| I think it's a bit difficult to get Season 2, but in the future there might be some kind of OVA for the continuation light novel (that's if light novel sales increase). |

If you are 2x you have an entire life in front of you, to completely surrender yourself because of what you didnt do is a toxic message in principle because it is born from hopelessness and lack of thrive, people in real life restart their lifes over and over again, why would you need to re do something at yours 20? That were the original reactions, I think that after the twist they could have changed because it pretty much paraphrase such idea, but him coming back a second time is idiotic too |

You can try to do-over something that cant be fixed (A death, an opportunity), but to do-over your work career at 2x by travelling back to time is basically telling the audience in one way or another that you can't realistically restart your career when you are still a young adult lol That is the toxic message. Yeah not having any attachment to the girl to the point of erasing her from the future because of wanting to remake your past seems strange, and it goes with the previous line of thought too. Why cant he do that in the present? Why cant he make his friends live with their passions again? Are you doomed if you didnt select the correct path from the start? Many people in the past have done it, world is full of succesful late bloomers true, but when presented with the opportunity when you know that your actions had indeed hindered people, it would be silly not to go back, especially when you can enrich peoples lives by doing so. Pretty sure the show hinted at everyone gaining the motivation to do stuff again with the singing and drawing stuff so all was not lost and that its never too late. But I guess he just wanted them to be successful like they used to be and to not get in their way too much this time instead of being a perfectionist and not letting them forge their own paths. I think people are just misinterpreting the moral of story. But it is kinda true that reinventing yourself after taking the wrong degree is pretty much a no go unless you start your own business or something, university is generally a one time gig due to expenses and in the Japanese economy theres little room for error hence the do overs |

Bokutachi no Remake's blu-ray 1st box will be released in 27-10-2021 and the second BD box will be released in 22/12/2021. If the avg sales of both BD boxes are: >4750 = chances are really high for it to get a season two, they'll probably announce it in abt 1~1.5 year at the very most 2750 - 4500 = chances of 2nd season are medium (if the LN sales have increased) or medium-low of the LN sales had a low increased. <2750 = it'll probably never have a 2nd season Note that one of the main funders of the anime is the Chinese company bilibili. China is investing a lot of money in Japanese anime, wich means that if Chinese ppl liked the show, a 2nd season would be a lot more likely to happen. |
