Loved the chapter! Shuu is such a great character. Lol at Touka admitting she sucks at Japanese and at Tsukiyama coming up with names for the child. Wasn’t expecting Kanou to go out like that. |

A beautiful chapter we got this week i must admit. Let's see Tsukiyama's speech Surely this is one of the highlights of this chapter. We got to see Tsukiyama's true feelings towards Kaneki. And one important thing is he isn't speaking for himself only,he was speaking about all the loved ones of Kaneki. He mentioned that he can't read books nor can he cradle his own child. He just wants to see him happy. This creates an effect among everyone. And i laughed at Tsukiyama's attempt at giving a name to Kaneki's child. And at last Ayato arrives, though he doesn't come in a flash still he arrives at an important point of time. And Itori leaves the group. She has chosen the Clown side not the Goat side. Dr. Kanou & Kuro This is one of the emotional parts of the chapter.Kanou is feeling empty after he achieved what he had always intended, to break the birdcage. He also reveals an important point that Ghoul research has points in medicine.I feel this will become an important factor in the future. He also reveals that Waashu's are a clan who came from the middle east.I think this is fitting because the legend of Ghoul stories came from the middle east.Their cannibalism gave them lot of power. And Kanou's suicide really took me off-guard.We thought he may be the final villain so it took us surprised. And as Kimi joined Marude,so there is no chance that she will be a villain now.I feel Kanou left instructions what needs to be done in this very situation.Hoping she meets Nishio soon. Hide-Touka reunion As the Goat decides how to rescue Kaneki Hide with Akira and Amon arrives.Naturally Toula is shocked to see them. But I feel this chapter perfectly mirrors the theme of Re.After darkness there is clear sky with sunshine.I feel there is hope that Ishida wants to show us in this chapter.Kaneki can be saved from this,(though he may go to heaven at the end still at least Mankind and Ghouls can be saved from Dragon). And I sense this is the beginning of the Ghoul-Human alliance through the efforts of Hide. Overall,I give this chapter full 10/10.Now eagerly waiting for the next chapter. |

Wow Hide has actually the whole thing planned out. The first 2 pages, like I mentioned in the last chapter, shows how well Tsukiyama knows Kaneki and the long relationship they have. And he just screwed the pooch with the naming thing, even if the translation was screwy the last name, Kaneki Kaneki had to have been the same in Japanese, how the hell did he think of that. Nice to see Amon and Akira back. What the hell happened to Hide's eyes. Also holy shit, didn't think Kanou would go and off himself. |

Kanou was always such a mysterious characters in the story, I thought there was gonna be a time when he gets more screen time. Can't say I'm satisfied with the way and how soon he met his end, specially with all the atrocious things he did, but oh well. Tsukiyama crying makes me sad, he's so different than the way he was on the beginning of the manga, sincerely caring for others now (well, mostly Kaneki). Ayato is back already, I thought we would get more of his adventures on the underground city, but I think he at least got some useful information. Still wanted to see the old One-Eyed King, now I don't know if he/she will appear. |

What the fuck was with Kanou killing himself? That shit was anticlimactic as fuck. I expected so much more from him but I guess Ishida is really tired of the series and wants to wrap it up quick. This is the second time I've rated a chapter 1/5. |

If you don't realize that this whole thing was planned by Ishida then you better give the series a second read. It's almost unreal the amount of foreshadowing that it's not surprising anymore. So let's rehearse from the beginning: Part 1 chapter 99 "You're my ultimate creation, Kaneki" Part 1 chapter 99 The birdcage of someone else's make; the one holding the world back Part 1 chapter 99 Means to break it Part 1 chapter 99 A matter of time until he fulfills his "duty"; the man who's not interested in living anymore. Part 2 chapter 44 Kaneki; the "imperfect, growing perfection" Part 2 chapter 44 The requirements for that goal. "The assistant" (could be referring to himself, or might have to do with Furuta, his father, or the Vs). And, Kaneki the "PROTOTYPE" Part 2 chapters 149, 144 Nucleus put, nucleus taken. (still a bit unclear tho) Part 2 chapter 148 Using ghoul research in medicine; meaning coming to the CCG. Part 2 chapter 149 Why he couldn't come to CCG (in the Washuu era) was because of that very research he wanted Ishida is a genius writer whatever anybody might think. |

looks like its kanou's plan all along created the prototype (kaneki) with the kakuhou of rize, a binge eater, a perfect source of rc cells. Next he practiced creating half ghouls(kurona, nashiro, takizawa, amon), then mass produced(oggai squad), then the nucleus(furuta) and when eaten by kaneki, its finished the "Tokyo Ghoul". I'm glad that even though he's dead there's still information he left, and the kanou assistant to help ccg, kinda intriguing what more revelations he's hiding. A bit of interesting history about washuu, they practice cannibalism. Tsukiyama drama was sad and funny at the same time. Wants to eat both father and child, a combo set xD |

Sometimes this manga makes me feel idiot and confused but then it opens so beautifully that i'm just full of joy. I love how Tsukiyama sees Kaneki and how Hide has always cared for him. This manga is sooooo packed of emotions that even though at one point you find a character bad, at last you will understand the reasons behind its deeds |

Disappointed with Kanou's end, so anticlimactic. His motivations are cliche as well. Apart from that the chapter was great, Tsukiyama is such a great bro and his character development is the best. I liked the lighthearted style of the chapter, got sick of the never ending darkness in this arc @b-okiya So? Just being planned is not enough, the execution is important. And Kanou appearing again after such a long time and just killing himself is lame as fuck. This is like Naruto where every bad guy isn't so evil after all..boring |

I also was not fond of the way Kanou died... Just when we see him again after so long, he's now dead... :/ Now that Kanou no longer has goal, he decides to end his life... I'm unsatisfied. It was touching when Tsukiyama cried, and asked if he was the only one who wanted to see Kaneki happy.... x.x It's clear Tsukiyama has always looked out for Kaneki's well-being. <3 That bit about Tsukiyama wanting to eat Kaneki and his child was an lol moment. it would be hilarious if one of Tsukiyama's recommended baby names, was taken as a nickname... :P It's good to see Ayato back, but I wanted a flashy return.... x.x It's good to see that Hide, Amon, and Akira approached GOAT in the end. This may be the human and ghoul alliance finally taking place, the co-existence that Kaneki dreamed of. Regarding Kimi...let's see what she has in store, to help CCG. I do want to see her reunion with Nishiki... |

I am sorry this is hilarious, seeing them trying it's hardest to try to defend Kaneki and seeing how all the others bystander ghouls buyed into this whole self-righteous believe that Kaneki should live after what happened is laughable. I dont know how Ishida did it, but is briliant how little i care about anyone in this hell hole of a manga at this point. Characters keep on being demoted to nothing more than plot devices and as soon as they are not needed to the plot anymore they get killed off in a blick of an eye. |

Indeed. Yeah, this so much! The first true human-ghoul relationship of the new world/future. You forgot that nobody knows that that mosnter is Kaneki except those directly involved. The ghoul faction would help get rid of this monster, and the whole of Tokyo, humans and ghouls alike, would witness this. For those who doesn't know Kaneki, he is common enemy of human and ghoul now. And both human and ghoul would join hand in exterminate him. When in truth, the internal people, will dig out Kaneki. Tbh I'm still not sure what Ishida planning. It's true that people are too forgiving of Kaneki. When in truth, he did mass murder people. Sure, that Tsukiyama's speech would connect to people closest to Kaneki (Goat). But what about Amon and Akira? The CCG? I think Amon and Akira's care for Kaneki is justified enough. However, they must realize that Kaneki did kill a lot of innocent people in that form. The CCG and the human side agreed to join hands with Ghouls just to "exterminate" Kaneki first and foremost. Whether he ended up guilty or not, it would determinded later I think. Everyone's priority right now is to "kill monster Kaneki" (calm him down, waking him up, get rid of his Kakuja, dig him out). I think what would be the most challenge in forgiving Kaneki is Kaneki himself rather than random people. He would faster kill himself than forgiving himself mass murdering his own kind (both humans and ghouls). Even if Hide, Touka (and the baby), Tsukiyama there, I don't know. The first thing that come to mind when he turned into monster "Oh man it's over. Even when he can turn back to human form, he would destroy himself from inside". In short, I still find it hard to picture Kaneki out of this mess magically cured. This is when Hide's love will play part I guess ; w ; |

They will join up to defeat Dragon Kaneki but after that humans would be harsher on ghouls since it was one of them who did all the destruction. And even though right now they don't know who it is, when they dig him up they will (they could try to hide him from the ccg..not sure) Thats why I think this was just unnecessary forced tragedy. Kaneki has already been through a lot, what was the point of turning him into a damm mass murderer. Unless his personality changed (again) I don't see how he is coming back from this. |

Kaneki is just a scapegoat, readers know Furuta's behind it so if Kaneki ever does come back, Ishida can just out Furuta as the mastermind and sicko who planned it all out (which he kind of already has been). Also, who even know's it's Kaneki aside from those close to him. Sorry, while I agree with your points, there are many ways for this to be undone. Now, if only it can be in a way that is satisfying to the majority of the readers |

So what do you think is that nucleous ?? |

I dont know how Ishida did it, but is briliant how little i care about anyone in this hell hole of a manga at this point. What? Why shouldn't he? Unconsciously or not he still responsible for committing mass murder, this will cause a giant outbursts of the general public and having even bigger increasing of the already negative view humans have of ghouls now. Coexisting will become impossible at this point and all because of Kaneki actions. Sure his friends have all right to defend him, but all other people that barely know him should feel infuriated. Not simply say "yeah this random guy deserves to live an happy life even tho he pretty much screwed ours". Now, if only it can be in a way that is satisfying to the majority of the readers You are looking at things from a reader's perpective and not from a character point of view. Sure we as readers know Furuta was the one that caused all this, but anyone that is not fully knowledgeable off the situation will think everything was caused by a ghoul (more concrete the OEK because everything happened during the war making him automatically the most likely suspect of such feat) sense nothing in that thing resembled a human to begin with. Even if the CCG would come out and exposed Furuta actions no one would belive them, not only that but in doing so it would damage all CCG credibility and public trust. Nevertheless my point still stands, random ghouls should not be cheering for Kaneki after what happened. |
