| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Haha, Houzuki's facade is such a poker face in public. I'm glad to see Kouta, Michitaka, and Saneyasu show up this episode as a way of bringing more characters in. However, Houzuki is so straightforward about setting up their club lol. Trying to get the school to accept them won't be easy but she has high expectations. Hozuki's personality still seems complicated in this show. |

| So now we have a sad teacher trying to tear the club apart which makes me wonder about the reason, it's probably something related to money but still sad to see. Well i hope they will be able to put up something nice for him. Anyway Houzuki is good at playing tricking people but she is bad at dealing with them personally she is a but to straight forward and a bit to strict which makes her hard to deal with for others. |
| It's obvious Hozuki will open up later and we'll see her as a good girl at heart, but still, her attitude at the very beginning is so outrageous. She's too unfair towards Kudo. The brief performance of grade-schoolers sounded very nice. Three new members were introduced pretty nicely too, I liked how their motivation switched and they got serious half-way through. |

| Satowa's angel mode sure made for a potent weapon. Due to her fame i guess it was quite hard for her to make true friends though. Seems the VP is pretty set on labelling Chika and his friends as troublemakers rather than give them a chance to prove themselves. The insight into how Chika's friends ended up meeting though was interesting as it helped show just how strong the bond between them was despite Chika saying otherwise. The performance by the grade schoolers though was pretty impressive despite their age. Despite the apparent difficulty this piece though will go a long way of showing the mettle of the club if they are able to perform it. Given the seriousness in which she approached Koto its no wonder she ended up chasing away her friends. Here however her seriousness is matched well with Chika's determination to prove himself. Quite curious to see whether they will succeed in learning that piece on time. An excellent ep once again. |

| Great episode again. The introduction to the three new members was pretty nice, I liked the way they presented their backstory and I loved the scene where all three met up to get the hand accessories after overhearing the vice principal's plan. Damn, I wanted to see more of that grade school performance, the opening was quite powerful. xD The final sequence made me tear up, Hozuki is someone who's always striving to get better, move forward yet that nature of hers eventually pushes the people around her away because the road she's running is so very different from the one everyone else. However, the very fact that there was someone out there who barely knew anything but was still willing to try and catch upto her, perhaps 'to make her eat her words' or maybe so they could all play together must be strangely comforting to someone's who strict upbringing and overwhelming talent has closed them off to the rest of the world. That one shot of Kudo and Hozuki sitting with their backs to each other was beautiful. I think Hozuki's is my becoming my favorite character of the show. Once again, the OST and the sound direction are fantastic, really making everything better. |

| Loved this episode. Kudo is trying so hard to impress Hozuki. I hope her past will be revealed some point, or she would open up to Kudo. |
| Another really good episode, this one might be my biggest surprise this season. The more I get to know about Kudou, the more I like him. Risking himself like that to save the friend of a friend? That isn't something anyone can do. So I like his trio of friends, but it's a pity that the closest and coolest one, Tetsuki, isn't joining the club. Then there's Houzuki. She is amazing. She recruited three members just like that dealing with the first crisis, and saw through the vice director's intention of closing the club no matter what, securing a fighting chance for them. But it seems that being part of a team is still new to her, so there was clashing again. I hate the way she might have really hurt Kudou by making everything his fault again, and I dislike the way she even thought that he would try to do something against her as a revenge. And also the way she hurt him again by refusing his helping hand, and saying that he could damage her koto. But I guess that this time for sure, she is starting to see how he is a good and honest person. She certainly seems to have a lot of baggage too, family issues most certainly. I can't wait to see these two getting closer, and to hear the first resounding note made by their club. Takezou's presence is still pretty... Unnoticeable so far though. |

| Kudo is so fucking cuuute! That little cardboard koto he made for himself and his friends... so sweet! I think the three new characters are gonna be awesome too. They seem like they're gonna bring more comedy to the show. |

| The guys just accidentally bumped into the delinquent and all of a sudden he tries to stab them lol wut. But other than that and apart from some ridiculously laughable drama moments, this episode was much better than the last. | Hozuki's gradually growing on me...when she's not being bitchy and two-faced, at least. All these knife fights suddenly springing up in the middle of my koto anime. I can't adjust. |

I know it's too early to call but I really love their clashes so far and their ability to understand each other as time goes. In this episode we learn that Kudo is one of those who will not give up on his goal no matter how hard it is while Hozuki is trying to connect with people after so many years of pushing everyone away due to her passion. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Aaaand for the first time I dropped an anime!!! Damn Hozuki is too strong, I really can't deal with her and her attitude. It's not the series but the person. I must say you defeated me well, and this is the first time I can't stand or hate a character so so so much that I would drop it. All I can say Yho! I applaud her and this season, to make me drop an anime. 3/10. |

| The characters are all really likable. The comedic relife trio that is also trying is a great addition IMO. Comedy with them is good. Hozuki is really, really cool even though she has a huge flaw that just didn't go away throughout childhood until now. She's hard on herself and others just like her teacher probably was to her. Other people around her didn't like the attitude when they probably just wanted to have fun. But Kudo might be the one to really get to her with his grand resolve and how he doesn't give up despite her usual self. I'm thinking that she might be glad, too that he didn't leave her alone like others did when she does her thing. I think, it's cool that they only let us see and hear little snippets of the Koto. But wow, i got goosebumps when the kids played on these, it sounded amazing. |

If everyone was perfect and nobody had flaws, there would be no point in even living. In a show like this when there's a character as flawed as Hozuki, it leaves tons of room for development. If you're thinking she's going to stay like this forever, you're very wrong. There's a reason why she's written like this now and it's because you'll get to see her soften and open up to others. |

It's not even hard to understand what happened there, the anime made it seem less obvious, but those delinquents got angry because Sakai yelled at them as if they were at fault for bumping into him(and then a subsequent quarrel happened with both sides denying their faults). Obviously the buildup is short because it's a flashback but it's implied. Thanks a bunch Captain  |

| Well then 3 new members join up, and as usual Hozuki is doing a great job of putting Kudo in his place.... You gotta hand it to Hozuki, she does a better job of managing the club than the 4 eye pussy. |
| Ironically it's funny how people like "perfect" characters but as soon a show introduces a bunch of flawed characters that will grow during the course of the Manga/Anime, people get upset. Anyways a lot of dialogue skipped in this episode but ultimately it was still good. The Ryuuseigun performance was powerful! Which was great but it was kinda short. |

| The impact of the little kids playing Ryuuseigun in the manga was more powerful, but I definitely understand why they only showed the beginning of the performance. Most likely they'll being using the same audio for the club's performance, and it would lose impact to have heard the same thing twice. So they're really using the SQ Jump's performances, which also makes sense because the music is already done, why not use it :D The performances are great, but I'd suggest not listening to them if you don't want to get "spoiled" or have the music possibly lose impact when it actually shows up in the anime. |

| I really want to read the manga so bad.. but with a 2nd season already announced, I'm trying to stop my urges. It's pretty rare for these types of shows to incorporate 7 characters in a club and it just gets me excited to see what's up ahead |

The characters are literally carrying a story that needs no carrying but they're so good together. Luckily we will see most of that within these 2 cours. |

| The best episode as of yet. Seeing Hozuki and Kuro battle their "expectations vs. reality" image is as alluring as the challenge that is opposing by the school's vice-prez, ready to take Kudo out of the equation. And that performance definitely is NO CHILD'S PLAY. Koto takes ALOT of self-practice and time to make perfect, and it shows the difference. Kuro's comedic trio comes in as subs to help the club, and it seems that they won't back down as easily as they say, but we'll have to see about that. With the split-cour, expectations are trimming, but nice to see how far the club will go. Definitely one of the best seasonal anime right now. |
