Lugh got assigned another assassination task but honestly, it feels like they are forcing him into his role. This episode was pushing him to his limits and was also an emotional one for Tarte.

It's just a shame that even if Lugh doesn't take on his assassin role, others will do it in his place. Scary world.

Man... this is a complex situation for Lugh. On one side, he's assigned a mission to assassinate the person he loves, Dia and on the other hand, he has his father's orders that he can obviously refuse but then his father will assassinate her himself. This is such a bad situation. What's with all these animes getting NTR'd recently?

Also, I had my suspicions about Dia being one of them because of the silver hair they all share from the first episode but now it all makes sense. Once again, Lugh showed his sniper skills in this episode as well. Lugh is just too strong in this world. I'm just glad that Dia is alright.

Nah Tarte you deserve better than being toolzoned, atleast have a bit more confidence.

And yeah didn't took that much effort for him to completely obliterate the enemy's army, well was expected i guess.

Episode well made. After episode 10 leaving us in a cliffhanger, the same thing can be said for episode 11 since we don't know what's gonna happen next. First and foremost I was surprised when they revealed that lugh and dia are cousins but at the same time I kinda saw that as a possibility since his mother has the same hair as dia. Tarte crying made me feel pain just like any other romance anime. Overall really good episode can't wait for episode 12.

That was a great episode, I'm glad they didn't skipped those monologues of how they activated their skills and how they fully utilized them.

I'm also glad that the cliffhanger from the previous episode wasn't true, they finally met up in the end. Now I wonder how they will end the war and also what is the Goddess' scheming. lol
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Damn if anyone didn't already love Tarte holy crap that scene was epic. Although I REALLY wish he hugged her or at least put his hand on her head and acknowledged her, he said he would look to her like Maha asked him and he said he would! Get yourself them two mistresses man, it would be too heartbreaking(was soo sad when she was bawling) to have her just be in love with him and sidelined, she may be a servant but she's not Rem damnit(I love Rem but she's fine to just be a side piece minus the piece lol).

Loved this Episode(especially after that slow ass last episode) and can't wait for the finale.

Well they said that lords usually have one or two Mistresses and I'm pretty sure he'll take Maha and Tarte as them and I really HOPE so. Seeing her cry like that was so depressing.

The final mission of Lugh's: to assassinate his own love interest Dia Viekone. But this being a job that he has a choice to turn down, that already speaks a lot of volumes behind it. The Swoigel Kingdom that they cannot get involved with their lease of the Alvan Kingdom, and the Viekone Family restoration of the kingdom. Making matters complicated is that Dia is the gateway to more things in store, and with the in-process of their own coup d'etat, it's just too much to handle.

All it bends down to, is Lugh's decision to save Dia, or Cian will go in place of him, to repay the debts of her father. And concerning how much Dia has curried favour with Lugh in his growing up years, he's indebted to Dia as well...except that Cian's reveal of Esri being once a Viekone daughter makes Dia his immediate cousin, and like father like son, old genetic habits die hard.

Tarte at this point is just being toolzoned for Lugh's benefit, and she might be happy about that because she can be useful to someone, that's her reason to live amidst the cries of pain being thrown aside. OK girl, whatever you say, though you should be rightfully treated more than that.

The Goddess is back for more wacky reincarnations, although getting closer to the end game now will reveal how she managed to secure Lugh's adult self before his eventual reincarnation.

Given Lugh's experience as an assassin, handling the Viekone forces and getting to Dia are as easy as pie, it's expected.

Now I'm eagerly awaiting the finale next week to see how all goes down.

I got scared when Cian asked Lugh to kill Dia, but luckily, it was just to fake her death. I was pretty sure already that Esri was from the Viekone house, given the silver color of her hair, just like Cian had said.
I think Lugh could give more value to Tarte, he puts her aside even though she does a lot for him. I even feels sorry for her when she cries in this episode.
Next episode is the last one and I hope they end in a good and not disappointing way.

She was crying because Dia was in trouble. None of the three waifus are jealous of each other. Each of them have made it clear that Lugh is going to get shared. In fact, Tarte was kinda opening Lugh's eyes to Maha in one of the previous episodes.

So Dia's family ended up backing the losing side huh. Well considering all the good that her family did for the kingdom its a given that there will be plenty of people willing to defend Dia. Tarte really gave it her all in her assist though and her desires showed well how much Lugh means to her. Its unfortunate that Lugh will never accept Tarte's feelings for him though. A mere 200 men being able to hold against twice their number is pretty impressive. But what was even more so was Lugh's rampage through the besiegers ranks. There never was a question of not being able to break through but im curious as to what Dia's thoughts will be of faking her death though. But overall a pretty fun ep that showed the depth of Lugh's love for Dia and Tarte's doomed love for someone that will never love her back.

I wonder, how does all this even relate to assassinating the hero? It does not add up, so far the writing is boring.

AND OF COURSE TARTE WOULD CRY, this is just such a cliche formula
The reincarnation candidates just reminded me on the many pointless attempts of humor.

CGI on the soldiers were awful too.

Great episode! So it seems that the mission to kill Dia was fake and they just want to feel the people about her being dead. Lugh accepts the mission and Tarte uses wind magic to help him get there whilst conserving mana. I felt pretty bad for her when she cried though. I hope Lugh marries her as well as Maha too in the end. Wow. That bow Lugh uses is pretty OP xD.

Looking forward to the next episode!

The last episode ended on a cliffhanger where Lugh is told that his next mission is to Kill Dia. Then it turns out that the mission is to actually save Dia? That was kind of a let down.

The CG in this show was never good, but it was even worse in this episode. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable.

Hopefully the last episode will be interesting.

The CGI was unbearable this episode!
‘It may be admitted that if it were possible for us to have so deep an insight into a human's way of thinking, as it shows itself both through inner and outer actions, that every, even the least incentive to these actions and all external occasions which affect them, were so known to us, then his future conduct could be predicted as certainly as the appearance of a solar or a lunar eclipse.’ Critique of Practical Reason, p. 230 of the Rosenkranz.

Tarte actually have value as Mana user (which increase the chance to produce a heir with mana), that was why Lugh mother accepted Tarte as one of potential partner.

...........................

CGi are pretty bad.....but they only used it for irrelevant mob (soldiers) anyway so I have no problem.

Pity Episode 1 spoils the punchline of the assassination of Dia.

I assumed he picked up the dead female mage from the battlefield to do a redo of healer on the body so its a double of Dia.

Shoddy CGI soldiers but the rest of the episode was good. Felt sorry for Tarte, not even a head-pat before he went off to save Wifu #1.

Looks like we're not going to see the Hero at all this season and it'll just be the typical season #1 "build a harem for the OP MC".

However this has been a surprisingly good Isekai when you consider its the same author as "rape of healer".

looking at 7.5/10 maybe 8 if they nail the finale. - Helps watching the AT-X version with added nipples though.

I thought today was gonna be the last episode. Glad I was wrong.

I think the reason for Dia's "assassination" is too convoluted. This anime has been pretty easy to grasp up until now so why did it feel the need to suddenly get more complicated. My guess is the author wanted to cook up some bs excuse for Lugh to "kill" Dia cos it'd serve as a volume closing plottwist of sorts but we'll see. It’s a shame cause I would've liked Lugh being ordered to really kill her but instead he found a way to resolve the issue with assassination, real or fake so his 2nd chance in life feel more optimistic as he doesn’t have to be an assassin anymore. He's lucky enough to have a supportive dad who's kind enough to give him second choices.

It's ironic Lugh doesn’t want to be a tool but treats Talt as one. Her scene was great. Hope one day he'll see her differently. I liked that Talt was self-aware this entire time mildly confirming the fear Lugh's dad had that she could be dangerous. Since she was useless pre-exile she chose to be useless to Lugh even if it means becoming his tool.

I thought Lugh and Dia looked like siblings due to their hair but never expected that kind of plottwist. Lugh's mom and Dia might come from the same Family but they probably only share the same great-grand parents or something which wouldn’t make Lugh and Dia first cousins. I just find it very strange Lugh's mom never mentioned before where she's from and her relationship with Viecone which is why Lugh was shocked to hear this revelation. Ig that explains how Lugh's father was able to get ahold of Dia so quickly as Lugh's magic instructor.

It looks like the plot will tie up very nicely together by the end.

Animation seemed to improve a little too. (except for the cgi lol)
Very similar to the LN, but Tarte got more screen time, and a few extra goddess scenes.

Other than the noticably bad CGI, it was a pretty good episode. I like how Cian gave him the choice to save Dia because of how he did the same for Esri. Looks like the Tuatha Dé’s have a type.

I also liked seeing Tarte do everything she could to help Lugh save Dia. She did all that even though she knows that Lugh will never love her like he loves Dia. And Tarte crying on the side of the road was absolutely heartbreaking as well.

Seeing Lugh completely obliterate that army without even breaking a sweat was pretty fun to see. He uses his skills to sneak into the castle, like any good assassin would be able to do. And even though it hasn’t been that long since they’ve seen each other, Lugh and Dia had a sweet little reunion at the end of the episode.

As a LN reader, I’m looking forward to the final episode and how they set up a potential second season.

As it turns out, Dia is caught up in a civil war in her own country in which her family is on the loosing end and the greedy nobles want to capture her for her magic and breeding a potential heir. So Dia and Lugh are cousins after all which means that their relationship will be an incestuous on, not that I have a problem with that(incest is wincest). It's just that why is this being mentioned now instead of the beginning. Did the author not realize that audience was going to put two and two together to figure out that both of them were related somehow? Just when I thought the CGI couldn't get any worse with the CG horses, we now have CG soldiers that just stick out like a sore thumb once again making it look like the anime was done with a shoe string budget which looks cheap as hell.

This episode was way better than last week minus the CGI soldiers.

And the award of the worst CGI in anime for 2021 goes to...

Anyways, aside from how low-rent the CGI soldier mob were, this episode was still pretty good. Not only did Lugh's father agree that he wanted his own to save Dia from the civil war she's involved with, but he also confirmed that he too defied his ways of an assassin in the name of love. To drop another bombshell, Esri also comes from the Viekone family, so that does make Dia and Lugh cousins. Most likely not first cousins, but cousins regardless. Despite that fact, Lugh's love for her remains resolute.

I did feel sorry for Tarte, though. She did bloody well to help Lugh to slipstream off of her wind spell to get him to his destination quicker, but the realisation of her being nothing more than a tool and servant to him hurts her, which was showcased as she broke down sobbing. =(

On the bright side, Lugh made easy work of the soldiers and was reunited with Dia, who looked incredibly happy to see him. =3

I assume the next episode will be the last one, so I do look forward to it as per usual.

I believe I read in a forum all three would have died or been enslaved if they hadn't met Lugh. Lugh and his father doing the same thing rescuing a Viokene girl. I was surprised Lugh opened up on the forces besieging like he did i expect him to slip in and out unnoticed.

Since the idea is for Lugh to make his own decision and not living as a tool, wouldn't it be infinitely better if the job was to seriously kill her, and Lugh was the one who came up with the fake death thing by himself? Great episode! Not really that surprising that Lugh and Dia are related in someway, because of the white hair. Like father, like son, white haired supremacy.

Lugh and Tarte running scene was pretty cool, good job Tarte, and also F's in chat.

The CGI didn't really bother me, it did it's job, it's just fodders getting fodderized. That's a cool use of his magic, magic grenade launchers lmao. Looking forward to the last episode, time to complete the "assassination." Hope we get a second season announcement next week.

Also, that letter at the end is probably related to the hero, looking forward to that too.
