| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well I'm glad to see the club coming together now and trying to improve their koto skills. Not an easy task but at least they have the mindset for it. They got a month of preparation. Seeing the club members coming together seems like a step forward to being united. Not sure how I feel about Satowa this episode but she can feel the pressure of the competition. |

| Houzuki had hollow eyes towards the end she was really surprised. Anyway the guys are trying hard to make the play a success which would be nice for them tho all of them need to learn new things this includes Houzuki and the captain. |
| Nice to see Chika and the boys hard work ended up paying off. Still timing is just as important as technique. The ability to detect minute changes in sound while impressive sure is one thing thats difficult to teach others. Guess as a result of her family and fame Houzuki never had the chance to try out food that were common among the masses. It was nice seeing Houzuki realise her mistake and become more honest with her feelings. The idea that Koto's are the link that connect the hearts of the players and the audience though was an interesting theory. Can't wait to see Chika surprise the school with his skills. Its sad seeing him be labelled as a troublemaker despite his other skills. An excellent ep as always. Looks like Chika and Hozuki's personality changes are starting to have a more noticeable effect among both the club and each other. It also looks like Chika's attempts to come to terms with his past is also awakening his innate skills at Koto. |

| Great episode again. Nice to see Satowa open up when they had their first dinner has a club. Loved Satowa's explanation on why the Koto and Dragons are linked and it was nice to see how Chika's friends ascertained a nice meaning for the Ryuuseigun they will be performing. That Satowa smile is precious. <3 Wonder how she's gonna react to hearing about Chika's past. |

| They said Koto is made to resemble dragons. Based on the word they used (Ryuu), I am guessing they are talking about the great serpent-like Asian dragons. However, I don't see the resemblance at all. I am liking the story, but the music makes me feel nothing. I don't know what to look for in music to understand if it is good or not. |
| This series is getting better and better, primarily Satowas character development is making it for me. And it should get more interesting, now that she's going to learn about Chikas past. Also can't wait till the performance. |

| This episode was so beautiful and wholesome that I can't even. Nothing like having heartwarming moments in a Saturday afternoon. That granny who repaired their kotos is such a nice person, and she knew Kudou's grandfather too! I love how Kudou was able to get to her, and how he even gave her some nice treats as a way of showing his gratitude. Then Houzuki. Her mother seems to have brought her up with a really rigid, and cold approach. No wonder she has trouble dealing with others. But Kudou said the right thing at the right time. That it's okay to not know how to do something, that they weren't going to get mad at her. Their shared dinner was a really warm and wholesome moment. The whole thing with dragons and kotos? I didn't know that, and it was also beautiful. I like the image they have of their piece now. It will certainly reach others. Then I thought the episode would go in a frustrating direction thanks to those two random losers with guitars, and the prejudices of others. But Kudou saved even that moment by calling Takezou "senpai". And it seems that lack of interest in their performance isn't going to be a problem going by that preview. So it's all fine. And now Houzuki knows about Kudou past, and I'm sure this is going to make them get even closer to each other! I can't wait to see their hard work paying off! |

| Characters are so strong to me. Kudo and Hozuki are incredibly likable as of now, loved how Hozuki opened up throughout the episode <3 I think, my problem with the first two episodes was how it went a little fast and added some drama that i didn't expect. Now that i'm past this, the latest two were really, really good. The trio also isn't just background material, they are well included in the story. The blond guy seems very earnest. |
| Hozuki & Chika are such great characters, with some much depth and personality. Hozuki is very complex and Chika is so kind but so misunderstood. I feel like we need to get to know Takezo more though cause there's the danger that he'll become a plain and dull character compared to the other two |

| Finally an episode where it didn't throw drama around like a ragdoll, also got to see unexpected ship moments This show really does tend to overexaggerate accidental bumping into someone lel |

| Really loved this episode, some character development for everyone and finally everyone is in sync, also Hozuki's reaction at the end intrigued me and left with wanting more. |

It's foreign and our ears aren't so use to this kind of stuff, it isn't like Carole & Tuesday where the music written specifically to make the general watchers emotional. But I think the koto music give it a unique charm I like the music here more than Carole & Tuesday. In my opinion, their music is too Disney-ish for an anime, and doesn't feel right. |

| It's true how just going out with people can make a bond stronger. Takezou is a really good president. I was a little worried at the end when Satowa heard about Kudo's grandfathers shop but I'm pretty sure Kouta knows that it was the delinquents who destroyed all those Koto and not CHika. Chika x Satowa ftw btw. |

| This anime is getting good! The relation between Chika and Satowa his turning really good, although Takezou as a MC is becoming a "conduct" for the story and other club members... Takezou is just probably yet to take a spot light. Like, Takezou background story with his senpais is just a little flat comparing to the other members. Music anime for me is always a thing, but i didn't expect for the character development to be this good, so far that is. I didn't knew the manga when starting to watch this, but now noticing that its probably very good and in "my alley". I'm getting 3-gatsu no lion feelings, wich is a good thing. Hoping to see if this keeps up intriguing! |

| I love this episode I really like Chika and Hozuki. The glassess boy is cool as well. This one of the most interesting Anime this season I never felt such enjoyment factor for a well. I ship Chika x Hozuki haha for fun. I was wondering what was Hozuki. |

| Another nice episode. Glad to see that the other three boys are getting their time as well. I was worried that they'd be left as just background characters, but it seems they have a bit of say as well. Seeing the club struggle to be in sync and then suddenly click was a real heart-warming moment and one that brought back memories for me personally too. Satowa opened up a little bit this episode which was lovely to see. Although, she did look shocked at the end with the mention of Chika's past. There definitely seems to be more to be uncovered on that front and I can't wait to see what the next episode brings. |
| I'm a manga reader so it's a given that I already love the story, but for some reason a lot of the scenes ring hollow to me. I think it has to do with the really empty sound design, as well as that cheap looking animation and scene transitions. I hope only the first few episodes are animated in this half-assed manner and that they've just tried to save the budget for the rest of the series, because it's disappointing tbh |

| Well, this was an improvement in comparison to last episode. It's nice to see Kudou and his friends are doing their very best in every practice. Not to mention that seeing Houzuki finally being able to open up to the rest is quite refreshing. |
| Chika is trying hard thats why we try hard as well. Love those three already, they are not the same repetive bunch who only there for help they have there own thinking and have a past with Chila as well. I hope the Fest gonna turn out well for them, I got bad vibes from that Vice.... |

| They are closer to there goal of being able to play in a month's time Seeing Satowa's eyes turn hollow from hearing about Kudo's incident is surprising, hopefully she will get a better opinion on Kudo |
