| Make more seasons, or, god forbid, FINISH popular and/or good shows (Berserk, spice and wolf, no game no life, Melancholy of Haruhi)? Buy and adapt cool stories from abroad? PROPERLY open to the international market (maybe with proper, Japanese made and owned worldwide streaming service with all titles available)? No way! Making tons of anime from the same school and isekai trash manga that no one will ever watch again? Making reboots, spinoffs, and HORRID looking 0 effort 3dcg 'anime'? Yes yes yes! The anime industry in a nutshell. |

| Seriously the OP title! My god, the first attempt should have made it clear that any attempt to capture the magic of the original was nearly impossible. (even without all the fucking bullshit shoved into the attempt) But still more! They should be spending this money on new ANIME series. AT worst, they could be paying to get lesser known and older series dubbed.. Or to get anime series for manga series that never got them! |

I hated Berserk for that, Hated Kingdom for that ( fortunately the story was good and they clarify that in seasons after ), and now with FLCL ? FLCL didn't need a sequel in the first place... If a studio take the project to do a sequel AT LEAST DO NOT RUIN IT and make an effort !! fuk i don't think i ll watch this crap... If you take a job, do it properly.. or just don't. It’s best to just be cautiously optimistic about this and not expect it to be anything like the original series or the sequels. Judge it as it’s own show that just happens to have Haruko in it rather than a FLCL sequel/spin-off

| I'm not so much bothered by the fact that we're getting another unnecessary sequel or that it's in a shitty CGI style (which is itself very bothersome), than I am that we're one week away from its premiere and we still know so little about it, beyond the initial staff announcements and what was in the trailer. No episode count, no English cast list, no Japanese cast list, no idea if there'll even be a Japanese dub... Just the announcement staff and the trailer. Plus the first episode's title and content rating. |
