I started watching it today 5 hours ago and have binged till ep 9. Please recommend 3-4 more anime like this with a lot of thought process fights with wit and psychological battles like games where many small details matter and has great intensity also.

I don’t know if you’ve watched any of these yet, but Classroom of the Elite, Kaiji, and No Game No Life for sure.

I’ve also only watched the first episode of Kakegurui, and haven’t watched Death Note at all (got spoiled 🥲) but as far as I can tell, both of those should be similar to what you’re looking for as well.

Stuff like Code Geass and Death Note have that 5d chess element, but if you're looking for something that's more "quick witted" with the psychological battles and pacing, then yeah Classroom of the Elite is a good option, like others have said. Moriarty the Patriot is also decent, if you are interested in a Sherlock Holmes spinoff.

I am gonna give you the best recommendations for this genre which you should definitely consider.

First I would like to rule out some trash like Kakegurui and some unrealistic overhyped stuff like COTE.

Now for the best ones, we have the Kaiji series at the top. It's one of the best if not the best in this genre hands down.

If you are interested in manga then I would recommend Battle Royale or Liar Game.

If you want something like this in a sports anime then there is One Outs(baseball) by the same author as Liar Game.

What I have recommended is one of the best is proved by them being the inspiration for the freaking SQUID GAME.

I'm watching this rn. It is about a detective James William Moriarty who outclasses even the greatest known detective Sherlock Holmes. This is what i have heard about the plot. Maybe you should try it.

Definitely cote. U can also try kakegurui, death note and maybe monster. Oh and moriartyis pretty good

alice in borderland is the best, sadly there are only 3 episodes out, but you can read the manga, it has amazing mind games! for manga you can also read liar game, it has next level manipulation in it!!

The classic higurashi anime adaptation could fit that bill. Of course not as good as the vn’s but it is pretty good if you watch it.
