Yea season 3 was definitely the weakest season by far. It honestly kind of felt like filler. However if you can recall, we DID get an amazing 1v1 with Asterius at the end


Season 4 is definitely a BIG step up, and is very action heavy with immense and thrilling stakes at hand. I definitely recommend to continue it.

and yes the Freya ending is nice, she's taking the center spotlight currently, and it's really entertaining to watch

definitely worth it. Most of season 4 was about being in the dungeon, so season 5 being out of it is a good change. Also Freya plays a huge roll after being teased for so long in the series.

Yeah, that's why I think it's so important to know at least some of the language and culture. You'd be surprised at what can even come through in translation if you have some idea of what the source words/phrases might have been.

Japanese is one of the hardest languages, and I wish I had the time to devote to it as a dedicated practice. But I already have so many projects going (I'm a composer and pianist as well and that takes quite a bit of time to polish) that I just can't seem to get ahead on it. Plus, there's really not a whole lot of purpose except for personal curiosity, and that takes away from other things. Oh well.

That's maybe a personality flaw of mine - I don't like doing easy things. I like things that I might fail at.

To be completely honest, i had a peek into your profile as i strongly agreed with a forum post you had written in regards to the rating system. Turns out that we're into a lot of the same stuff which felt like a "hell yeah" moment. So i added you entirely on that note, haha.

A strong pick from this season would be Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. I won't explain why, but you'll have to trust me and go in blind. Dandadan is also a good pick from the season. It's a series that i had been looking forward to since i had been keeping up to date with the manga. I love the bizarre essence to it which really creates a unique and loveable show. Other than those two, the others that i am currently watching this season are also what i'd consider good and enjoyable, but they're continuations of earlier seasons and they didn't stand out considerably.
