There will be a TV show for sure after this one. The last season literally ended on a cliffhanger while this movie is a prequel to the last season that should feature a certain event alluded to in season 3. |

The anime literally depicts them as sex friends as early as the first season, and LN canonically confirms that they are a couple. |

Literally screaming this morning. I’m still shaking lmao. So this movie is gonna cover what happened before s3 events. I’m glad they are answering the left over plot holes from S3. Even so s3 and first inspector were a bit boring tbh. |

According to rumors... this is a prequel movie, not a continuation. For what happened between Sinners of the System movies and Season 3. So we get to see what happened to Akane to land her in that jail cell, and how the SAD band got together in Japan. |

Season 3 and First Inspector were dire but I'm sold on this just because there's so little new content like this out there and SAC2045 was disappointing. If it's as good as even Sinners of the System I'll be pretty happy. Glad the franchise isn't dead at least |

Well, I'm happy this series isn't dead, even though everything went downhill since season 1. But, prequel to a sequel? And in the form of a movie? I mean, just do OVA and try to get back on track with main story if possible with new TV series (preferably not with 8-10 episodes with 40+ minutes). |

RobertBobert said: Movie again? Why not a TV show? It looks like they're not interested in the franchise anymore other than the occasional theatrical project. Well, come on. Maybe if the Psycho Pass crowd went to New York City or Boston, it'd be a Northeast jaunt worthy of a new season, but the Psycho Pass crowd goes to Rhode Island? That's only "movie" length adventures. |

Scene from season 1 that inferred a relationship between Yayoi and Shion. And a little bit more of their relationship is referenced in Psycho Pass 3 and/or Psycho pass 3: First Inspector albeit not important relating to the third season's plot. |
