| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, we're getting more into the action in this anime now. Bell's got some quick legs tbh. Poor Bell, felt bad for him when he got attacked but luckily, he had allies backing him up. This episode seems to really take a more serious tone compared to the first one. I can't stand that Apollo guy though. What an ass. He deserved to a thrown glove to his face. |

| Lot's of running this episode and some fights. Seems like the war games might be interesting but we already know some of the people Bell is going to pick. The question is who will be allowed to fight with him during the war games seeing as it's a matter of familia which could be seen as a hostile move. From that point of view Ais might not be able to come. |

| So the Apollo familia attacked Bell and Hestia. Hestia decided to accept the war game which would be interesting but Bell needs to get stronger real quick. Really hate Apollo. He's such a pervert. |

| Jokes aside Apollo's men sure started off their opening strike well with an ambush of Bell and Hestia inside their home. Apollo's a persistent stalker god then huh. Geeze Apollo's no one sure is a jealous bastard. Despite the odds it was hearwarming seeing Bell's allies and friends step in to help him here. Seems the war games also allowed other familia's to start settling their own problems with Bell's allies as well. Hestia willing to leave the city with Bell though was quite the surprise. Still that discussion while cute sure provided the perfect fuel for the war games to escalate. A solid ep that while providing excellent chase sequences and battles also showed just many bonds Bell has forged since he came to the city. In the meantime though Bell needs to not only get stronger but also gain more allies and rescue Lily as well a daunting task. Still having Ais and Tiona helping sure will be a boon in Bell's efforts. |

| Bell Cranel and Hestia are in a serious tight pinch here but the prospects are looking far more brighter with Ais and Tiona around. Main question now is for exactly how long can Hestia delay the inevitable and will Bell manage to brace up in time. Apollo’s family sure didn’t waste any time staging the ambush though, what a devious plan. Looks like Apollo’s reputation away from his Familia is pretty rubbish too, no surprises why. I wonder what happened with Lilli’s case though, is she doing this for Bell’s sake? What’s with the ‘emblem’ there? I’ve a feeling a cho-very strong Familia aside from Apollo’s is working in the shadows here. Interesting little bit with the redhead and the fortune teller (?) there, seems like they’ve gone through what Bell has I suppose. Well, here’s to hoping the other Familias that chipped in for Bell’s sake won’t be getting into serious trouble but well that’s probably to come. Hestia cursing the Apollo Familia for stealing the spotlight there was hilarious, got to love these subtle moments and Bell’s obliviousness to boot. |

| I can't take Apollo seriously at all. The faces he makes are ridiculous enough, but the fact that his voice actor uses the same tone he uses while voicing Sekke from Black Clover makes him even more hilarious. And, Liliruca is abducted, brainwashed or both. I wonder if they are going to do the war game without her or are going to rescue her first (judging by Hestia's word). Anyway, looking forward the war game, hopefully, J.C. Staff will deliver. |

| I wasn't sure I'll like it after first episode. But now I'm hyped. That was great and I hope rest of the season keeps this level. I really wonder how will that end. Between the talk about Apollo never giving up and that girls vision, winning some game could be not enough. I'd love for Bell to target Apollo himself. |
| Kinda strange to see how a familia can just attack another (small) one with supposedly some small penalties. So why other guilds cannot help them, influence and power of Apollo familia, just doesn't feel right and i bet Freya doesn't give a damn about rules (if it's not next plan to see him growing, but the scales feel just too unfair). And why is Mikoto in the ending? Just because she is now very close to them, strange ... |

| Pretty good so far. That prophecy kind of spoils that Bell will somehow own Apollo family. Also, since I am not familiar with source, WILL WE GET TRAINING ARC? Or is it just gonna timeskip to the enhanced Bell? |

| Oh my fucking god Bell is denser than the most powerful black hole. Looks like Hestia only has the "just push him down already" way left to get her point across because words are useless lmao. Hopefully Apollo gets a well deserved trashing eventually. I guess Lili was hyptnotized because there is no way she would just ditch them like that. Yeah I almost forgot, her story wasn't really concluded in S1, she still has to get free of her former familia otherwise she can't level up and stuff. |

| Bell just isn't into Hestia that way. He still dumb as bricks but he's crushing on the blonde hard. The art and animation is great this episode. The girl that predicts the future didn't spoil anything, we all know the OP main character will win. I mean right now he isn't OP but his inherent ability to level up so fast is what makes him OP. Now he's being trained by an OP character, which happened in season 1 (I think) which lead to him soloing a Minotaur. |

| Gosh this adaption is just so fucking good already. As I expected, this is definitely J.C. Staff's priority for this season, if not for this entire fucking year. DanMachi is probably the biggest most hyped thing they are going to release this year, so they damn well better do it justice. And no, there wasn't any brainwashing or hypnotism going on with Lilly. It didn't matter what she did at that point. She couldn't run, she couldn't fight, she had no recourse other than to try and cut ties with Welf and Hestia Familia to reduce any damage done to them once she had been found out. The opponent in front of her was not a fight she, a level one who hasn't been able to level up for a very long time, could possibly win, and it came at the worst possible time when Bell and anyone else who would have been able to help her was already wounded and running. When it rains, it pours. |

| Wow, Apollo sure did not give Hestia's familia a second to run away... he really has a creepy face, power of plots will give Bell the victory, but I doubt it's going to be that easy. These guys are a lot, even if many probably suck compare to Bell, there are still great adventurers among their members. It will be an interesting war to follow. |

How typical, best girl Hestia tried to confess, poor girl doesn't get to hear what she wanted to hear. Bell-kun is alllll over Ais! War game seems interesting, but what worries me most right now is Lili... cause I am sure Bell-kun will get strong and win in the end.
