Is Najimi Osana a girl or a boy? I think that the manga readers might be able to answer this question [No spoilers please, just answer the question if you know]

In the anime itself when a guy confesses to Najimi insisting on wanting to date, Najimi mentions that he's a boy. Happened somewhere at the beginning of the series, don't remember the exact ep number.

Yeah I totally recall that, also when Tadano did not let Najimi take a bath with girls (Tadano remembers them as a guy wearing a male's uniform back in middle school). Yet, there's no official statement that Najimi is a boy,that's why I mentioned manga readers. Thanks for the reply!

He said that just to get that guy away from him but he identifies as a girl I believe that's why he dresses as one he's trans

Is a boy, Tadano clearly treats him like one, just thay the dude is into cross dressing maybe, even in the pool episode Tadano stops him from going into the girl's locker room with Komi, so it's clear lol.

Najimi is Najimi, the point of the character is that their gender is ambiguous. Though they were born male they are most likely gender neutral/fluid or non-binary.

pretty sure he's a guy he rejected a boy when he asked him out and said it was because he was a boy. Tadano also prevented him from following the girls into the changing room when they went to that little water park. He probably just likes crossdressing

Their gender is literally, kanonically "Najimi".
Their biological sex was never revealed, thus is ambiguous and they identify as whichever they conviniently needs at the moment.

Based on form and stature alone, it’s pretty easy to determine that he’s a girl. Especially after the pool episode.

No one explicits Najimi's gender. They tell others they're either male or female depending on what's convenient to them, wears feminine and masculine clothes depending on their mood and when asked their gender they either avoid the question or, as previously stated, answers what's best for the situation they're in.
Najimi is just Najimi.

The mangaka probably did not clarify Najimi's gender following the logic - "Why do you even want to know Najimi's gender? Is it absolutely necessary or something?", I think.
Or the gender is Najimi after all.

It’s Inferred that Biologically Najimi is a boy, however, somewhere between middle school and highschool he changed his gender to be a girl

If anyone wants the evidence behind this I can go find the chapter numbers again but pretty early on Tadano claims to remember him being a guy in middle school and now Najimi claims to be a girl, that’s also why Najimi changes in the guys bathroom in the pool episode

They identify as different genders depending on the situation, so genderfluid. Some things seem to point towards them being dmab (designated male at birth) but there's no official confirmation of that.

I think that Najimi uses this mystery to avoid hurting someones feelings ex. if they confess. If a girl whould confess to Najimi, I think he whould say "I'm a girl". When they went into the watwrpark Najimi used the unisex changing room. Theese clues leave me with a thought that Najimi can be non-binary.
