| The city lights flicker as the sound of traffic filled the air. The night sky was blank, all the stars were blocked out for the streetlights and smog from the big city. Two figures were preached upon a nearby rooftop of a supermarket. "Honestly Tenshi-kun! What the hell are we suppose to do between jobs?" said a dark haired man as he finished off a bottle of sake. A azure haired man looked over to him. "Dunno Kuro, I honestly don't know..." said Tenshi as he leaned up against a sign on the building, "City life seems so bland when there is no jobs open. Maybe we should head in to see if there are any posters up yet..." Kuro got up, still a little dizzy for the Sake, and nodded. The two jumped down from the roof and headed towards Zenten Pub. A cheery face greeted them as they entered. She was a brown haired green eyed girl with a heavenly smile. "Karin-chan!" exclaimed the drunken Kuro as he lifted her off the ground. "You two again? I thought you just.... your breath reeks of booze! Put me down!" screamed Karin as she struggled from Kuro's grip. Tenshi stood there with a half smile on his face, but has also rubbing his forehead with his middle and index finger, "Say Karin... is there any jobs for us to do? Money is running tight and we will take anything really..." Gasping for air as she finally broke free of Kuro's grip she straightened herself up and looked blankly at Tenshi's feet, "Another one? How did you two use all the bounty money already?" Tenshi didn't say anything but he stood there glaring at his partner. Kuro snickered and Karin giggled, "I didn't mean to blow it all on booze and gambling..." said Kuro as he frowned. "That pretty much sums it up..." Tenshi said with a sigh. Karin seemed amused by this as a her smile widened into a grin. She headed behind the counter and pulled a black binder with sticky notes marking the specific pages. She closed her eyes and pointed to a picture at random. Tenshi and Kuro inched over to the counter, but before they could get a look she turned around with the binder in hand. The two of them fell forward and sighed, Karin giggled in amusement. "Hmm? Whats this?" asked Tenshi as the red faced Karin looked him in the eyes and handed him a poster. He was less than a foot away from her face. "I-i-its your next job," she said as Kuro snatched the poster from Tenshi. "Awe... come on... is this the best one you have?" asked Kuro. Tenshi glared at him, "If you didn't drink all the damn time maybe we wouldn't have money trouble..." he said coldly as Kuro stood there like a knife stabbed through his heart. Tenshi bowed to Karin, "Thanks for the job Karin-chan, we will finish this one and then come back for our payment," said Tenshi as he straightened himself up and grabbed the collar of his friends jacket and pulled him outside of the pub. "I hope they don't overlook this one... he can be harder than they think..." said Karin under her breath, "That Tenshi... honestly..." As Kuro finally recovered from Tenshi's 'harsh' words he looked over the poster once again, "So its a demon by the name of Aitou eh? What kind of name is sorrow for a demon..." said Kuro. Tenshi shrugs as the two continued to walk down the city streets. Both of their black trench coats swayed in the air. Tenshi's shoulder bumped into someone as they were walking, although he didn't get a good look at the person he rose his arm and called out, "I'm sorry about that." Without looking back the two of them continued to walk until they vanished in the blur that was the city's lights and blended with the crowd. |

| "Karu-kun, I'm fine, I'm almost there," Tsuki said over the phone. Her brother had called her for the tenth time to make sure she was okay. Sometimes, he can too overprotective of her and it drives her nuts. But she also knew that it was the way Shin showed how much he cared for her. She giggled at the thought, as her brother kept asking if she was okay. "Dia-chan, what's going on? Are you okay?" Shin asked over the phone. "For the last time, I'm fine Karu-kun, and I'm getting close to the building so I have to go!" Tsuki said quickly, hanging up. She smirked and looked up at her target building. "Looks like this'll be a little harder than before," she said before hiding on the tree. After Tsuki hung up, Shin sighed and sat down on the rooftop of a building. He gazed at the night sky and whispered quietly to himself, "I hope Tsuki doesn't do anything reckless." |

| A figure in a long black cloak was on a rooftop, watching the sunrise, "ah, what a nice sun," he said slightly smiling. "Slaash! hey I got us a hunt!" a voice said from behind Slaash, then Slaash quickly put away his smile and looked back a Dimir, "so, what's the hunt for?" "We were ordered by the commissioner to hunt down some lycans," Dimir said pulling out a piece of paper, "apparently they've been killing off some people in a small farming community," Slaash pointed north, "in that direction... correct?" Dimir was surprised, "yes sir, but how did ya know?" Slaash began to walk to the edge of the building, "it smelt the most like blood." As the three arrived at the town, Slaash took out his gun, and quickly shoot into the trees about 100m away, and without a yelp, the first one had been killed. "Alright, you two know what to do," two daggers shoot out of Dimir's sleeves which he caught in his hands, and Pess cracked her knuckles, "sir, yes sir," they both said before disappearing into different directions. "Now to locate the alpha," Slaash said disappearing into his cloak. When he came out of his cloak he was deep in the woods in front a giant werewolf, about 25 feet in height, he guessed. The huge lycan stared at Slaash, and growled at him, that would've made any normal man faint. "I hope you're as tough as you look lycanthrope," he said pulling out his large revolver, which had one word on the side of it which looked as tough it were ingraved by a knife: amen. |

| Two lithe figures appeared strolling along the sidewalk, both illuminated by the sun that had begun to appear in the horizon. One was slightly taller than the other, her streaked hair pulled back into a messy ponytail. Strapped to her side was a sheathed katana, freshly sharpened. The other, garbed in wizard robes, shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Oi, Mia! Come on. Tell me you haven't at least thought about my offer." The first woman exclaimed stopping dead in front of Mia, flapping her arms at her sides like a flightless bird. The wizard sighed. "It's true that I have thought about it, Aki." Aki grinned. "But," Mia held up her hand, signalling she wasn't finished. "I prefer to be alone." The corners of Aki's mouth immediately twitched downward. She was not one to take no for an answer. "Look," Aki started, kicking a pebble into the street. "Working alone is great. A hoot. Wonderful. Beautiful. But what if there was a time where you faced a bounty that you COULDN'T handle alone?" Mia raised an eyebrow while Aki jerked her thumb at herself, following up with gesturing between herself and the young wizard. "In those situations, wouldn't it be great if you had some help? A compadre? An ally? With your frost and thunder skills and my wind and fire abilities we would rule the elements. No bounty would go un-killed! We would be invincible! Don't tell me that this isn't a good offer!" Mia once again pinched the bridge of her nose, shaking her head. She didn't travel all the way from Rune Midgard to hunt bounties...or deal with crazy bounty hunters. "Look." Aki's face turned serious. "From your expression I know your probably not interested in bounties or anything. You probably don't want to even be included in this bounty-hunting business. You're probably one of those people who take a bounty all for the means of getting money for a place to crash for the night. But, it seems to me that you're not even giving it a chance. Bounty-hunting isn't all about guts and glory. It isn't even all about the money. Sometimes, you're actually out there helping people. People don't put up bounties just because they want someone dead. Sometimes, people put up bounties because they also want to be protected." The wizard glanced at the swordswoman, both interested by her sudden change of demeaner and intrigued by her lengthy speech. She couldn't deny that what she said was true. People do put bounties out to be protected. So how could she turn down a chance to keep people safe? That's why she became a wizard...didn't she? Shaking her head once more, she extended a hand from beneath the folds of her robes. "Fine. I'll be your partner." Aki's mouth formed an abnormally large grin, too large for her face, as she lunged for the hand like a bear to a fish and shook it with much vigor. "Woot! Look out world! Mia Ziona and Kouyou, Aki are going to kick your arse!" |

| Two figures were dead ahead of Tenshi and Kuro. "How close are we to the mark?" asked Kuro. Tenshi didn't respond, his gaze was locked straight forward. As the two approached the figures, Tenshi noticed it was two girl conversing with one another. Tenshi had his massive scythe on his back and its chains were wrapped around him to keep it in its place. By his sides there was twin swords, one with a obsidian black blade and another a slick silver. Kuro had a broadsword sheathed at his side, and it was a standard steel broadsword, but it had a metal skull over its hilt. The two passed the women, one that looked like a wizard, the other a swordswoman. Tenshi was an angel with no wings, and Kuro a Seraph that had his 6 wings hidden from sight. They both gave off a somewhat Heavenly golden arua, only those that were supernatural could see. Tenshi finally answered Kuro just as they passed the girl. Kuro's Demon eye twinkled at his word, because they were delivered in his cold tone. "Close ." "This bounty will be a piece of cake," replied Kuro, "Isn't that right, Tenshi-kun? Or is it Meian no Enzeru?" "Right now its Yami no Enzeru..." said Tenshi coldly. "Ah, so that means that we are very close if your in that mindset." Tenshi just nodded at Kuro's word. The two then smirked as the finished passing the two women. |
| Shin looked down the bulding. "Hmm, is it me, or are there more people hunting at night?" he said to himself. He spotted at least 4 people who look armed. He sighed and fished a paper out of his pocket. He unfolded it at read it again. Why is that he always get the weirdest ones? The wind blew hard and the paper flew out of his hands and landed down where the armed people were. 'Crap!' Shin thought. His mind raced and he looked down, expecting some reaction. |

| Mia followed the fluttering paper with her eyes until it landed at her feet. Not caring what it was, the young wizard folded the paper in half and glanced in the direction of where the paper had come from. "Hey!" Aki waved, jumping up and down. "That yours?" She pointed to the piece of paper lying in Mia's grip. Mia shook her head at Aki's antics thinking, Childish , before smirking and holding the paper out for the young man to see. |

| Shin gritted his teeth. He hated being spotted like this. He jumped down the building and landed in front of the girl holding her paper. He held out his hand towards her, but he didn't look at her. "My paper?" he said in an irritated voice. |

| Aki frowned at the boy's nerve and was tempted to walk over and smash her fist into his head. But she held back her own anger and opted for standing against the facade of a nearby building, her arms crossed indignantly. Mia smirked a little at her new-found partner, a bit amused at her huffy behavior. The woman then turned her attention to the boy, examining him a bit before handing over the folded sheet. "Next time," she whispered, "hold onto it more tightly." |

| Tenshi and Kuro had stopped for a second to look at the wanted poster. "Lets see..." started Kuro, "Aitou the Wicked wanted dead and not alive..." Tenshi smirked, "Thats a first.. who ever put the mark on his head must be very afriad of him..." "I know right? Lets see... the contracts reward is 100,000 yen..." Kuro said, "100,000 YEN!!" exclaimed Kuro after re-reading it. His grip loosened and the posted slipped from his hand. The wind started to carry it backwards towards the two women and a third guest. Tenshi let off a slight sigh of annoyance as he quickly un-did the chains around him and set his weapons on the ground by Kuro. The poster neared the face of the woman with a katana by her sides and Tenshi performed a flash-step. He was to late, she had already caught the poster and was examining it. Tenshi appeared in front of her and his eyes were an icy blue. The streetlights illuminated his face and amplified the cold feeling from his eyes. "I believe that poster your holding is mine. It slipped from my partner's hand. If you don't mind, I'll be taking it back now..." said Tenshi as he stood there, not blinking, moving, he barely even looked like he was breathing. "Oye! Tenshi-kun!!" exclaimed Kuro as he ran towards the group, struggling to lug all of Tenshi's stuff over to them. He placed it on the ground and addressed the woman who was interrupted by Tenshi when she was talking to the young man with them, "I'm sorry about him, I really am. He gets like this sometimes before a bounty," said Kuro as he rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm Kuro Shin and this is Tenshi Akki." |
| Shin said nothing. He was half paying attention to the two guest that appeared. He was still thinking about his job, and how he should handle it. "Ah, this is going to be hard. Why do this people have too much expectations?" he thought out loud. Then he noticed the two guys that were speaking to one of the girls. |

| Aki glanced at the paper that had fallen before her with interest. Slowly, a chesire grin began to form on her face. Scanning the page, she memorized every bit of the bounty before handing it back to the stony young man, her face a mask of indifference. "Woo, I'm so scared." she said monotonously. "I'm getting glared at by a wee man. I need my blankie and my rubber duck." Swiveling around, she faced the man whom was introduced as Kuro Shin. "It's no problem." she said, giving a mock-salute. "Just don't think that 'cause I'm a girl I'm gonna be scared of a guy GLARING at me. Woo, look at me. I glare at people. HA!" Mia glanced at her partner and merely shook her head in embarassment. "I'm Mia Ziona and this is my..." she forced the word out with a hiss, "partner, Aki Kouyou." |

| Kuro smiled, "Haha, your funny Aki," he said as she handed it back to him. Tenshi gritted his teeth and lifted his massive scythe. He slung if over his shoulder and waited for Kuro to finish talking, "It was nice to meet you both." Tenshi didn't say anything to them. "Hurry up Kuro. The sooner we finish this job, the sooner you can get your booze," said Tenshi impatiently. Kuro waved to the women, "See ya around. Oh and by the way, Tenshi here isn't always like this." "Can you see the mark with your eye Kuro?" asked Tenshi as he scanned the area for any trace of Aitou. "One sec mate," Kuro said as his red eye began to glow. In his eye the buildings started to vanish until he stopped something close to the picture, "Found him." The two smiled as Tenshi rose his hand into the air, "I'm putting it up now, brace yourself..." a pulse of magic rushed from his hand as a strand of insignias enclosed the city with a barrier, just enough to make sure the mark couldn't flee. "Lets go!" exclaimed Tenshi as he vanished from sight. Kuro sighed and picked up the twin swords Tenshi forgot, "We'll be at Zenten Pub after we finish off this mark, maybe we can talk over there sometime," said Kuro with a smirk as he too vanished. |
| "And thus it was back to the GOOD bounty-hunters. And speaking of bounties...did you check out that flyer those guys had?!" The pyro conjured a fireball which then started to swirl about her body as she twirled. "No, I didn't considering you had the flyer." Mia said shifting her quarterstaff to a more comfortable position on her back. "Well, you should've seen it! 100,000 YEN!! Do you know what most bounties go for? Well?!" Mia sighed. "Less than that?" Aki jumped up as the fire faded. "EXACTLY! Which is exactly why we should go after this...Aitou guy." "No." Mia shook her head. "I'm after bounties to protect, not for, as you put it, 'guts and glory.' If you wish to go after that bounty, go right ahead. But if you do, our partnership is over." Aki glared at her partner before sitting rather stubbornly on the concrete floor. "Fine! Ruin all my fun! Just gotta have it YOUR way, dont'cha?" Mia smirked. |

| Aitou was walking around in a human form as Tenshi as Kuro appeared in front of him. Startled he slowly started to take a few steps backwards. "The barrier is up so lets activate step two," whispered Kuro to Tenshi as he nodded. Tenshi whipped out his scythe and he began to glow a heavenly gold. Aitou continued to step backwards as his eyes began to glow, the crowd around the three started to run away. Tenshi slammed his scythe into the ground and exclaimed, "The Icy Scythe of Death! Zetsumei! Cover this town with your eternal frost!" A shockwave rushed though the ground as the night sky began to change colors. Tenshi's scythe Zetsumei had frozen the entire city inside of the barrier, but it wasn't with ice. Time had stopped, and only Supernatural beings could function inside of it. "Now lets get started... Kuro you now what to do," said Tenshi as he began to lift his massive scythe, the chains began to wrap around his arm. Kuro nodded and started to move all of the citizens around them out of harms way, to make it go faster he had used an angelic technique that allowed him to create six clones of himself, one for each wing he had. "I-i-i Know who you are," said Aitou as he stumbled and fell backwards, "Your the Angel of Light and Darkness!" His eyes began to glow red. "Kuro! Hurry, its coming!" said Tenshi as he gripped Zetsumei, "Also I'm the Angel of Darkness right now!" Aitou's body began to transform as a massive demon appeared in front of them. His killers intent reeked of human blood as it spread through the air. His demonic wings spread out and his claws slashed the buildings around him. "Dammit! He is bigger than we thought!" exclaimed Kuro as Aitou began to take flight. Tenshi gritted his teeth and leaped onto the rooftops. Aitou began to run away, " He is running towards that group!" Tenshi yelled as he followed the demon towards the wizard's and swordswoman's location. Kuro whipped out his broadsword, "Lets go Rebellion! Time to rip this demon into pieces!" he exclaimed as his clones came back to him as his one of his three set of his wings sprouted, "Looks like we are going to meet up with them sooner than I thought!" he added with a giant smirk on his face. Aitou was in the line of sight of of the three people: Mia, Aki, and the young man that never introduced himself to Tenshi or Kuro. Tenshi managed to get in front of Aitou and swung Zetsumei at him unleashing a massive wave of energy, which had cut off one of the demons arms. The arm was falling right over the group as Kuro came and diced the arm into pieces. He landed next to the group, his large black wings flapped, then he smiled and said, "Long time no see." |

| Both females looked about their surroundings, each aware that time had suddenly stopped for everyone but them. A bird was caught mid-flight and insomniacs who partied the night away were frozen, smiles temporarily fixed on their features. "Well, this is new." Aki stated, immediately unsheathing her blade from its scabbard. Mia unclipped the quarterstaff from its place on her back and brought it before her. "Something's coming." she whispered, her originally dark blue irises becoming cold like ice. Splashes of black suddenly showered upon them, followed by a burst of cold air. And as soon as it had come it was gone, leaving only a winged demon in its wake. "Long time no see." Aki glared before poking Kuro extremely hard in the chest. "It hasn't even been two minutes, buddy . Now," she grinned, "where did that blood come from? And can we join in the festivities?" |

| Kuro rubbed his chest in a kidding manner, "That hurt," he said with a smiled on his face, "But that blood came from that demon in the sky," he added as he pointed to a armless winged demon that was wailing from pain. "I'm pretty sure Tenshi-kun can handle it. He was also the one that made the time freeze for the time being. It makes it easier so that the citizens don't go crazy from the chaos." Tenshi was standing on a rooftop above them as he swung his scythe a second time, but this time it vanished. He un-sheathed the twin swords at his side an vanished from sight himself. The wings of the demon were severed as it fell helplessly to the ground, smashing up the buildings as it fell. "Seriously... this is going to be troublesome to fix..." said Kuro as he let out a massive sigh. Tenshi landed on the ground next to the group, "Your turn Kuro, you know what to do," said Tenshi. He was completely different from before, he was more laid back than before. He looked over to the girls, smiled and waved, "Hey, um... it was Mia," he pointed to Aki, "and Aki right?" he asked as he pointed to Mia. "Thats not quite right," said Kuro as he rubbed his forehead, "This is Aki," he said pointing to Aki, "and this is Mia..." he finished as he pointed to Mia. Tenshi laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry sorry, I'm usually good with names. I guess I was to focused on the Mark that I got things mixed up. Anyway, we should hurry and finish the job before he recovers." Kuro nodded as gripped onto Rebellion as Tenshi leaned against a wall of one of the building. |
| Shin stared blankly at the two. He wasn't particularly concerned about what was happening around him. He was more like procrastinating. The job was too strict about some things like, you only had to hit his target once, and only once, or it won't be accepted. On the other hand, it had a very high pay. "Onii-chan! Don't slack off and finish your hunt!" He turned, only to see Tsuki glaring at him. "Hm, finished already? I thought it would take you a little longer to finish it," he said, ruffling his sister's hair. Tsuki pouted, mostly because he was making her seem childish. "I finished it, and received the prize. It was weird since everything stopped," she said. |

| Kuro dashed towards Aitou as severed his other arm. Tenshi sighed because it was taking to long. He took off his trench coat and placed it on the ground, "I'm sorry, but it is gonna get a little cold in a second. His body began to glow again, this time he was surrounded by a massive icy blue aura. Kuro noticed this and jumped backwards. "Sit upon the frozen wastelands of death, Hyouketsu!!" bellowed Tenshi as everything began to freeze over. Kuro in the meantime had placed a barrier inside of the barrier that was surrounding the city, to make sure that nothing happened to the group of five people: Himself, Aki, Mia, Tsuki, and Shin. "Meh.... whatever gets the job done faster..." said Kuro with a sigh. Tenshi pulled out his twin swords, "If you ask me, he fights better with his twin swords than he does with his scythe..." "Bring about the Chaos of Hell, Kaosu! Bring out the Order of Heaven, Kiritsu!" exclaimed Tenshi as he swung the swords in front of him, and in a manner of seconds slice and diced the demon. Kuro let out a sigh of relief as he dropped the barrier, a gust of cold wind struck the group, "Before we can take down the second barrier, we have to clean up our mess..." he said with a look of annoyance. "Sorry about the extra mess," Tenshi said as he began to chuckle. |
| Aki sidestepped out of the way before a rather large chunk of flesh crashed onto where she previously was. The swordswoman pointed at the charred lump and hurled a fireball at it, leaving only a searing spot where it once was. "Well," Aki started, hurling another fireball, "that was...interesting. Just don't like being part of the cleanup crew when I didn't even do any fighting! Not fair." Mia's eyes turned violet as thunderbolts rained from the sky, striking any remnants of the demon that remained. The wizard huffed a bit before downing a flask containing neon green liquid. "Oooo, an ether. I've heard about those, just never thought they actually existed." Aki grinned. "Are ya some sorta traveling potion shop?" Mia immediately shoved the flask inside her robe before straightening herself out, her eyes returning to their original hue. "None of your business." |

| Kuro laughed a little and said, "You two really didn't have to help out. Me and Tenshi here are use to cleaning up these kind of thing. But the extra help is appreciated." "Hey are you two busy after this? If not why not come with us to Zenten Pub?" asked Tenshi with a smile on his face a he started to melt the ice. "I'm sure Karin won't mind," added Kuro, "Besides since you helped with the clean-up, we are more than glad to give you a little bit of the reward money." "How is 15,000 yen each? Its not like we are going to spend it on anything," Tenshi said as he then shot a glare at Kuro, "All he ever spends it on is booze anyways..." Kuro shot a blank stare right back at Tenshi, "It's not only booze... we use it for food, hotels, and other things...." Kuro said as he face turned a little red. "We are also trying to get enough money to start our own Hunters Guild," Tenshi added. |
| "Hunters Guild?" Mia asked, thoroughly interested. However, Aki was more preoccupied with...something else. "Money money money mooonnneyyy, MONEY!" she sung, hooking an arm around Kuro's in a buddy-like manner. Aki offered an enormous grin before releasing her grasp and twirling around like a ballerina. "Please...don't mind her. She's...special." Mia hung her head low. How she wished she could escape into her robes like a turtle would its shell. "I hope your not insulting me, partner . Besides, I'm not special. I'm unique! Now..." Aki turned to Kuro. "...about that money." Mia shot her a fierce glare before grabbing the collar of Aki's cloak and dragging her away from the winged being. Aki merely narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms with a huff. What a lovely partnership this will be. Mia thought. |

| Tsuki noticed the other people who were there. "Who are they?" she asked, looking up at Shin. He stared at her blankly before saying, "Go home, it's already late, and you still have school tommorow." She frowned. "Oh no you don't, you have school too! And you won't do that job properly if I don't watch you!" she nagged. |

| "Is 15,000 Yen enough?" asked Tenshi. Kuro smiled and faced Tsuki, "I'm Kuro Shin, also known as the Demonsbane. I'm a Seraphim. This is my partner-" Kuro started. "I'm Tenshi Akki, also known as the Angel of Light and Darkness. I'm a special type of angel known as a Grim Angel, one that is specially trained in combat. We have been Bounty Hunters for the past few years. Although our ideas are different... he only cares about the money and ends up spending it on booze and other unnecessary things...." Tenshi stated. "Oh? All he cares about is finishing the job fast and making sure that people don't get harmed. There is also his dream of creating a Hunters Guild for people with the same interests and Ideas like his..." finished Kuro. "I guess our partnership is flawed," said Tenshi with a shrug. "But thats makes things interesting," added Kuro as the two began to laugh, "By the way Tenshi-kun, its about time to take down the barrier now that the clean-up is over." "Lets wait till we get to Zenten Pub and get our payment. Then we can take it down," replied Tenshi. "Alright, lets go!" exclaimed Kuro as he pointed in the direction of the pub. |

| Tsuki stared blankly at them. Then she looked at Shin, who only nodded. She smiled. "I'm Dia and this is Karu. Nice to meet you Akki-san, Kuro-san," she said as she gestured towards Shin. He leaned towards Tsuki and whispered quietly to her, "Don't get too close to them, you remember that don't you?" |

| Three teenagers, two boys and a girl, were sitting on the top of a 30 story building with their legs dangling off the edge. Each of them were wearing Kabuki masks, one of the boys was wearing a blue one, the other a red one, and the girl, an orange one; and they called each other by color. Next to Blue, a bag was moving around as if a human was inside. Red: It's such a nice night out isn't it!? Orange: haha, yeah! Blue: WHOO!!!! YEAH!! Blue pushed the bag over the edge. It fell rapidly for about a dozen stories. Then the rope it was attached to pulled fast and the bag swung towards the building shattering the window. The trio followed the bag, screaming as the adrenaline filled their bodies. Once inside, they pulled the person that was in the bag up. Red: Open it. He pointed towards a vault. The man was shaking with fear. He typed in the combination, and the vault opened. Blue: Now that's more like it! Inside the vault were stacks and stacks of cash. On the far wall were jewels of all sorts. The Blue and Red piled in as much cash into their bags as they could. Orange went back to the jewelry. She saw a peculiar black box. She put that in her bag too. Red turned towards the still frightened man. Red: Call the cops. Man: What? Red handed the man a cell phone: Call the cops. Sirens wailed towards the bank that was just robbed. The trio were sitting on the balcony overlooking the first floor entrance. Blue was looking out the window as the police came up. He took out the tires of the closest cars with his .338 Lapua Magnum. The cars crashed into each other. Blue: Whoo! haha! Orange: Hey! let some of them get to us! Two more cars swerved around the crash. The cops inside ducked behind their doors. Orange: my turn! She switched her M4 Carbine to her M203. The grenade destroyed one vehicle. Red: Enough foreplay, my turn. Three more cars spun to the front of the building. Red pointed his M2 and fired away. He tore holes in the doors, the windows, and the people. Blue: Smokin' Orange: Come on! let's go! we're finished here! haha! Red: Right. The trio ran back to their car and sped off, leaving the mess behind. |
| A cloaked figure was crossing the street as the sound of tires squealing came rushing towards it. The smell of rubber burning filled the air and stung its nose. It grunted at the smell but then was blinded by the headlights of the on coming car. The figured leaped upwards from to dodge the oncoming car., but it still made some contact with the vehicle. Its claws scraped against the roof, leaving gashes in the metal. The beast landed on all fours as it fell to the ground, the tires of the car screeched as it came to a halt. “Three people,” counter the beast, “Each one hiding behind a mask…” it added in somewhat of a low roar. It began to straightened itself up, and its hood fell back along with a tail slipped from underneath the cloak. Its ear twitched as the wind brushed against its face. Standing, illuminated by the streetlights, was a beast about six feet tall with a coat as dark as the nights sky. The beast was a Khajiit, they are extremely intelligent, quick, and agile. Khajiit of all breeds have a weakness for sweets and many of them disdain weapons in favor of their natural claws. They make excellent thieves due to their natural agility and unmatched acrobatics ability. Many Khajiit are also warriors, although this is less common among the breed. He stood there as he glared at the car of a moment, but soon pulled his hood back over his face. He retracted his claws and disappeared into the night. |

| Blue jumped out of the car. Red: What was that? Blue: No idea, but it ran off. Orange: Get back in! Blue: ok. The trio drove back to their hideout, the top floor of an office building across the town. Blue: Ok, so... 3 million a piece. Red: Not bad... Orange was looking at the box she had picked up. She opened it and saw a necklace, a ring, and a bracelet. The ring had a ruby set in a gold band. The necklace had a carnelian hanging at the end of a silver chain. The bracelet had a sapphire set in a silver band. Orange: Hey! check these out. Red: Ooh shiny! He picked up the ring and put it on. Red: Perfect fit! Blue: This looks cool. He snapped the bracelet on his wrist. Orange: Hey now! I got these! She put on the necklace. Blue: Well don't we split everything anyway? Red: Besides, there's a dragon carved under this ruby, much too masculine for you. Blue: Really? let me see! Sweeet! Orange: hmm... This carnelian's got a flower on it... Blue: No fair! Mine doesn't have anything. Red: Well yours is blue, so it works. Orange: Hey how 'bout that? we got our colors. Blue: Wow you're right! Red: Wasn't that on purpose? Orange: Oh, it was? Red: Well I grabbed the Ruby because it was red... Orange: But the chances that there would be three pieces with our three colors? Blue: Trippy... Red: Whatever, it's all good. I'm gonna go sleep now. It's like what? 4 in the morning? Blue: Great idea. Orange: Good night! |
| In the local pub, Slaash stood out like a sore thumb with his black coat, but he stood out wherever he went. Pess and Dimir looked socially acceptable, but they were playing cards with some other men. Slaash raised his hand, "another roqil," a clear drink was brought to him. "Another stupid and easy opponent..." he drank it in one go, "if only there were stronger things for us hunters to go after... another roqil," he drank it down as fast as the one before. "Flush," Pess said putting her cards on the table, "royal," Dimir said with an evil grin on his face, "ah dammit!" yelled three other men who looked very distressed, "I should've known better than to go against you two." Dimir began to chuckle as he pulled the money to him, "well come back if you ever want to try again gentlemen!" he said as he laughed quite loudly. |

| Tenshi and Kuro entered the pub and saw a few new faces among them. Kuro approached the counter, "Yo Jake, Karin around? We have business to finish up." "And if it's possible we need a room as well," said Tenshi as he took off his coat and hung it up on a coat rack behind the counter. "Its pretty late... Karin left a while ago, but we do have a few rooms open upstairs. I take it your business went well?" asked the burly barkeep named Jake. "It went well.. oh yeah! Oye! Mia! Aki! You two have a place to crash? If not I'm sure Jake can find some room," said Tenshi. "Friends of yours?" asked Jake. "More or less, Hunters just like us," Tenshi said with a smile. "Speaking of Hunters... three came in earlier, didn't seem like they know about this place..." added Jake. Kuro had drifted away from Tenshi and the gang and found himself at a table with some people playing cards. Two of them were the Hunters Jake was talking about, "Ya mind if I join in?" asked Kuro as he sat at the table, his wings were hidden beneath his black trench coat, along with his sword. 'Great... gambling again... if its not drinking its gambling...' thought Tenshi. |

| "Do we mind if ya join?" Pess said grinning evilly, "only if ya like ta lose money!" Dimir said finishing Pess' sentence, then he laughed. "I can tell you are a hunter," Dimir said shuffling the cards, "what did you guys score tonight? all we got was a lycan infestation," Dimir sighed, tossing the cards to people, "well at least we got a good price for 'em, you and Slaash are always complainin' bout how ya enemies ain't strong enough, ya guys should just be happy we get our pay," Pess said drunkenly irritated at Dimir. Slaash noticed all the hunters come in, "huh, I guess this is a hunter spot," he drank his alcohol, he tried to remember how many drinks he had, "not enough," he chuckled to himself getting another drink. |

| Both Mia and Aki followed the two men into the bar, observing their surroundings with somewhat keen interest. The air is thick with smoke and the pungent aroma of alcohol. The tavern is mildly occupied, the customers bowed religiously over their drinks. The wizard and swordswoman bounded over to the countertop, seating themselves on two vacant stools. "Oi, barkeep!" yelled Aki, grinning. "Something strong over here!" Instantly a frothing mug slid down the tabletop, caught firmly in Aki's anxious hands. Mia merely shook her head whispering, "Water." as she watched her partner all but down her beverage in one gulp. Then, with a satisfied burp, Aki staggered a bit before righting herself in her seat and screaming for yet another glass of beer. Slamming her empty cup down, Mia stood and glided over towards the poker table. Knowing Aki, she would probably slice someone in half before something happened. Sinking herself into one of the chairs surrounding the poker table, with a glimmer in her eye, she cracked her knuckles. "We don't have a place to stay," Mia started, smirking slightly,"and I suppose while we're here I might as well have a little fun. What say you, gentlemen? Care to get this game started?" |

| Kuro smiled as Mia sat down, "Nothin' much really. We made about 70,000 yen tonight off of some demon," Kuro said as she downed a mug of beer, "How about we play for round? Tenshi-kun will get mad if I blow off all of our earnings." Tenshi sighed as he walked behind the counter, "Hey Jake, I'll let one of my clones help out some," said Tenshi as an insignia appeared on the ground. A pillar of ice shot out of it and it eventually formed a clone of Tenshi, "Yo!" exclaimed the clones. "Oh great... him... I hate that clone...." said Tenshi with a sigh as the clone started to serve beer to a group of women at one end of the bar. "Him eh...." said Jake as he sighed as well. Tenshi headed over to one of the pubs pool tables, "I guess a little 9-ball can't hurt..." "Oye! Just make sure you don't break any of them this time!" exclaimed Jake as he tried to restrain Tenshi clone for doing anything weird. "I know... I know..." said Tenshi as he began to set the table up. |

| "Who cares if ya blow all ya money? we don't!" Pess laughed, drinking some of her beer. Dimir noticed Slaash was doing his usual drinking that would probably burn through their money again, "can you wait, I gotta stop the man burning through our cash," he said getting up and walking over to Slaash. "Hey Slaash man, think ya had enough to drink?" he said putting his hand on Slaash's shoulder, Slaash didn't answer, "hey, Slaash?" Dimir slightly pushed Slaash, and Slaash fell like a rock to the floor, "oh great, he passed out," Dimir sighed, "well I'll take you back to the apartment," he said carrying Slaash over his shoulder. "Hey Pess," he said before leaving the pub, "I'm taking Slaash to the apartment, don't start any barfights while I'm gone," he said then disappeared out of the bar. Pess took another gulp of her beer and started playing, "damn him, not like I'll start a barfight, that little bastard," she mumbled to herself. "Hell yea! flush! try an' beat that ya... ya person!" she laughed. |

Get away from her you lecherous clone!" barked Jake. Tenshi hung his head even lower as his blue haired clone was acting up again. Tenshi's clone shattered into piece when he snapped his fingers, "Guess I'll have to help out personally...." |
| Mia threw down her four-of-a-kind with a scowl and pushed her yen towards Kuro. Moving to the edge of her seat, her azure eyes took on a steely quality; she would not lose another hand. Meanwhile in another part of the bar... "Weeeee!!!!!" Aki giggled childishly, swiveling in her stool. "Drunk, drunk, drunk, drunk-ity DRUNK!! *hic*" |

| A beast appeared at the entrance to the bar and picked up the woman that fell. Kuro was shuffling that card and Tenshi was serving beer, but they had both stopped when this happened. The hooded beast revealed his face. The two looked at him. "Jake, is there somewhere this person can rest?" asked the being at the door. Jake nodded and showed him upstairs. "So he is back in town," asked Tenshi as he came over by Kuro. "Seems like..." said Kuro. The beast reappeared and took off his cloak, 'Yo Tenshi-kun, Kuro-kun." "Hey Eucephalus," they both replied in unison. |
| Pess had become somewhat more sober, "so... who's dis person? and wait... demons? sometimes I hate the fact that I'm the same race as those other brainless lower life forms," she sighed. She looked outside the bar, "well it took him long enough," Dimir walked through the bar doors with blood stained knives, "well, things are getting interesting around here," he said looking behind him, "well, does anyone know what's going on? or are we all on the same page?" |

| Eucephalus took a seat at the table, he smiled somewhat and said, "My name is Eucephalus, also known as the Midnight Khajiit." "We know each other pretty well... and before I teamed up with Tenshi-kun," said Kuro. "I suppose a team of angels works out better than an angel-beast team," stated Eucephalus. "Heh heh... I suppose... even though Tenshi is the one that usually does all the fighting," added Kuro. "It’s because your lazy...." replied Tenshi, "and besides you and Kuro made a good team Eucephalus." "I guess... but I prefer to work solo," said Eucephalus after downing a glass of milk. "Assassin work must have some good benefits..." said Kuro in a sulking manner. "I'm not just an assassin. I am what ever the job calls for, an Ace of all trades so to speak," replied Eucephalus. Tenshi then looked over to Dimir, "It’s strange, they have been acting up lately... the numbers haven't been this high in a while. I suppose that some of us should go take a look around town and see what we can find," he said as he stood up. He sighed and closed his eyes, when he opened them his personality changed. "So... they have you paired up with him eh?" asked Eucephalus as Kuro nodded in response, "He is angel that has two faces… the Angel of Light and Darkness.” "He isn't that bad to work with, even though he may not look it, both sides of his split are powerful in their own ways. Both are skilled with weapons, however his Light side favors a magic and weapon combination, while his Dark side favors combat more," stated Kuro in a low whisper. Twin swords began to materialize by both of Tenshi's sides. On his left was a sword in and sheathe the color of ivory, and on his right was one in a jet black one. "The Twin Swords of Chaos and Order, Kaosu and Kiritsu..." mumbled Eucephalus. "He lost both of his wings for those swords," Kuro whispered to Eucephalus. "I'm gonna have a look around town again, who know... this might be fun," stated Tenshi with a devilish grin on his face. |

| Orange woke up. She was finding sleep difficult. She kept on thinking about the necklace she had on and the ring and bracelet that Red and Blue had. She still couldn't believe that they could have fit so perfectly with the right colors. She walked over to Red who was sleeping on the couch. The ring was still on his finger. She knelt down to look at it. Under the ruby, but clearly visible, a roaring oriental dragon was carved. It's mouth faced out and its eyes glared at her. She looked in awe at the dragon. She looked down at her necklace and the flower inside. Red had told her that it wasn't as beautiful as she was, but she still thought it looked pretty. She couldn't tell what kind of flower it was. More like a thief than a lady, she could tell the gems as soon as she saw them, but she had no idea what flower was carved in it. She was curious to see Blue's. She walked over, behind the couch. Blue fast asleep on the floor, like a child. I guess we're all pretty childlike she thought. She looked at the bracelet on his wrist. He was right, there was no design carved under or on his sapphire, but starting at one end of the gem, five rows of curves wrapped around the bracelet to the other end. Waves. She headed back to her room, stopped at the doorway and looked back at her partners in crime. She walked into her room and sat down on the bed. She looked at the clock. 6:32 in the morning. haha, they fell asleep quick. It was about 9:30 where her parents were. She decided to give her dad a call. "Hello? Yeah, is my dad there?" "Yes, just one second." "Hello?" "Dad?" "Yes?" "Oh hi dad, I was just calling to, you know, say hi." "Oh, ok, hi. ... Umm, honey? I'm a little busy right now. Can I talk to you later?" "Oh, ok ok, that's fine." "Ok. I love you, bye." "right, love you too." She hung up the phone. Always the same... She decided she couldn't sleep. She got up and took a shower. She threw some fresh clothes on and took the elevator down to the first floor. there was a park only a few blocks away. She could go there and watch the chipmunks or something like that. As she was walking, she passed several city high rises. Her mind wandered back to the jewelry. She kept on thinking and lost track of where she was walking. Where was I going again? Where am I? She had walked down an alley. Suddenly, she felt a sharp grab on her shoulders and she was thrown against a wall. Her head it the wall and she was unconscious. A man bent down next to her and growled a pair of sharp fangs at her. He bit the side of her neck. After a few seconds, the carnelian on her necklace glowed brightly. Rays of light shot out. The vampire was shocked and pulled back. Two small tears let blood fall freely from the side of Orange's neck. The light engulfed the vampire. A chunk of the wall behind him tore off and fell, crushing the vampire. It floated back neatly into place. The vampire twitched and slowly healed the most vital wounds. The light shot out brighter and the vampire disappeared. As the light faded away, blood stopped flowing out of her neck and the flower continued a faint glow. |

| "Oye, Tenshi-kun you shouldn't be so eager do rush into a battle without knowing your target," said Jake as he headed towards the group. He looked at the clock and saw that it was about 7 in the morning, "Karin is coming soon, don't you have things to talk to her about?" he added. "Kuro can talk to her, its only about the rewards. Make sure you pay Aki and Mia Kuro," said Tenshi as he ran outside. "I kinda guessed he'd do that..." Kuro said in a sulking manner. Eucephalus roared in laughter as did Jake. Tenshi was running along the rooftops of the city, he could hear the people in the buildings he was running on complain about the noise on the roof. Tenshi stopped on top of a nearby office building, one of the highest places in the city, so that he could get a good look at the city. He heard someone stirring, probably just a early riser he thought. He stood there for a few minutes but didn't see anything, he then ran to the edges, causing more noise to flow through the room, until he had finally jumped off to the escape ladder of the building across the street. After which he jumped down a few stories into the alleyway below. On his way down, a blinding light hit him, the scene of what looked like two figures flashed before his eyes and soon he hit the ground. It took him a few seconds to get up after his fall, he sight was slowly coming back. One of the two figures was in front of him, it was a woman against a slumped up against a wall. He waited until she had regained consciousness. He smiled, he was back to his light side, "Are you alright?" he asked in a friendly tone as he extended his hand to help her up. |

| Orange: Thank you. She stumbled as she got up. She rubbed the back of her head. There was a good sized bump. Orange: Ouch. I'm ok... She was obviously lying. |
| Tenshi squinted his eyes as he looked at her, "Your a pretty bad lier you know that..." he said as he began to circle her, "Thats a pretty big bump you have there..." he noticed weird marks on her neck, "bite.. marks?" he questioned out loud, "Did something attack you?" he asked her as he finished circling her and was now back in front of her, "You should at least get checked out at a hospital... oh thats right! You name, I forgot to ask your name. I'm Tenshi Akki," he added with a smile. |
