Very proud of him. If you ask me, Dante got every bit of beating he deserved by Asta and Yami. Really, Dante should never underestimate humans again. |

| Vanica is just nasty xD Episode absolutely delivered again. Yami and Asta's fight was a feast, but it's just one damned thing after another. Zenon gotta appear outta nowhere, if I hadn't read the manga it probably would've sent chills down my spine, heck even knowing he would pull up, that entrance didn't leave me unfazed. Not much personality, but an intimidating guy with that unbeatable aura. I also liked the intensity when the Black Bulls were desperately trying to save their Captain. Sucks;/ |

| Man this episode is fire, personally, I am a manga reader but the colourised fight scene was just a different level. CGI use in this episode was okay-ish but other than that I have no complaints. We are now progressing towards a very interesting stage. Last 3 weeks of this anime, I feel a little sad. |

| Wow, what an episode, had high expectations and it didn't disappoint. Asta and Yami vs Dante may be my new favorite fight from the series, the art may not have been quite as strong as the likes of last episode or episode 100, but it was still exhilarating to watch regardless. Seeing the three of them fly around and be in synch was great fun, and of course the moment where Yami throws Asta his sword for the finishing blow was so satisfying. But then Zeno jumpscares everyone and takes Yami, meaning the Spade Kingdom now has captive the leaders of the Bulls, Dawn and Heart Kingdom. Everyone fought well, but this still ended in a massive defeat. I guess now in these last 3 episodes, things will wind down and end on a cliffhanger with everyone strengthening their resolve to strike back before this gate to the underworld will be opened. A couple other things of note, it's nice to see Asta's demon get some more time in the light as that's still shrouded in mystery. I see some people saying they wish the first OP played but I feel it was better without it. Music was still great and helped give the fight some energy. Besides, it wouldn't surprise me if they're saving it for episode 170, as that's serving as the "finale" of this 3 year long stretch of episodes and it's named "Faraway Future". Also, that Gauche and Grey moment was cute, guess we officially have another ship. |

| Yami and Asta duo was so cool. The entire fight was done really well. Asta using Yami's sword at the end was lit af, I screamed at that scene. They beat the shitt outta him but alas Yami still got taken away along with Licht. That last scene was true despair for Black bulls. |

| Vanica is on a league of her own, the nastiness as to be expected of a Dark Triad to use the Dark Disciples. But man, what PURE FIRE a fierce battle it is with Asta and Yami vs. Dante. Asta requesting the Devil's Deal and oath to fight off Dante for 50 seconds, that's no mere trade to deal with heavy anti-magic against the absolute Dark Triad master of a monster. The 1 second flash of Asta becoming Yami...that was EXCEPTIONAL, and I'm speechless beyond words. The big surprise that is Zenon appearing outta nowhere to capture Yami...putting everyone on the spot. That was a rather dark moment to lose the Black Bulls captain...are the Black Bulls outta hope? Hope not... The gradual build-up to hope and despair gets all the better. |

| Asta's finishing blow was pretty good. It was nice to see them fight together but it didn't last long. The other dude from dark triad came and destroyed them, he was so badass. |

| Holy crap, the Animation! It's been top-notch since the start of the arc every now and then but this episode took it to another level. Slow-mo moments, especially the final blow and then the final few despairing moment, was totally on point too. Just the climax the series needed! Can't wait to see the "strongest" person next episode! Lot of hype in the Op so definitely curious. |

| I do wonder what the interest in spiritual users really is for the Dark triad. But besides that, damn the fights are intense this season. Even with the growth Asta has done, still got a lot to learn, just shows how strong these bad guys are. |

Asta making a deal and then working with Yami was top tier! Wish Asta could've gone after Yami T.T. Also, Asta's demon is so cruel to him rip. Next 3 episodes are going to be an absolute ride! |
| Fuck! A well-animated episode! GOOSEBUMPS! Captain Yami and Asta vs Dante is superb! Zenon's arrival is really surprising! Even Captain Yami who is a master of Ki didn't detect his arrival. Seeing the members of the Black Bulls while Zenon is taking Yami is so painful.  |

Ig they deliberately decreased the quality so that this episode could deliver the maximum impact. XD. It is always a treat when these two power beasts come together. It was so satisfying to watch the fight. Dante's reaction was my reaction legit. I was like "I want more more!". I was literally moved. AND WHEN YAMI USES JUST HIS MIGHT TO TOPPLE THAT HUMONGOUS MONSTER!! Yami never ceases to amaze. Noelle and Asta are going to make an epic powered up comeback in the next arc ig. What more parts will Asta have to give up to finally master or at least to achieve 80% Devil powers! or are we going to get another new armor for Noelle! Although there are 3 more episodes remaining, even if they F up the ending, I think Spade kingdom arc has definitely increased the popularity of Black Clover and its overall rating. PS: I don't know whether after Spade arc Overall rating of Black Clover increased/decreased or remained same. I hope it has increased. |

| Was fearful at first cause the fight looked a bit sloppy during the beginning, but once Asta makes the pact with his devil it was straight up fire. Even if I wish they would have used Haruka Mirai, it was still really good, especially considering this will be probably the last big fight of the anime. So sad they couldn't save Yami. Zenon was so savage. Poor Asta, just when he was starting to get strong, his hopes are cruelly shattered ;_; |

| So much to take in this episode and all of it good. Vanica is evil personaified and that fight... that fight was up there with the Yami vs Novachrone one. But those first scenes before the Intro song... I'm honestly terrified of those results as I'm not sure what happened in the manga for that as I only skimmed parts of it. |

| I’m absolutely speechless. Imagine if BC goes seasonal after 170 and can pump out episodes like this consistently. Between this and Boruto, Pierrot SNAPPED this week. The manga wasn’t just done justice, it exceeded my wildest expectations for this fight and arc so far. A lot of this stuff was “meh that’s pretty cool” when reading, but my jaw is Legit on the floor rn. Nacht next week too! They def needed to stop the anime because it’s getting way too close |
