Really deep episode and yes tears flowed again but also rage in the following, as much as I understand Yukiatsu for doing this to Anjou I still think one thing: Yukiatsu GTFO from Anjou! Right now! Look at what he did to Tsuruki's feelings in the spoiler I admit I got much more sold on the hug of Menma to Poppo in the following,  much better one than the first one. It was to nice.

| Floating objects!! No actual Chiriko time...Out of all the characters, I feel extremely bad for her. She basically is still dealing with the fact Yukiatsu can't get over Menma or the fact that he knows exactly how Naruko feels with Jinta & comforts her. Yukiatsu is pretty blind how he doesn't see that he's doing rather the same thing that Menma did to him... And this jealousy scene came out right when I was finally feeling Chiriko & Naruko can be friends again & actually call eachother by their nicknames... Don't know if it's just me but, I can't feel bad for Jinta anymore. His character improved to the point where he isn't as pitiful anymore, while Chiriko's, Yukiatsu's & Naruko's totally went down hill into top 3 pitiful characters in the show, IMO. | I just watched the raws cause i couldn't take the wait. UTW will be delayed this week. The living room scene was funny. The freaked out looks on their faces when things were being moved around by Menma was priceless. More hilarious was Anjou and Tsuruko taking turns hugging each other out of fear. I'm sure Yuri fans are swooning over the possibilities there. The walking home scene from the gang seemed serious. This is where not knowing Japanese hurts the most when watching raws. Menma thanking Jinta in her sleep was sweet. Jinta still is conflicted though. It's obvious that the whole "granting her wish, she'll disappear" thing is starting to weigh on him. Anjou still loves Jinta. it's obvious from the pained expressions she makes throughout the episode. Jinta apologized to her at the shrine, I'm not sure if it was for the epic confession scene from EP 8. It did take Anjou by surprise. But, Menma being her goofy self stopped the moment and caught Jinta's attention and Anjou quickly realized again she's still second place at the moment. Yukietsu going straight to Menma's dad was a surprise to me. I was thinking Jinta was going to find a way with Menma's brother. The fact that he was willing to drop to his knees was even more surprising. It did help though. I think the dad was leaning towards the mother's view that they were "fooling around" it really changed his perception of the situation that "these kids are dead serious about this". It might have been what won them over. The yukietsu/jinta scene afterwards is total angst ridden. God, Yukietsu must hate Yadomi sooo much now it's unbearable. Kicking the post in anger was fitting expression to how much hate Yukietsu must feel towards Jinta. Poor Tsuruko can only sit back and watch him self destruct again. Menma seemed over the top. I guess her childlike exuberance is getting the best of her. She is seeing her friends fulfilling her wish and it's making her very happy. But it is also making things awkward. Anjou looking on and having more flashbacks and realizing her guilt and her second place status is getting to her. Yukietsu can't help being envious. The next scene bothers me greatly. Yukiestu's intentions better be on the up and up and that he's not toying with her to get back at Jinta. On top of it Tsuruko was looking on and it's only making her more jealous cause now she'll feel like third place. The final scenes really are putting the main theme of "losing Menma again" deep in Jinta's mind. It's starting to weigh on him more and more. Anjou put that thought into his head and now it won't come out. The riverside scene was eerie. It seems like it might have been the place where she died. Jinta looked deathly afraid of her going into the water. I liked how this episode gave you a sense of silliness in the beginning, but turned more serious as the episode went on. It wasn't AS epic as last episode but i have a feeling it's mainly a setup for the final two episodes where the wish and consequences of it are played out. |

| I actually like Yukiatsu and Anaru together. o___o Then again It's probably just because I REALLY don't want Jintan and Anaru together no matter what. (Even though it's an unpopular opinion. I'll seriously RAGEQUIT if Anaru and Jintan get together) Seriously though, Yukiatsu and Anaru are in the same shoes. Yukiatsu is just a bit crazy, but they're really both the same in a sense. Even though it's really sad for Tsuruko, I don't think an insane guy like Yukiatsu deserves her. D: MAYBE PAIR WITH POPPO?! LOLJK, THEY DON'T REALLY MATCH. I don't get why he's not in any pairings though. LOL, just because he isn't thin like the other two. >___> |

| the episode was good, then suddenly, yukiatsu x anjou scene, FML i dont really like that pairing... its better anjou ending up with no one so that i will live happily ever after... yukiatsu x tsuruko is way better... but in the end, i wager that there will be no pairing stuff on this anime, menma will just disappear then end of the story,,, >.< oh, and i wonder what poppo was about to say,, is he about to say "did you like me?" to menma YUKIATSU x ANJOU FML if this happen |

| I don't really want Yukiatsu to end up with Anjou or Tsuruko. The episode was amazing, and I was freaking out when Menma stepped in the water. I was really afraid something was going to happen, like she would disappear. I wonder why she can only write in her diary or carve things into the secret base?! And hooray everyone finally knows and believes she is real! |
| mmm....gotten boring. I gotta dropped at exactly when that guy started begging. At this point I'd rather finish Deadman Wonderland than this. Ano Hona is very similar to Clannad with the first arc. Too much time dedicated to the fireworks problem IMO. Maybe I'll just watch the last episodes and skip the rest as I'm sure I won't miss much. |

| A particular mix of emotions right off the start. Everyone watching Menma cooking was pretty funny with the mix of fear and eagerness. I just had to laugh at Poppo eating his and crying. And Tsuruko hugging! Ahahah. X3 It seemed like they were getting along better but then she just had to see Yukiatsu with Naruko. The girls probably understand each other on a different level. Feelings of inadequacy when meansured against a dead girl. Yukiatsu picked right back up at the sadly needy ways. Again he says something that I think applies to him. When he said he wanted to send her to heaven to me it sounded like if he couldn't talk to her, no one could have her. But he goes and does something that makes me think more positively of him again. Probably feels he wasn't good enough in the past and he isn't good enough now to see Menma. I wonder why Menma couldn't write on paper outside of her diary. What's so important about that? Did they even look at the other pages now that I think about it? And what will happen once she runs out of pages. I guess there's always whiteout or writing in pencil. And hey, Poppo was drinking out of Jinta's cup. I thought they would go into more serious material with Poppo. But looks like there is something bothering him, might not show until later. When Jinta took a flying roll down the hill I thought for sure he broke something. And that he was going to drown from a leg injury later. But whheee, when he asked Menma to stay forever my heart stopped. |

| very nice episode... feel sorry for tsuroko. i think yukiatsu is very rude to not notice tsuroko feelings even though she's following him everywhere. well. its not like anaru is getting together with yukiatsu. go tsuroko. first slap him very hard and then tell him about your feelings. seriously. jintan can be with both menma and anaru for rest of life.. lol. one ghost and one real. |

| @ ^ ROFL, I don't think she'd freeload off of yukiatsu's house, she doesn't seem really comfortable around him, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for to get together. XD /gets thrown out the window by everybody that hates that coupling. The JintanxMenma moments were so adorable they made me tear up quite a lot.. Jintan realllly cares about Menma.. The part where he hugged her was really cute. @_________@ Jintan seems to have a really bad case of necrophilia. I hope anaru get's over Jintan and Poppo gets a girl of his own. xDDD ;;;; |

| I do not want to see a Yukiatsu and Anjou together. That is just wrong. He should be going out with Tsuruko is possible. Did Poppo like Menma too or is he just trying to find out if Menma liked Jinta or not? I think it's obvious that the only way for her to communicate is through that diary of hers. It's like spiritual or something like that. |

| So much hate for Yukiatsu and pity for Tsuruko. XD Bleh, I feel like I'm the odd one out because I really don't dislike any of the character. Menma is at times irritating, but that's it. I wouldn't mind if Anaru and Yukiatsu wound up together, but it's hard to tell just how serious Yukiatsu is. I mean, he still likes Menma. Anaru is still likes Jintan. It's like they'd just be licking each other's wounds or something. Well, depending on how it's handled, we'll see. Either way, I'd feel sorry for Tsuruko being left all alone since I've been waiting for something to happen between her and Yukiatsu since they were introduced... And Poppo, oh my God, poor guy is all alone. | Well Yukiatsu and Anjou picked up where they left off at the train scene a while back. Yukiatsu asking her out. I did not think he would have been serious back then I might have thought of it as a joke when he caught her being forced to go a love hotel by a friend of her 'so-called' friends. By the looks of the preview anjou might be going that date, who knows the previews can be misleading. So far this series has never ceased to stir emotions every episode. I give credit to the writers. With 2 episodes left how will it end? |

| wow, one more minute of episode and i would have cried. It was such an intense episode. Damn this show will never leave my fav list T_T Anyway, first and foremost WTH!!!!!!??? Why does every guy in the show has a crush for Menma?! i mean she was cute and kind and fluffy and all, but for god´s sake, when i heard Poppo in this ep i was like O_O . I could never imagine he also loved her. what a surprise. and a bad one if i might say because it is already enough to have Jintan and Yukiatsu fighting for Menma´s love. The most cool part was when Menma started to lift things in the air. Kinda creepy but so funny, i just loved their faces. And no matter how everyone criticizes Yukiatsu, he surely was the best for me in this ep. Thanks to him they will be able to make the fireworks, and wow, guess what, he is not selfish like we thought. He actually wants to send Menma to Heaven, he really cares about her and is thinking about Menma. Jintan is actually acting selfish by being lead by his desire to have Menma by his side forever. It might work and be cute since they love each other, but...im not sure if it is the best option. Menma needs to go to Heaven and rest in peace. Everyone needs to start moving on. Now its shipping time! XD OMG. I was Anaru x Jintan, now im starting to see more positive things in Anaru x Yukiatsu. It could work and they would make a perfect balanced couple. I like Tsuruko but...i dont see chemistry between her and Yukiatsu. The worse thing in this show is that besides Menma x Jintan, all the others are in unrequited love. Also, i dont like the fact that Poppo joined the Polygon, because c´mon, in reality, if you have a group of 5 friends, you have like the chance of two of them becoming a couple, because all the others usually remain as friends. No romantic feelings, you see. Even if many people dont believe in friendship between girls and boys, the reality is that, YES, you can have a male best friend even if you´re a girl or vice versa and never fall in love with him. /ends rant. oh and btw, iam the only one who thinks that there is another major flaw that is: Why the anime has that name which mentions a flower, and why they only talk about/show flowers in ED and OP and till now, he haven't seen not even one reference to a flower in the episodes? and finally to finnish Loved the voice actors. and the new instrumental song that played when Jintan was running to catch Menma was so perfect *.* |

I think he did like her, I watched the ep online so I can't look back at it, but I think what he said was roughly: 'back then... about me... did you?' in Japanese, but the translation wrote 'back then, did you like...?' basically he's saying did you like me back then, but omitted the rest of the sentence due to embarrassment XD In one of the previous eps he did look desperate when asking Menma to show herself. Back then, I thought it was because he had some ulterior (monetary) motive, but I guess it's because he likes her as well, lol. |
| Okay this is it i find Yukiatsu really annoying...at some points i cant even stand it but well after watching him beg i finally thought he may not be such an *** but still i don't like him. I feel so sorry bout Anaru i hope things work out in the future (That future doesn't include Yukiatsu...and if it does i'm going on a trolling spree...) but then again it looks like Jintan would never lose sight of Menma in his mind Preview hints to the finalization of the Hanabi well now we get to see how everyone reacts when it launches (still i don't think Menma will go to heaven by doing this) |

| The part with her not being able to write on the paper, I think it has something to do with her only being able to write on objects that she knew when she was alive. Since the diary was hers and the secret base so familiar, that's probably why she could write on them, but not the random paper/pen. I had always thought that the cause of death was her falling off the bridge, and it's probably true considering what they showed in this episode. I was scared for a moment though near the end, I don't want Menma to just disappear out of the blue without everyone being able to say their final goodbye. Give me my tear filled goodbye, dammit. ;_; Nice shirt that Anaru is wearing..."Pig" lol. I feel a little bad for Tsuruko, she probably likes Yukiatsu. But I really don't see Anaru and Yukiatsu ever dating. I'm hoping by the end Jinta and Anaru start dating, and Tsuruko and Yukiatsu. Poppo is forever alone. Just 2 episodes to go. ;_; |

| I was under the impression that Menma didn't "grow" in terms of appearance, height etc. It surprised me when Jinta mentioned that she grew like they did. That begs several questions, especially as it highlights the fact that 'time' for Menma hasn't stopped. I loved the Tsuruko-Anjou interactions this episode. I do hope to see more and would be greatly pissed if Yukiatsu served as a tool to create a rift between the two. BTW, I thought that the number of episodes was still unknown? Therefore the question mark, no? |

| Yukiatsu's motives seem suspect at best. He is clearly disturbed by the fact that Jintan is the only one who can see Menma, and him trying to get the wish fulfilled shows me that instead of wanting what's best for Menma, he wants her out of Jintan's life. There is a clear jealousy on his part, and him trying to force the issue asking Menma all those questions show that. This thought was then enforced further when he kicked the crap out of that poor fence post after Jintan's chance meeting with him. Seems like he's doing all he can to spite Jintan, and I'm beginning to wonder if him asking Anaru out on a date is because of this as well. Getting one up on Jintan in this respect is probably his best move especially after they send Menma to heaven. That leaves Jintan with no one and I can definitely see that in his train of thought. Poor Tsuruko misinterpreting the scene will probably create some tension between her and Anaru as well. Seriously, the guys (other than Poppo) are really screwed up in this group. |
