Whoa, Tinasha and Oscar's relationship sure moved onto the next level lol. Jokes aside, she is still serious about her duties but supports Oscar in any way she can. Their relationship is now much more intimate.

Tinasha however does seem to have some insecurity about herself. Still, I think their relationship reached a peak this episode.

Tinasha needs more time about marrying Oscar, but it is totally fine. In the end, she will accept to be his wife, they deserve to be together. I bet Oscar or Tinasha would do anything for each other to protect themselves.

Farsas Kingdom has been under attack. There seems to be an outbreak of demon brought by Travis, highest demon. Tinasha is set to kill Leonora, The Witch That Can Not Be Summoned. She used to be lurking in shadows and destroy many people.

Whether Tinasha’s spell killed many people or not, one thing is for sure: She is able to protect Oscar and be on his side. The marriage would be a success!

I'm sad that the prince is no longer a virgin, but at least his red hair guard still is (I assume).

Meanwhile that Demon King lives hundreds of years but clearly not long enough to realized that he can go after men too.

This episode was very curious man, at the beginning of nowhere they appear in bed naked clearly after the act, and then they get into a bad sex and the whole kingdom already knows that she is his fiancée hahaha and it was funny to see her reaction, the king of the demons stole the show too much giving moral lessons along with the princess to the witch and in the end he ends up hitting on her boyfriend hahaha sensational stole the show, and in the end we have the hook for the war against the witch who can't being summoned, this final stretch of the anime was going to be incredible.

“I don’t know about marriage. I’d be happy just being your mistress” Waaait so did they do the deed or what? If so, the fact Tinasha is ok sleeping with Oscar and just being the mistress is definitely very unique for the medium, but understandable considering how witches are viewed in this society and the things that some witches have done.

Love the with great power comes great responsibility-esque speech Oscar gave Tinasha. Power doesn’t have to inherently be evil. Just teach the kid about the value of lives and why their power should be used to protect people and they’ll be fine. Trust in your parenting!

Even with the rushed pacing, I love how mature the characters in the story act and how they just have these real ass convos face to face, no drawn out drama.

Still, I think Tinasha taking some time to think about marriage before jumping in is also very valid. Yea she clearly loves Oscar and all, but marriage is a commitment and she’s been alone for so long. It’s a big lifestyle change and you don’t want to rush into it. Just enjoy the moment and take it day by day.

The demon lord Travis actually ain’t half bad. Thought he was just taking advantage of Aurelia, but looks like he does really care for her. Can’t wait to see how he responds to Leonora’s assassination attempt on her.

When you see all the evil witches and powerful magic users in this world you definitely understand Tinasha’s hesitancy to settle down and have kids with Oscar, but between Aurelia and Oscar’s lectures, I think we’ll see her mind change soon.

Good episode so many cute Oscar and tinasha moments, the bath scene, the constant lap sitting etc., but I hate they left the opening scene ambiguous 😭

Sweet Tinasha x Oscar stuff, they've been busy making love. I'd like to see their child. The demon guy seems interesting and doesn't seem like a bad guy. New witch is hot but she's bad.

@Marinate1016 it's just annoying how he treats Tinasha as if she owes him something while he basically coerced her into living with himself, almost got her killed already and in general has only brought her trouble. What I see here is a strong, capable girl being gradually reduced to nothing more than a stereotypical housewife.

That’s.. actually kinda valid and also probably one of the reasons tinasha is hesitant because she’s so used to being on her own and doing whatever she wants whenever.

I feel my brain melting each passing episode. What an uninspired, boring, rushed and superficial way to tell a story. Like not a single scene holds any weight or has any thrill.

Every week I tune in I just cannot even remember what the situation is, and by the end of each episode, almost nothing sticks, so the cycle repeats and I have to watch the end of the last episode so that I can get back into the timeline. This has never happened with any other show I've watched weekly during release.

Tinasha's concerns about having a witch daughter are valid but they should have a kid regardless since as Oscar said they can teach their kid how to use his/her power responsibly.

Regarding the witch who cannot be summoned, I take she's also the one that almost had Oscar killed in the previous episode.

Let's see how the story unfolds with the witch who can't be summoned

This can hardly pass for romance, the show runners completely lost the plot on the romance aspect of this anime, from the cringe forcefulness of Oscar to the incoherent flirting that is terribly out of place, this has been a waste of decent source material in the most spectacular of ways.

This episode felt like a montage of random stories loosely connected to each other, more than previous episodes at least.

So I have to ask:
Is everything we see in the anime also in the source material, but adapted at the speed of 20 chaptrers per episode?
How far along are we in the story right now?

I'm considering reading the light novel, but I'm a little afraid of getting spoiled about the later parts of it by watching the anime. I might be in too deep 😨.
I mostly want to finish the anime to rate it properly, but I could drop it if it would spoil my experience with the original.

- I haven't read the main source, but from what I've seen from those who read the Light Novel it's very rushed
- We are currently in Volume 3, in total there are 6 Volumes. Theoretically this anime should have 2 cours (split) which will cover up to Volume 6.

@gorkthe134th It's incredibly Rushed, they even skipped an entire arc at the beginning of development in their relationship, so i recommend you to read de LN, the anime is currently in vol 3

you are 100% correct. as someone who has finished the LN they are moving at Mach 2 and skipping so many chapters its actually not funny. 90% of their growing realationship has been skipped tbh. I will say this, please go read the LN if you even think you will enjoy the story. also if you are worries about spoilers don't be, with 1 exception. if they adapt it the final episode will be a huge spoiler (I will say nothing more)

edit missed a question. we are in the early to mid chapters of vol 3 right now and yes so far EVERYTHING we've seen is in the LN but honestly just better

The jump cuts in this are very poorly done, they go from talking in their room to meeting the children at the tower to casting the surveillance spell to back in the room and it all seems like one quick sequence, but it's evident it wasn't intended to be.

Still enjoying it though, just wish it had better pacing and composition.

yes ofcourse
reason?
Tinasha said she needs more magic power to cast spirit magic, which a virgin witch can cast it easily (this fact was told earlier in this anime)

2nd, the witch Leonora's servant found out changes in her magic and she concluded she gave in to a man and is preparing for this as a perfect opportunity to kill her

I can't say I'm happy with the animation for this episode. They mostly and utterly ruined Tinasha's movements and reactions into something unbecoming and unnatural.

Another fast paced episode.

P.S. Sad to see them doing it without getting married first. A shame indeed.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Short answer Yes, the anime skipped the entire arc that said if a spirit user loses their virginity they lose their power, however because she is a witch her power would just be significantly decreased. Thus her acting strange this chapter

It's just that most of the things dont make any fuking sense. Like they do but there are so many empty holes in the story. But assuming the LN covers all that, is it still that bad ?

Haven't read the LN, and I wouldn't want to after that "advertisement" for the source material (will never understand those who would, tbh). I mean, the adaptation is terrible in every way. Why would I get interested in reading the LN after that?

The storyline MAYBE could be good without all that time traveling, but I doubt it. As for the characters, we get an obsessive MC who instantly falls in love with the FMC (only because he needs to find a woman who could give birth to his child, very reasonable). Also, after that, he starts to constantly cry "Tinasha" for every fucking reason, which is incredibly annoying. Despite the fact that there are plenty of other options to find someone, he decides to stay with the FMC (again, very reasonable).

Then we have the FMC whose words contradict her own actions. She's like women in those hentais where they hate being raped at the start, but then they start to like it and end up loving the rapist. The same concept follows here, and there is no better comparison for it.

Didn't care much about the side characters. They just look like those NPCs who are supposed to say a few words describing the current situation and ofc to make another excuse for the MC to shout, "Tinasha!!".

Looks like they will be ending the season with this arc.
Still dunno what I feel about the Oscar+Tinasha ship. Still kind of forced, probably lacked build up. From what I heard from people who read the LN, the way they were built up together was much more satisfying.
Right now, I could care less about them getting married or not - I am more interested about what the deal is with Leonora.

Second worst quote of the year after "I just wanted to scare you":

This "romance" is pure garbage, and even the preposterous relationship between the otaku and the princess in 3D Kanojo felt more organic than this complete nonsense where a centuries old witch has less maturity than your average shoujo manga heroine.

Oscar and Tinasha seemingly having done the deed, and the latter feeling fine being his mistress, what exactly is their stage of the relationship?

Tinasha's tower having young boys be her visitor, it may look like a prank, but apart from being influenced by Oscar, these kids have no right being near there due to dangerous entities surrounding the tower. Oscar bringing up the topic of marriage again, and Tinasha acknowledges that, but their possible child may inherit the same qualitites as said prince. That said, the same group of boys going back to see both Oscar and Tinasha, at least she can fulfill their fantasies in one way or another.

From a mistress to fiancée, Tinasha's rather preposterous position being an in-between just baffles me to no end, though she has her reasons. And when the lesser demon Travis interrogates her the same, to only be rebutted by Princess Aurelia, Tinasha definitely feels the pain of being lectured by a human. Sure, Oscar also sensed Travis, though he's not a threat as Gandona is in assassination mode as Travis stops magic servants summoned from Leonora, the Witch Who Cannot Be Summoned, seemingly having a grudge on both Travis and Aurelia.

Working with Travis and Aurelia is the only option to get things going. The romance, however, just keeps feeling forced.

I don't know why the pacing of the anime seems rushed and there are a lot of awkward scenes and the relationship between the two of them doesn't seem to be explained well either.
And the opinion of my friends who read the light novel also said that the pacing of the anime was rushed even though this anime, if it got the right pacing, would be finished in two seasons.
