only way to keep the anime from catching up with the manga. |

| Meh. Boring plot, except for the stuff about Ichigo`s dad. The animation quality has gone down quite abit since last time I watched Bleach, which was 312. Thought it was still fillers becaus of the shitty animation quality :P I should have just continued to watch Sengoku Basara instead, way better then Bleach now. |

| Nice episode. Mostly i like Bleach for awesome fight scenes, but apparently Kubo can make interesting interactions between characters too. Surprised to see Ichigo's boss actually showing up. I thought she was just a quick joke of how dem bitches want but cant have... Ururu. It was a year and half time skip! You didn't ride the buss and come back as a teenage girl. This isn't a soap opera...mostly. Orihime was pretty cute when she was in Ichigo's room. Though the somewhat cheap animation really shaved some of it away. And that was probably the most brutal beatdown in the entire Bleachverse just because of how they showed the aftermath: Cutted up school bag with blood, glasses with blood on the lens and finally Ishida on the ground. And it was already dark so he had probably been there for at'least 30 minutes for the sun to go down before the paramedics got there. |
| Gaaaah, the animation quality gets only worse and worse... Why, Oh why the fillers are always animated better? And these two episodes feel like the first episodes of Bleach. They're just too goofy, not funny at all. But this episode's end was tragic, though. :'( Can't wait for the next episode, but the animation just don't seem to improve... |

| Well, they did sort of make it look like Inoue had feelings for Ichigo, but maybe she is just concerned since Bleach really doesn't do romance. I liked Uraru tickling at the end |
| I loved the episode. A really promising start of the ark, which is like a bleach shipuuden xD if u ask me. There are a lot of interesting characters for who i cant wait to learn more. The most interesing for now in my opinion is the guy that attacked Ishida. Who the hell was that freak. Looks like there is a lot to learn form the next episodes... I cant wait to see more. |

| I think the pace of this arc is VERY nice. They're not trying to save time by dragging out the chapters, but making nice concise episodes. It's really been pleasing me more than the manga so far. I can't wait for that scene with Ichigo and Orihime next episode.. it'll be funny :) Ururu looks like a slightly changed Rukia IMO. I can't wait to see Rukia's hairstyle animated! FULLBRING. Don't like it, but the anime is making it better for me :D |

Have to disagree with you about brutal beatdowns tho ... you clearly forgot the Soul Society arc, where Byakuya slaughtered Renji like 3 times and fucker still kept getting up after bleeding a volume of blood roughly equivelent to the Red Sea. Still, nice episode despite occasional bouts of cheap animation. The manga lately has almost seemed just a first draft of the anime, with more gore left in. The anime's been adding to the story and expanding as it goes. Even the filler arc helped satisfy my curiosity about Kon. Looking forward to seeing rest of the Fullbringers, not so much the filler scenes next episode but maybe it'll be decent. Those thugs did kinda disappear after the mass beat-down, but you'd think they'd have disbanded in disgrace after that, instead of being stupid enough to fuck with the dude's friends some more ... considering that was clearly Ichigo fighting at half-interest at best, I personally would NOT want to make him actually pissed off. 4/5 |
| I like it so far. It feels very (the previous episode, too) different to your usual Bleach, but it's nice. Especially after all that fighting in the filler arc, fighting the same people over and over even. I wonder where all those mysterious guys appear from though, and why none of the previous mysterious guys does know something about them, only the other way round. There must be a nest somewhere. The Vizard, the Bount, Muramasa/Kouga, Kageroza, Arrancar and so on. And now one or two or who knows how many new factions now one does know a thing about (though it wasn't revealed yet if they know, they usually don't at first). Of course it's needed for the story, they drag out most arcs long enough, but still. Maybe they should have a squad dedicated to keeping the archives up to date etc. Or at least establish a close relation like between the Onmitsukidō and squad 2, or squad 12 and R&D. Currently, they take ages to find stuff, if they even have something about them in the archives. Hitsugaya is good with paperwork apparently..or Ukitake, he can't and/or does not fight much anyways. So squad 10 or 13. If Rukia would know more and/or would have direct access, without habing to wait for Urahara to get off his lazy ass, it would sure come handy. And neither squad has a know specialty yet |

| I liked the manga arc better, i have a felling this will be drawn out longer than necessary. Ichigo's boss is awesome. Was it just me or is it magical how she kidnapped Ichigo? And the music at 6:20 is one of my favorite Bleach OST's Karin is awesome too, he disposition reminds me a bit of Rukia. Hope there's lots more about Isshin (love him! sooo underated) and the boss (would b awesome if she was a former shinigami too or had some other connection to SS) in the future. poor Jinta lol! |
| I'm not sure why it is, but for some reason, the end scene where Uryu is sprawled out on the pavement and the cops pull up unnerved me more than almost any other injury I've seen in Bleach. I mean obviously he'll be alright, but idk the fact the cops showed up and his glasses and bag being splattered in blood bothered me more than the others.... I guess maybe it's because he seemed more "human" and vulnerable with the police showing up and all. Idk if I've ever seen him look that vulnerable before :/ And yeah the whole thing with Ururu and Jinta looking like 5-6 yrs has passed when it's only been a little over a year is weird haha |
| Oh and I can't wait for them to get back to the Soul Society already... lol. My fav characters by far are in the Soul Society (except for Urahara) so I hope we get to see more of them soon... this arc seems super weird so far |

Also love that anime team took time to the beat down itself, displaying all important things like the lights that go off when the guy moves, every time he hit the surface and etc. As for Ururu and Jinta - well we know they are NOT normal humans(another bleach mystery left to be expanded upon in future) so its not surprising they would age differently. | Nice episode. I LOVE Ikumi! She almost looks like Kukaku Shiba from the Soul Society at first. Orihime as ditzy and lovable as always. Interesting conversation between Karin and Urahara. (Plus that Ginjo raises a good point about how much Ichigo knows about his family...) All that aside, can anyone tell me (unless it will be explained shortly in the next few episodes) why this arc is called Fullbring? | Okay just to be fair, Kubo mentioned this in one of his interviews. He has no plans to add romance in Bleach because he wants Bleach to be a solely action story. Adding in stuff like romance will only complicate things. Which I agree.Now there are numerous doujinshi of different pairings.. if two characters are paired together by Kubo, then these doujinshi might become fewer.. besides, no pairing will be able to satisfy alllll fans (except gin x rangiku).. Back to this weeks episode..... poor Ishida. Out of action from episode 2 onwards of the new arc. =x I think we can expect a back story of isshin soon although its not in the manga yet either. In a separate tv interview, Kubo promised a back story soon. And this weeks episode brought back the topic of isshin's past. Im quite excited. There might have been something between ginjo and isshin in the past. Rmb that isshin didn't use his shinigami powers for 20 years. |

I'd love to see him explain how he let his son on a dangerous journey to a place that had tons of people stronger than him while in Karakura. And not hunting down the hollow that killed his beloved wife. And how no one knew the name Kurosaki in soul society. Sure maybe he didn't know he was going to Soul Society, but he had to have noticed Rukia and her sudden disappearance. And he was good pals with Ukitake, so maybe he would have found out about it from him? Also he could have had Ukitake open the portal to Hueco Mundo and hunt the hollow down based on the reiatsu mark he must have left on his wife. |

| I really don't get what people are talking about with 'bad animation' the quality is really good and seriously compared to the earliest episodes, everything is better in those terms. Ummm, Jinta.... Wow that's all I have to say on that. And why would it be so bad if Kon stayed with Ichi? Cause I don't see any harm in it. Ah... now I remember what I wanted to say.... those sideburns of Ichigos... Yeah- not so sure I'm exactly feeling that style. |

| Great episode, Ichigo's boss is crazy! She reminds me of that girl with the fire crackers. I'm really digging this new arc, not too much action but lot's of comedy, just how Bleach was at the beginning. |
| Loved the entire fight with Ichigo/Ishida vs Delinquents. It was funny how they were having a casual conversation while fodderslapping 20-30 people at the same time. Ichigo's Boss is awesome! I hope she gets an important in all of this. The new guy seems to be playing with Ichigo's head, I hope we actually get some more background info on Isshin and Urahara. I'm really starting to like Karin now as well. It looks like she'll be a major player in the story some day. It was cool seeing Jinta and Ururu's new looks too. Also, Orihime hasn't changed one bit. ^^ ISHIDA!? |
