DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Haha, Weisz's personality is exactly how I had expected from this adaptation. Shiki's reckless tactic was rather amusing to watch. I'm also actually in seeing some of the other fictional world elements of the show. The bar Shiki and Rebecca went to had some weirdos but doesn't seem too much out of the ordinary. Her reaction to seeing Weisz was gold though. Glad to also see E.M. Pino animated this episode. |

| It's time for the Seiyuu Corner woohoo~! 😊 Here I bring light to the voices that were not announced prior to the start of the anime. This week we were introduced to Inoue Honoka voicing the mysterious narrator Xiaomei and Aoyama Yutaka voicing the villain Cybil/Sibir/whatever you spell it! As for the episode itself it was really cool. I'm having a blast! |
| Pino and Xiaomei finally appear. Good overall episode. Shiki avoiding missiles with his EG was pretty well done and Sibir's robot wasn't bad. That last Pino scene broke me,, seeing it animated brought all the feels. |
| Pretty good episode! I'm gonna take note of that, time doesn't mean shit in this world. My predictions were the same as Happy, In the last episode I thought Weisz found a way to make himself younger while also losing the memories of his older self. Didn't think there would be literal time travel, but we still ain't sure how it really works. That chase scene was fucking awesome though damn. Pino is really cute, that footage in the b-cube was fucked man, I don't care about fucking up the timeline, but please kill that bastard Sibir. |

| Xiao Mei's finally here and she dropped a crucial info to boot. The falling/flying scene was really cool and as usual Shiki's opaf. Also nice Pino's finally here and she's adorable. I can't forgive those Sibir bastards for hurting her. Shiki should kick their ass. |

| As expected its really back to the past scenario. Idk how shit like that possible. However, as the Xiao Mei said in the beginning, left aside that problem first and lets see the first quest of Shiki and Rebecca gathered more crew members. Its for sure was hard. The professor young life really wild, involved with the gangsta at those planet, and had a thief job to survived. Ah, at least they needed something to move the plot more faster. So, thats it damsel in distress the cute sound little Android, Pino ready to served. Idk why but the video looked very wrong. Ofc Shiki shall get mad, and ready to saved Pino's ass as the possible crewmate for the incoming long journey. So, lets go boy! |

| So... Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy are 50 years in the past somehow. They don't know how they got there. And professor Weisz doesn't know either how to get them back to their time period. Sibir is a bastard... Poor Pino. She doesn't deserve that. I hope she gets rescued from them. |

| Xiao Mei with the whole "time is meaningless" narration...that's a huge mystery. Only when the nigh is high then it'll make total sense. We may not have realized it, but this is the start of Hiro Mashima's indulgence into the time travel aspect, and it happens a lot for now that it only produces pieces of the puzzle. A young Professor Weisz, and the evil gang that is Sibir (with the chase scene that screams dope). Travelling into the Norma of 50 years past, and the search for answers, starting with the anti-machine android EM Pino who is afraid of Sibir, and doesn't deserve the ruthless torture of the gang. The past life be condemned of their Rebecca and Happy's perceptions, and feeling bad for a machine is just as real as a human life. Change the past from whence they came from. |

| Well having the trio accidentally travel back in time 50 years makes things more interesting, but they are still going to have to explain it. The animation during the fight against the mech was good and some of the comedy almost made me chuckle. However, I hate that they went down the “bad guy does sadistic shit for no reason” route to give justification when our trio beats the bad guy and takes the robot. It’s a lazy way to write a villain. |

| Great episode things are picking up and holy shit jc staff with that chase scene ! The adaptation continue to do justice to the manga hopefully it maintains this level of quality or being even better as time goes on. Xiomei looks and sounds so goooooood and pink, sybille oh my god let's goo Also it's seems like most 'haters' folks didn't make it to this episode as this discussion thread feel rather empty... |
| Poor Pino! She's so much more adorable in the anime which is saying something cause she's damn cute in the manga! As for Weisz... is it weird that I like him 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 he's a scumbag? haha I cannot stop getting hyped every time Shiki uses his ether gear - it's just too cool! It's so awesome the way he can 'fly' and create such powerful attacks. |

| They did a great job with the animation even though this episode was outsourced to another studio. Sad to see this episode thread quite empty compared to other shonen titles like KnY, JJK and MHA. Hopefully they can keep up with this quality. |

It kinda confuses me that a source from Anime News Network did list AZETA PICTURES and Studio Pastoral on ep 4 while ep 1 was done by JC Staff and A.C.G.T animated ep 3. | we got 20000 years in the future last epsiode (still waiting to know what it means) and now we're 50 years back damn that timeline sure can be confusing lmao no but fr it was a good episode, not the strongest one but still enjoyable with the professor turning out to be a really sketchy guy in his 20s |
| Anime-only That's a twist. I had suspected descendant at times during this episode. So this is Weisz's in the past, before he even met Rebecca and Happy. The animators have really got the falling sideways effect from Shiki's ether gear down. History has already been altered with EM Pino being found by Sibir, Rebecca, Happy and Shiki have to act to correct it. |
